Fabulous event ! It was great to meet Chef Ken and learn more about this underrated Asian restaurant. The food was delicious and plentiful! I was stuffed. Oysters, Poke, S&P shrimp (I ate the whole shrimp!) Flounder, Waygu beef, spicy Lamb WOW! The wine parings were spot on and a great way to accompany this wonderful 4 course meal. The desert was heavenly.

8/19/26 Once the event show up , I knew I had to sign up! Good quality and full of flavor dishes. Truly appreciate the time and effort CM Michael and staff put in.. A special menu is prepared for us.. First course- ahi tuna poke- chefs kiss.. so flavorful... smooth .. Salt & pepper shrimp - big and crispy.. Steamed oyster- I passed but presentation looked yummy.. Flounder with XO sauce- really nicely battered.. Wagyu shaking beef-peppery and tender- Garlic noodles- lots of garlic and long noodles.. Served with snap peas--tender and sweet- Spicy lamb -I'm not a lamb person.. but omg- tender pieces sauces are just spot on.. Garlic fried rice-perfect and fluffy.. The wine pairings were great and informative-- Coconut panda cotta with mango purée. What I enjoyed most: meeting other Yelper's.. Looking forward to the next Dinner Party!

I have never been to Crawfish so I wasn't sure what to expect. This is such a cute little restaurant owned and ran by the chief. The food here is absolutely amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection! The ahi and shrimp were full of flavor. The oysters melt in your mouth. The rice was packed with flavor. The spicy Lamb was phenomenal. The noodles were beyond. I will definitely be back for happy hour and for a meal with the family. Thanks for organizing such an incredible event! I have a feeling that this will be one of my new favorite go to's.

Wow, thanks again to Michael T and the team (welcome, Emma W!) for these always thoughtful, always amazing experiences! And thank you to Crawfish Asian Cuisine's owner and staff for their warmth and generosity! From the name of the restaurant, I would have expected a seafood boil, but instead we received a wide array of (very generously portioned) Chinese and Asian food. Everyone at the table was amazed at the size and tenderness of the oysters, the crispy, thin skin of the shrimp, and the tenderness of the wagyu--not to mention the super yummy garlic noodles! There was actually a lot more, too. And delicious wine pairings! And dessert! Plenty of food to take home, along with cool Yelp chopsticks and a wine charm. What a special evening. It was really fun to meet new Yelpers, and our table had a great time swapping recommendations (and sharing which family members we most looked like). Pretty sure Reno has the best Yelp Elite experiences, hands down!

The food exceeded all expectations, and along with the wine, each dish had its own distinct and unique flavors, and they were all very delicious. And of course, what really blew me away and made the night were the giant oysters. Thank you so much for this amazing experience

I always love sitting at a mystery table, but tonite it was sit anywhere. I knew my new friend Aileen was going to be there so I was hoping to find her and I did! My table was fantastic and I love meeting new people! Lynn, Methinee, Kelly, Jenn. The service was superb and a big thank you to Hennessy for keeping the wine flowing. All the wines were delicious so kudos to Anna for pairing the meal! Thank you to the owner and the staff for the wonderful meal and outstanding services and for Michael T coordinating a fantastic location and for my yelp invite! I've never been to a yelp event I didn't like, they are all top notch and first class!! I had never been to this restaurant before! It was easy to find and plenty of parking near the Reno Costco! I love shrimp but I do have a food allergy to nuts so I popped my Benadryl and carried on by removing the skin from the shrimp. The shrimp were cooked to perfection!! I really enjoyed the fried won ton chips with the raw fish, very tasty not sure what I was eating but I would definitely have it again!!! I love wine!! The Daou Sauvignon Blanc was delicious and it paired perfectly with the steamed oysters. I had to ask for another taste because it pairs brilliantly with my second oyster!! The oyster was huge and the sauce was delightful!!! The fried flounder paired perfectly with the Daou Rose and the vegetables were light & crispy!! My next favorite was the shaking beef so tender and loads of goodness!! The noodles and rice were perfectly prepared with tasty flavors. I'm not big on lamb, but my husband would have loved it and I took a piece home for him!!! Thank you for the care packages!! I've had the Hahn wines before and they're always a favorite!! The mango desert just melted in my mouth and what a great ending to the perfect dinner party!! Thank you all!! Look forward to the next yelp event!!

