Oh my gosh. Can't say enough amazing things about Katrina and Elite Cryo Lounge. I was hesitant to try cryotherapy, but after 4 sessions, I am HOOKED! Katrina couldn't be more lovely, and makes you feel so comfortable and distracted that you almost forget you're standing in -250 degree temperatures! I have patellar tendinitis and with a pretty active workout regimen, my knee gives me a decent amount of pain. I went into a session limping, and walked out with virtually no pain - seriously. I'm always obsessed with the betterment of my skin. I was told about all the amazing benefits of cryogenics and decided to try it out. After going to Elite Cryo lounge the treatments exceeded my expectations. I've done Cryo facials, cryo fat freeze and skin tightening. I noticed a slight difference immediately after my treatment and then a significant difference after my second and third. For my face my pores shrunk, my dark circles reduced and the pigmentation evened out. It's a great non invasive quick way to treat yourself to maintaining healthy skin. But the even more result was tightening my abdominal skin with no surgery and no downtime. I had a baby many years ago and the lose skin I had after child birth has been a battle for several years. Like most others, I finally got the nerve to try this because I heard it was good for muscle recovery. Katrina was super helpful and she's with you every step of the way. I started off the first of my five sessions with a 2-min freeze and it was like a dry cold; very bearable and believe me, I'm a chicken when it comes to the cold. You gradually build up to the 3-min mark which was my third session. Never fear, Katrina is always there to chat with you to make the time pass quicker! For those scared of closed spaces, this is open at the top, i.e. your head sticks out. The enclosure closes but it's not locked and you have plenty of room to hop and move around which you're encouraged to do. The tingle you get post-cryotherapy is amazing. And so is the energy boost.
