08/01 around 9:20 AM. Daaang this place POPPIN! There was already a line when I walked in and people just kept on comin! I could not believe how generous the all star elite goodies were! They sell drink coffee do stuff coffee which I was so happy to see and I tried the banana bread latte. I love me some banana and I was a fan! I ordered the most popular breakfast sandwich which was the back 2 life on a cheddar jalepeno bagel. It was HUGE and kind of heavy for my tummy but it was delicious. For the bagels I chose 5 and who took my order just pick the 6th one. My bagels included: garlic, two everything, a pesto Asiago, a pesto everything and a cheddar jalapeño. I picked the jalapeño popper cream cheese and bought a tub of the garlic. The bagels were delicious, especially when toasted. I brought some to my sister and her fiancé. They happened to have some friend over so we all enjoyed a great breakfast! As busy as the morning was, Stephanie was smiling and super nice! If she was stressed she did not show it at all! She greeted everyone with a big smile and warm welcome! 10/10 will definitely bring everyone and come back again. A little bit of indoor seating and I didn't see any outdoor. A great place to pop in and pick up breakfast or grab for the office but a little too tight of quarters and a little too loud to really be able to enjoy a sit in breakfast / lunch. Thanks so much to Michael and Reno Tahoe bagel for this delicious event!

So grateful to try this new (to me) spot! The location of the establishment was easy to find, but parking was a bit of a nightmare. This is a busy shopping center. This is also a very busy spot! At 10am on a Monday morning it was full of patrons. Although very busy, the wait time to order at the register and to receive the food wasn't too bad and things moved quickly. I ordered an iced latte to drink and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It hit the spot! Sometimes specialty coffee drinks can be hit or miss for me at a restaurant not designated as a coffee shop. But this was a hit! For food, I ordered the Turkey Club on the everything bagel, the Back 2 Life on the pesto Asiago bagel, and a blueberry bagel with plain cream cheese. All items were outstanding! There was a great selection of bagels to choose from. The texture of the bagels were great - nice crunch on the outside with a soft interior. The portion sizes were very generous. The only critique I have is that the blueberry bagel didn't really taste like blueberry - the bagel itself was good and the cream cheese portion was spot on with cream cheese oozing out the sides with each bite, but the bagel almost tasted like whole wheat or plain flavor. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed every bite! Lastly, the interior was clean. Although very busy, there were some open seats available. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I love the family owned feel, with the kids playing in the back. I'd love to come back and try more of their items!

I can't even start to count how many times that I had sushi at Sushi Club when it was in this same location. Back then I couldn't have told you were the closest bakery or bagel place was. In Reno's growing bagel scene this one has a few highlights that set it apart. The mood is upbeat with good music playing, a warm atmosphere and brilliant displays. The seating and art work is very Tahoe-esque. My only criticism is that the dining room looked like they were in the middle of a busy rush instead of just opened. From some of the reviews coming in, it does sound like they were busy over the weekend, to be fair. I chose a sandwich that was great, a regular coffee was rich and smooth. The service was also high energy especially for 6:30 am. The employees knew menu well, helped with selections and were informative This was a nice way to discover an Elite Bakery and lunch spot that could otherwise get lost in the mix of bagel stands. Thank you to Reno Tahoe Bagel Co. and Michael T for hosting and organizing this for us all.

This was a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed the lox bagel and the blueberry bagel. We got a hot cocoa and a latte. Perfect pair. The lox bagel was nice and refreshing. The space is clean and good for large or small groups. Also easy to get in and out for quick orders. Amazing staff works here. They gave good ideas of the lox with garlic bagel. Also cut the blueberry bagel in half for my little one. Great place to take the family or to bring home for any guest that visit.