Crawfish Asian Cuisine Wine Dinner NEXT LEVEL ELITE.Where do I even begin? Let's start with the wine. Sommelier Anna is an absolute legend! I learned a new trick tonight: keep your mouth open when smelling the wine. New level unlocked! And my favorite, DAOU Rosé, was one of the selections pure heaven in a glass. Now, the food. I will be dreaming about those massive oysters. The poke was incredibly flavorful, and somehow every dish just kept getting better and better. Each course was thoughtful, beautifully executed, and packed with flavor. Our host and owner the heart he pours into sharing his family's recipes with our community is everything The team provided impeccable service, and my dining companions were top-notch, making an already incredible evening even better. This was truly an exceptional dining experience. Michael you've done it again I can't wait to come back. Is today too soon?

Dinner Party!! It was a fantastic Yelp Elite night at Crawfish Asian Cuisine. We were definitely treated as VIPs the whole evening. The set menu had incredible courses with wine pairings from Anna, the sommelier. Course 1--Comprised of ahi tuna poké with crispy wontons (great flavors and fresh tuna), salt+pepper shrimp (loved the crispiness and so tasty) and steamed oysters. This is only the second time I've ever had oysters---they were tender and I especially loved the soy, ginger and scallion sauce. The wine pairing with Daou Sauvignon Blanc was excellent. Course 2--The flounder with XO sauce was my favorite of the night. The flounder was perfectly coated and stir fried with onions, red and green bell peppers and the XO sauce had the best flavor!! Fantastic fish. The wine pairing of Daou Rosé was excellent. Course 3--Wagyu Shaking Beef with garlic noodles and Spicy Lamb with garlic rice, served with delicious veggies...peas and bok choy. These two dishes were also incredible and delicious. The flavors of the shaking beef was savory in combination with the delectable garlic noodles made it comfort food. I also found the same feeling of comfort food with the spicy lamb (which happily was not too spicy at all!) which had hints of a sweet and sour sauce vibe. Subtle and savory too. The lamb was mild and tender and did not have a strong overpowering lamb flavor, which made it more appealing. Interestingly, the green and red bell peppers and onions were included 2 of the dishes. Fan favorite--our whole table loved the garlic rice! The Hahn Cabernet Sauvignon was also an excellent pairing and complimented the food deliciously. Course 4-The Coconut Panna Cotta with Mango Pureé was the best restaurant dessert I've had all summer. It was light, just right in sweetness, delicate and very satisfying as an end to the dinner. I loved the family-style service of the courses. Each dish was beautifully plated and portions were generous. Our table had great discussions of each dish presented. The staff was very efficient and kind in serving all of the courses. They were busy the entire time making sure serving 50 elites that took up all of the seats in the restaurant were all attended to. Thank you to this special team that made this wonderful event happen...Chef/Owner Ken truly demonstrated his culinary talents and was a wonderful host, Sommelier Anna gave enlightening descriptions of the wines and a huge thank you to Michael, who is the best Yelp CM! Thank you all for a very special night full of camaraderie and delicious food! We'll be back! And we've recently been to Chef Ken's new restaurant 4 Seasons and we loved the food there too!

The appearance inside and out is that of a typical unassuming Asian restaurant. Which I liked. It was a comfortable feel inside. As soon as I read the preset menu I knew we would be in for a treat. Everything sounded so amazing. My favorite dish of the night was the garlic noodles, it is something so simple but it was done so well. Everything else was also delicious, although as my preference I do not like the shell being left on the shrimp.

