I had the most amazing experience at NKD NYC. They were so nice and accommodating. The ambiance was welcoming and clean. From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed and Erin the manager really took the time to go through the options of what I was thinking of having done and pointed me in the right direction. She didn't try to up sell which I really appreciated. I wanted my whole face done but she was honest and pointed out the areas that she felt would see the most results. After consult I decided to have my eyes, forehead and lips done. I went ahead BTL Exilis ULTRA treatment and couldn't be happier. I saw an immediate difference. My skin is now smoother, tighter and radiant. I highly recommend this place. They get an A plus for cleanliness, ambiance and treatment. read more

The women at NKD make you feel at home the second you walk in the door. The office is upscale, immaculately decorated and maintained and extremely warm and welcoming. Erin is a dynamo- she runs the whole place effortlessly with a gorgeous smile on her face. Every nurse I've had IV vitamin therapy from has been an expert in helping to relax and are thoroughly educated on everything that's going into your body. This place literally has it all. The cryotherapy machine is the coldest in the city and has completely changed my body for the better. I'm disappointed to be writing this review because I wanted to like this place so much but unfortunately behind the marginally fancy white robes and slippers, the upscale cool modern spa / luxury wellness retreat that this place tries to be is nothing but an overpriced mish mosh of unproven treatments that don't work. They get you in for one thing and try to lure you for other more expensive things like cryotherapy, facial treatments, etc. I spent thousands of dollars on the Vanquish Treatment on my stomach and was assured it was going to work and I left the same way I entered with no change after many sessions! I was very unsure about this treatment and was considering liposuction. I did reach out to NKD and other places to learn about this less invasive treatment. Erin, the General Manager assured me of the amazing results I will get and so many clients have gotten. I was still unsure about this treatment. Erin, the General Manager could not provide any pictures of any client results, I mean that should have been my first red flag, how can a place offer a treatment and claim it works amazingly and not have a book of before and after pictures. Erin did put me in touch with some "client friend" that did this treatment and he provided a half decent review of the treatment , but when I asked him for pictures of his stomach before and after he refused to show me. So, I decided to go with NKD. I kept being reassured that I'll see results after each session. The next time becomes the next session and so on. The results just never come. This treatment is a scam and the place is a joke packaged in a couple modern chairs, dark rooms, and some cool music. Every time I burnt my stomach for an hour and I was told my numbers are great I did so well, and who knows if any of that is true. My first two sessions, the tech had no idea what she was doing, I felt nothing. Erin is very nice, like overly nice and pleasant and calm but don't let that fake niceness fool you. She snaps and turns in a second. When I confronted her at the end about my horribly failed treatment and asked her if there's anything She can do to rectify the situation ,she became a different person and raised her voice over the phone and argued with me that it was my fault that I didn't follow the proper treatment plan and they did everything for me. I felt she just wanted to shut me up! I drank over a gallon of water a day while getting the treatments. I was constantly in the bathroom urinating, I ate well, and I exercised. I had to miss some sessions due to work, but the treatment calls for only 4-5 sessions I did those amounts of sessions and still no difference whatsoever. According to NKD, all the other so-called clients saw amazing results. Those clients that they have no before and after pictures of. What really disturbed me is how Erin and the office handled the situation. They never acknowledged my dissatisfaction but only what they have done for me. That does not matter when they misled me and the product does not work and they will do nothing to fix the situation. Other businesses that care would have tried to work with the customer to have them leave the place at least somewhat happy. That is when you know the true essence of a business at the times when a customer is really not happy and NKD failed miserably. She originally told me let me see what I can do after I expressed my great dissatisfaction. It took her two weeks and she didn't even call me back I got an email basically saying there's nothing else they can do for me. Then all they did was blame me as my fault that it didn't work. Any sense of customer service and trust in the business that was there was all lost. As a consumer when you pay so much for something and are falsely assured of results and are misled you feel an unfair sense of loss and extreme disappointment and you feel taken advantage of. I would strongly advise you against Vanquish and NKD. Look elsewhere and do your research. NYC has so many better legit places and I wish I considered my options first and didn't rush. read more

Love this place! The facilities are clean and feel very modern. Recently went in for cryotherapy and a Cryo facial and my skin is glowing afterwards! I usually don't write reviews, but this was such a lovely experience that it deserves to be written about! I had micro-needling done here just over a week ago and am finally showing results... and so happy!! My skin looks much more radiant and refreshed - I can only imagine how much better it will be after my next session! A friend of mine has been coming to NKD regularly and finally convinced me to book an appointment. So glad I did - the space is really beautiful, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. I felt very well taken care of throughout my whole experience. Debbie, the esthetician that worked on me was so sweet and very knowledgeable! I had so many questions and she was very thorough in explaining every step of the process - made me feel really comfortable since I didn't know what to expect in my first session. I think I'm hooked!!!! I got a mini tour of the place before I left, they have Cryo and IV Vitamin therapy too which I'm a big fan of! Love that they have it all in one space. I had a really special day at NKD today. First time there, first of all, it's just a gorgeous space. Soft wood and leather interiors, soft blankets, very thoughtful and detailed atmosphere. I had the cryotherapy, the light therapy bed, and a customized IV drip. I just arrived from 40 hours of travel the day before, and Erin the manager customized my treatment plan to combat jet lag. Cryotherapy - loved it. Ability to select your level of intensity beforehand, and BEST of all, you get to pick your music to blast in the room to get you through the 3 minutes of cold! Light Therapy - 20 minutes in the light bed, and I was on another planet of relaxation. It felt so soothing, so calming, and was perfect to follow the cryo. IV Drip - beautiful room, soft blankets. Deena was the nurse who administered the IV, she made sure I was comfortable, and I got a custom blend of vitamins and amino acids that I think I really needed after months of travel. I felt so good and so taken care of when I walked out. Highly recommend this spa. Very luxurious but warm and friendly. I'll be back! read more

I rarely write Yelp reviews, but I have to say, even before my scheduled appointment, for skin rejuvenation/anti-aging, Erin, went above and beyond to discuss all available treatments and consulted with me for over an hour! I have never seen such wonderful customer service. The facility was immaculate and I had an painless procedure called Exilis for skin tightening on my face and I already see results after just the first treatment. Erin was honest about every treatment and I felt completely at ease through the procedure. I will definitely be referring my friends and family, and even have already some friends that have been my since initial visit. I am looking forward to return for my follow up treatment next week!!! I had always wanted to try cryotherapy and body sculpting but was nervous to do it. Erin, the general manager, made me feel at ease with the services, walking me through all the details including how the treatments work and what to expect. The bathrobes and facilities are clean, comfortable and cozy (definitely an added plus). Erin and her staff truly made the experience wonderful and really went the extra length to make me happy as a customer.