Yay for a gluten free bagel option!! I went around lunch so decided to get a sandwich bagel - salami cheddar and avocado. I liked it!! I would order it again but I also want to try a breakfast bagel too. I am not a coffee drinker but I decided to try their most popular, a banana bread latte - I'd probably be able to drink this because it did not taste like coffee! But I didn't wanna get high on caffeine lol Friendliest counter service and great interior, so different than the sushi club! Or was it something else after that?! Clean and open with great seating options AND some cute animals on the TV. My husband wasn't with me at this event due to work but he wants to meet me for lunch after me telling him about my experience and since we've been to the one in Tahoe and liked it... yay for coming to Reno! Thank you for having us, a solid event Michael T we appreciate you!

First time visiting Reno Tahoe bagel and after the first bite I fully understand why they're so popular. We arrived around 8:45am, there were several people who already ordered and no line. Ordering was easy and the cashier, Johnny, had great recommendations. We got our coffee and bagels very fast, you can see the staff works well together. The Munster was great, but the spinach pesto everything bagel was even better, how come no one has thought of that flavor before?! Out of all of the bagel joints in town, this is my new favorite

When the line goes outside the door, you know this place is gonna be good. I arrived and found parking right out front, greeted by a decent line at around 11 am. Though the line was long, it went by quickly. I used to come here when it was Tofu House, then it became Taste of Chicago, and now it's Tahoe Bagel. I loved what they did to the place. The decor was open and welcoming. I ordered a build-your-own lunch sandwich, Banana Bread Latte, and half a dozen assorted bagels. Originally, I ordered it on multigrain, but the cashier asked if I was sure I didn't want it on a bagel - what they're known for. I said sure, why not? I thought the bagel would be too big to fit in my mouth/messy. Oh boy, it was worth the mess and almost dislocating my jaw. The sandwich was one of the best bagel sandwiches I've ever had in my life. They don't skimp on the protein or veggies. The bagel was not hard. The flavors combined within the garlic and onion bagel were fantastic. The staff was friendly throughout the whole experience. The half dozen bagels I took home were gone in a day. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Thanks to Reno Tahoe Bagel Co., Yelp, and Michael for this lovely event and discovery!

Wow, what an awesome experience this was, great job Reno/Tahoe Bagel. Loved the way they were up on the list and ready to serve. Super friendly staff, great coffee, cozy spot, and holy crap don't even get me started on the bagels. Giving us every bagels to take home was a damn great business decision because I mean it when I say that these were the best bagels I've had anywhere, ever... this fully changed my go to bagel spot, I'll never go anywhere else in Reno now. The bagels aside, I gotta give a special shout out to the Philly, that thing is absolutely incredible. I could eat that daily.... Thanks for everything, killer opportunity to add a new favorite business to the list.

What a great way to enjoy a sandwich or bagel with a cap! very welcoming open seating with tables and lounging couches. The pastrami and corned beef was very thin snd after it was warmed, it was rather dry. The addition of a coffee bar made this a great experience. The bagel which was my favorite is the pesto asiago, what a great combo. I was hoping for a pumpernickel bagel but they don't make it. Very convenient parking in a huge lot. This is certainly a great place if you enjoy good bagels.

7/24/26- Happy to enjoy this event with my youngest boy is in town for his birthday! Actually the first time he's been with me to an Elite event.. Most generous Elite event I've been in a while! Love the atmosphere and the variety of bagels.. Staff was very pleasant.. Son was so happy to try an iced banana latte.. Veggie spread and a breakfast sandwich..with double meats.. he'll be full until dinner- Thanks Michael T. .. great event!