    Dinner at Crawfish Asian Cuisine

I had the opportunity to attend a Yelp Dinner Party at Crawfish Asian Cuisine, and this place genuinely impressed me! It's a small, intimate restaurant with a clean, modern atmosphere. Every dish was beautifully presented, and the food lived up to the presentation. We started with the ahi tuna poke, salt and pepper shrimp, and steamed oyster. The poke was incredible--soft, delicate, and not overly fishy. The sesame oil and crispy wonton chips brought everything together beautifully. Even my wife, who is hesitant about raw fish, loved it. Favorite of the night! The salt and pepper shrimp were crispy and delicious. They could have used a little more seasoning and were slightly dry, but still very enjoyable. The steamed oyster looked intimidating but ended up being one of the evening's biggest surprises. The ginger, scallions, and light soy complemented it perfectly. I could easily come back, order four of these, and enjoy them with a cold beer. The flounder with XO sauce was a true gem. It was lightly breaded, delicate, and didn't have a heavy fish taste. It absorbed the peppers, scallions, and savory sauce beautifully, while the firm vegetables added great contrast. The DAOU rosé pairing helped cut through the richness and refreshed the palate. The Wagyu shaking beef was another standout. The beef was extremely tender and perfectly seasoned, but the crisp vegetables nearly stole the show. The garlic noodles were also excellent--thick, chewy, and coated in a light garlic sauce without being too heavy. The spicy lamb was delicious and incredibly tender. My wife normally does not care for lamb, yet even she said she would order it again. It does have that distinct lamb flavor, so it's definitely for people who enjoy lamb. The crisp green peas served alongside it helped break up the richness. One of my biggest recommendations: order some vegetable dishes for the table. You'll thank me later. We finished with the coconut panna cotta and mango purée. It was light, flavorful, refreshing, and the perfect ending to a rich meal. I would absolutely return. It's upscale enough for a nice dinner without feeling overly formal and would be a great place to bring visiting friends or family. There were plenty of hits throughout the evening, and everyone at our table left happy. Won't regret checking it out.

What an incredible event! Michael and the Crawfish Asian Cuisine team put so much hard work and passion into creating this wonderful experience. I haven't been able to stop talking about how delicious the food was, and I've already made happy hour plans to come back and share this exciting and delicious restaurant with friends and family! Starting with the appetizer, I don't think I've ever had a more flavorful and tender bite of ahi tuna in my life. I had a fun first, too! I'm so glad our table was open to trying the shrimp from head to tail--it did not disappoint. As a lover of garlic, I was thrilled that every dish was packed with a generous amount of it. I especially enjoyed the garlic fried rice and garlic noodles paired with the Wagyu Shaking Beef. Everything was incredibly flavorful, and you could really taste the care and effort that went into each dish.

This was a wonderfully orchestrated evening. From the start the space (which I had never been too) was cute, intimate and well setup. The first course of poke, oysters, and prawns was lovely and honesty the poke stole the show for me. It was well flavored and fresh and a highlight. I'll be honest I'm not a fan of cooked oysters but the portion was huge and the flavor of lemon grass and ginger was very tasty. The wagyu shaking beef and fried rice were really well done with savory flavors and cooked to perfection. Overall this was such a lovely event and I look forward to coming back to try new and tasty dishes from this neat spot!

Wow! What a spectacular event! This wasn't my first time visiting Crawfish Asian Cuisine as in the past I have had their seafood boil and garlic noodles. Everything was pretty impressive and filling. When we first got the appetizers I was so excited for this menu. Their poke was honestly one of the best poke I ever tasted with their poke in the marinade sauce and wonton chips. The salt and pepper prawns were a pretty good size and it was so savory. Lastly the oysters were humongous! Really liked the soy sauce with the oysters. With the entrees my favorite was the flounder as it gave a little crunch and the garlic noodles have always been a favorite of mines. Everything was delicious and appetizing. Thank you Yelp and Michael for another amazing Yelp event and bringing more awareness to different restaurants in Reno.

