The last two weeks, LEE has been calling me every day threatening to take "the next collection step" for the $40.00. Mind you, this is 2021! REALLY??? So, left her a message if they are that hard-up for the $40.00 I will pay next Friday. Lee left ANOTHER message the next day, acknowledging the voicemail, and asked for the $40.00 again. Lee left ANOTHER message the NEXT day. Called her, hmmm, they could not find her. Poor Receptionist, told her message (not nice) to tell Lee. They must be really hard-up. I honestly am so scared that I waited way too long for any simple visit. The whole team worked with us from the moment we walked in the door. Dr. Dawson and his assistant were excellent communicators and eased my high anxiety through constant reassurances and I must tell you I was so happy and so impressed during the whole process of removing 10 teeth! I was awake during the whole time. It was close to 4 hours of surgery, and it was awesome! The care during the surgery was so wonderful and I was cool as a cucumber. The gas used and local shots were administered with my relaxation and pain level in check. I go back in for a bridge and a couple tooth inserts. I'll follow up with the next visit. I was given an estimate around $600 for my visit in April, only to be hit with a shocking $2,500 bill afterwards which was received in late June. Since July, I've been trying to get answers, and instead I have been met with rudeness, avoidance, and zero accountability from the front office. I repeatedly asked to speak with the doctor and was told he "does not talk on the phone with patients." At my follow up cleaning in September, I confronted him directly about the ongoing billing issues and the dismissive treatment I'd been getting. He told me, "We will get this taken care of," and took every document I brought - the estimate, the bills, phone logs - everything. I finally thought someone was taking this seriously. Instead, nothing changed. A few weeks later, I received the exact same $2,500 bill with no explanation, no update, nothing. When I called again, a staff member offered a payment plan but then told me the amount I could actually afford was not accepted by the doctor - he needed double the monthly payment. When I asked for time to figure things out, communication suddenly stopped. My calls were not returned, my messages were ignored, and even my email received no response. I was calling weekly with no progress. Today, after months of trying to resolve this with the office directly, I found out they sent my bill to collections without notifying me. After everything, this was how they chose to handle it. I have never dealt with such poor communication, lack of follow- through, and disregard for patient's concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office to anyone.