Tahoe Bagel is amazing !! This YELP event is the best of the best. We were greeted by over the top friendly employees of this locally owned business. They explained the A to Z's of the event and encouraged us to take full advantage of what's available regardless of the posted prices. Their facility was inviting inside & out. Everything was spotlessly clean & in good order. Even though table service is not provided, an employee visited our table 3 times to make sure everything was great. The food was 100% excellent. Thank you YELP & Tahoe Bagel

I was already a big fan of Tahoe Bagel Co. from visiting their South Lake Tahoe location. I usually order their breakfast sandwich with pork roll, and it's delicious. This time, though, I decided to venture off the breakfast menu and ordered the Proper Philly on a roll. It was every bit as delicious as their breakfast sandwich. The roll was soft, there was a generous portion of shaved ribeye, and the melted cheese brought it all together. I brought my family along, and they all opted for breakfast sandwiches. I didn't hear a single complaint--just plenty of "Yummy!" comments around the table. I also ordered their banana bread latte, which was very good, but, I remember the one in South Lake being better. Not sure why, it may just be me. I took home a tub of their veggie cream cheese. It had a great flavor and made the bagels I brought home even better over the next several days. A big thank you to Tahoe Bagel Co. and Yelp! for inviting us Yelpers to enjoy such wonderful food. I'll definitely be back!

Firstly thank you so much to Reno Tahoe Bagel for putting this together! We showed up on a busy Saturday morning and it was clear that they were running low on a lot of flavors, but we were able to get the last few that we had wanted to try. I got the back 2 life sandwich with bacon, sausage and provolone and this was arguably the best bagel sandwich I've ever had. The touch of hot sauce is what perfects the sandwich. I got a cinnamon raisin bagel with strawberry cream cheese to go as well as a sugar-free vanilla latte. Thank you so much Micheal and Reno Tahoe Bagel! We will be back! This location is so close to my office so I think I've found my new go to breakfast spot.

We ordered our food. I ordered the chorizo eggs Benedict and my husband ordered the smoked ham eggs Benedict. I also ordered a mimosa and my husband ordered and lagger. Once we place our order, they gave us a number and we were free to sit wherever we wish. We decided to sit outside as it was pretty busy inside. The food took much longer than anticipated to come out, it took 45 minutes for us to get our food. I had to ask one of the employees if I were food was ready. The food was ready. It was sitting waiting to be picked up by the waiter . We didn't have time left as we had to pick up our daughter from gymnastics class. We asked for a box to go, however, we did eat one of the entrées quickly. The chorizo eggs Benedict was my favorite. It was definitely the best. The potatoes were super crispy. The hollandaise sauce was to die for I really enjoyed that. Overall, the mimosa and the food, let's not forget the coffee cake, were really good. I am sure that they had delays as it was a Yelp event and it was super busy. I will definitely be back. I am looking forward to trying out their other food.

As we wandered through to the waterfall room, we watched as pieces passed by and then moved on to Van Gogh art coming to life as it literally was painted on walls, floors and pillars right before our eyes and smiling faces as scores of music and words played. This was a wonderfully, delightful experience. Thank you Reno Yelp, CM Michael T., Beyond Van Gogh, and my plus one Yelper Michael B aka hubby for a magical time!! Look forward to returning again soon with family and friends.

Just got home from experiencing "Beyond Van Gogh" with fellow elites and it is still "Neat to be…read moreElite". We were invited to the premier viewing of this immersive event and it was beyond amazing. Born way before our time, 1853, Van Gogh is famous for his artistic talent, use of color, quick broad brushstrokes, and painting real life scenes from memory. He was challenged by being mentally ill and everyone has heard the story of how he cut off his ear and sent it to a prostitute and later committing suicide by shooting himself. Van Gogh paved the way for expressionalistic art. My favorite of course is "Starry Night" and it was fun to recall my days in school, when art was still taught and not considered a "nice to have class". Great to see old elite friends and talk about.... food. And get hot tips on great digs around Reno. It's great to experience the perks of being elite and get the "royal treatment" such as our event tonight. Thank you Mike T and the presenters of this amazing exhibit!