The food took much longer than anticipated to come out, it took 45 minutes for us to get our food. I had to ask one of the employees if I were food was ready. The food was ready. It was sitting waiting to be picked up by the waiter . We didn't have time left as we had to pick up our daughter from gymnastics class. We asked for a box to go, however, we did eat one of the entrées quickly. The chorizo eggs Benedict was my favorite. It was definitely the best. The potatoes were super crispy. The hollandaise sauce was to die for I really enjoyed that. Overall, the mimosa and the food, let's not forget the coffee cake, were really good. I am sure that they had delays as it was a Yelp event and it was super busy. I will definitely be back. I am looking forward to trying out their other food.

Dessert was a decadent chocolate cake with ice cream (paired with a port). This restaurant wasn't on my radar until this event and now it's one I cannot stop talking about and sharing with others. I joined the Enthusiasts Club Membership after dinner and have already had the opportunity to attend an exclusive, member-only event with the President & CEO of Uncle Nearest. Thank you Grafted, Jade, and the staff for the incredible experience. This was one of the best private Yelp dinners I have had the opportunity to enjoy. Your commitment in providing a top notch experience and welcoming us into your family through the act of grafting is heartwarming. Michael, thank you for always working so hard to bring such incredible opportunities like this to the Yelp Reno Community. I am grateful for all you do for Reno's elite community and at large.

Reading his story with his paintings as background, you're instantly immersed into the world of Van Gogh and everything else disappears. As we wandered through to the waterfall room, we watched as pieces passed by and then moved on to Van Gogh art coming to life as it literally was painted on walls, floors and pillars right before our eyes and smiling faces as scores of music and words played. This was a wonderfully, delightful experience. Thank you Reno Yelp, CM Michael T., Beyond Van Gogh, and my plus one Yelper Michael B aka hubby for a magical time!! Look forward to returning again soon with family and friends.

Just got home from experiencing "Beyond Van Gogh" with fellow elites and it is still "Neat to be…read moreElite". We were invited to the premier viewing of this immersive event and it was beyond amazing. Born way before our time, 1853, Van Gogh is famous for his artistic talent, use of color, quick broad brushstrokes, and painting real life scenes from memory. He was challenged by being mentally ill and everyone has heard the story of how he cut off his ear and sent it to a prostitute and later committing suicide by shooting himself. Van Gogh paved the way for expressionalistic art. My favorite of course is "Starry Night" and it was fun to recall my days in school, when art was still taught and not considered a "nice to have class". Great to see old elite friends and talk about.... food. And get hot tips on great digs around Reno. It's great to experience the perks of being elite and get the "royal treatment" such as our event tonight. Thank you Mike T and the presenters of this amazing exhibit!

2018. Part 2 Two…read moreweeks really meant dividing the review into two parts. Over the weekend I stopped in at one of my most favorite places- SÜP, for their RBW special trio of soups and a mini loaf of bread for $10. They have participated all seven years. I get this to go, and it becomes lunch for three days. Always delicious. Not on Monday, I finally got to Moo Dang. I am such a wimp when it comes to spicy, but I still enjoy Asian foods. The RBW special was Drunken Noodles (zero spice for me) and a Big Chang Beer for $10. The noodles still had fabulous flavor and the beer I sent to another table- cheers. Wednesday was continuing the RBW dine with friends. Erica and went to Zozo's for their over the top $30 RBW special. So many choices !!! Probably the best bargain during the event. Appetizer, soup or salad, main, and dessert all for $30. Oh, and don't forget their very addictive basket of garlic bread. Yep, easily two meals here. See separate Zozo's review for all the food. So indecisive and running out of time. Thursday I ran up to Skyline Kitchen and Vine. $30 for an adult beverage, appetizer, main and dessert. Craving a burger, I did the 8 oz Kobe Burger, topped with caramelized onions, white cheddar, and a steak sauce aioli. Check restaurant review for full food description. Another busy Friday, but Claudy came up from Carson to try the RBW $10 lunch special at Chihuahua's on South Virginia across from the Lexus dealer. Plenty of food for the price. Chips and salsa arrived first. Then platter of a beef enchilada and a chili Relleno with beans and rice. The meal was good, but nothing wowed me. And the food chilled off rather quickly. That didn't matter because the waitress took my plate before I was all thru. Claudy and I ordered each of the desserts. Both were very sweet. The place wasn't packed during lunch, but I did feel rushed. Saturday!! Oh no RBW is over. The fabulous finale is always the Chef Showdown. This year 6 chefs who participated in RBW sliced, diced and sautéed against each other for bragging rights of the best in Reno. They an hour to create a vegetarian plate using butternut squash, couscous, turmeric and pomegranate. Mmm the aromas that filled the air. The best part is you get to walk around all the kitchens and see how they cook and ask questions. Brett Moseley won best use of ingredients and Joe Bell won best plating and overall WINNER. Congrats to everyone!!! Now after two weeks of having so many fabulous food specials with lots of friends- I'm off to the gym. See you next year. Or in any locally owned restaurant. Remember- Break the Chain, Reno has fabulous food.

This year was the 7th Annual Reno Bites Restaurant Week, however for me, it was my very first…read moreparticipating in it. It was two weeks of absolute fun as my room mates and I made an effort to visit as many restaurants as we possibly could. I already made separate reviews for all the places we dined at for the Reno Bites Restaurant Week, but just in case you missed it, we visited: Liberty Food and Wine Exchange, Chihuahua's Cantina and Grill, Skyline Kitchen and Vine, Sierra St. Kitchen, Moo Dang, Shore Room, and lastly Fin and Filet. Of course, I would have loved to try them all out, but there's only so much we could visit with work and what not. I love food and I love to eat. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert, I love them all. Not to mention there are countless restaurants and new ones keep popping up. With Reno Bites Restaurant Week, there are those selected and highlighted restaurants advertising their specials for those two weeks, making it very appealing to want to try them out. I, personally, was able to dine at many restaurants that I always wanted to try out, but never got the chance to. It was not just the food, but the experience as a whole. For those selected restaurants, it was great exposure and they were able to showcase a little taste of what they were about. And for us, it was fun and delicious experience. Unfortunately, we missed the Chef Showdown because we were out of town for the weekend. But, there's always next year and many years to come. Overall, this being my first ever Reno Bites, I have to say I loved every minute of it. Prices were very affordable and the foods were all so tasty. Sad to think we'll have to wait a whole year until the next one rolls around, but when it does finally come, I'll be ready!

What a better way to…read morespend a Sunday Funday then with my family at home eating Mother's Day Brunch, sipping on Aperol Spritzers, while listening to CM Michael T and Vania of Prude & Boujee share with us all the wonderful things they are doing with self-care through her fantabulous shop. From sheet masks to gift sets plus the special items that we were able to purchase for this FUN event the Give Back Self Care Kit that donated one to a healthcare worker - SO ahhmazing!! We had FUN with one another via Zoom by introducing our special guests that joined us that day - LOVED seeing Yelpers that we are unable to see in person - all the smiling faces brought a little sunshine our way. We had a BLAST as Vania and her Mother directed us on how to put our sheetmasks on since we had a bit of a challenge with the Bro Masks for the guys in our fambam. We learned that if the men have facial hair that they put it on their neck instead (see pictures). Everyone danced around as we enjoyed the self-care portion of the Yelp FUN event. Papa and Granddaughter showed off her Prude & Boujee Ducky that we also learned that $5 of each one that you purchase goes towards a local college scholarship recipient - WOOT WOOT!! Anddd plenty of pictures were captured of the self-care shenanigans. Prude and Boujee website has fab products that can be sent to your doorstep - can't wait for my next one to arrive as delivery service is currently happening along with curbside too, so be sure to check that out. I LOVED, loved receiving my package in the mail, it smelled absolutely ahhhmazing!! Thank you to Vania, Prude & Boujee, CM Michael T, Yelp, the Yelpers that joined via Zoom, again LOVED seeing everyone - you brightened our day! Sunday Funday Mother's Day was an absolute BLAST!!