2018. Part 2 Two…read moreweeks really meant dividing the review into two parts. Over the weekend I stopped in at one of my most favorite places- SÜP, for their RBW special trio of soups and a mini loaf of bread for $10. They have participated all seven years. I get this to go, and it becomes lunch for three days. Always delicious. Not on Monday, I finally got to Moo Dang. I am such a wimp when it comes to spicy, but I still enjoy Asian foods. The RBW special was Drunken Noodles (zero spice for me) and a Big Chang Beer for $10. The noodles still had fabulous flavor and the beer I sent to another table- cheers. Wednesday was continuing the RBW dine with friends. Erica and went to Zozo's for their over the top $30 RBW special. So many choices !!! Probably the best bargain during the event. Appetizer, soup or salad, main, and dessert all for $30. Oh, and don't forget their very addictive basket of garlic bread. Yep, easily two meals here. See separate Zozo's review for all the food. So indecisive and running out of time. Thursday I ran up to Skyline Kitchen and Vine. $30 for an adult beverage, appetizer, main and dessert. Craving a burger, I did the 8 oz Kobe Burger, topped with caramelized onions, white cheddar, and a steak sauce aioli. Check restaurant review for full food description. Another busy Friday, but Claudy came up from Carson to try the RBW $10 lunch special at Chihuahua's on South Virginia across from the Lexus dealer. Plenty of food for the price. Chips and salsa arrived first. Then platter of a beef enchilada and a chili Relleno with beans and rice. The meal was good, but nothing wowed me. And the food chilled off rather quickly. That didn't matter because the waitress took my plate before I was all thru. Claudy and I ordered each of the desserts. Both were very sweet. The place wasn't packed during lunch, but I did feel rushed. Saturday!! Oh no RBW is over. The fabulous finale is always the Chef Showdown. This year 6 chefs who participated in RBW sliced, diced and sautéed against each other for bragging rights of the best in Reno. They an hour to create a vegetarian plate using butternut squash, couscous, turmeric and pomegranate. Mmm the aromas that filled the air. The best part is you get to walk around all the kitchens and see how they cook and ask questions. Brett Moseley won best use of ingredients and Joe Bell won best plating and overall WINNER. Congrats to everyone!!! Now after two weeks of having so many fabulous food specials with lots of friends- I'm off to the gym. See you next year. Or in any locally owned restaurant. Remember- Break the Chain, Reno has fabulous food.

This year was the 7th Annual Reno Bites Restaurant Week, however for me, it was my very first…read moreparticipating in it. It was two weeks of absolute fun as my room mates and I made an effort to visit as many restaurants as we possibly could. I already made separate reviews for all the places we dined at for the Reno Bites Restaurant Week, but just in case you missed it, we visited: Liberty Food and Wine Exchange, Chihuahua's Cantina and Grill, Skyline Kitchen and Vine, Sierra St. Kitchen, Moo Dang, Shore Room, and lastly Fin and Filet. Of course, I would have loved to try them all out, but there's only so much we could visit with work and what not. I love food and I love to eat. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert, I love them all. Not to mention there are countless restaurants and new ones keep popping up. With Reno Bites Restaurant Week, there are those selected and highlighted restaurants advertising their specials for those two weeks, making it very appealing to want to try them out. I, personally, was able to dine at many restaurants that I always wanted to try out, but never got the chance to. It was not just the food, but the experience as a whole. For those selected restaurants, it was great exposure and they were able to showcase a little taste of what they were about. And for us, it was fun and delicious experience. Unfortunately, we missed the Chef Showdown because we were out of town for the weekend. But, there's always next year and many years to come. Overall, this being my first ever Reno Bites, I have to say I loved every minute of it. Prices were very affordable and the foods were all so tasty. Sad to think we'll have to wait a whole year until the next one rolls around, but when it does finally come, I'll be ready!

Sunday Funday Mother's Day facials at home with Yelpers via Zoom - I AM IN!! What a better way to…read morespend a Sunday Funday then with my family at home eating Mother's Day Brunch, sipping on Aperol Spritzers, while listening to CM Michael T and Vania of Prude & Boujee share with us all the wonderful things they are doing with self-care through her fantabulous shop. From sheet masks to gift sets plus the special items that we were able to purchase for this FUN event the Give Back Self Care Kit that donated one to a healthcare worker - SO ahhmazing!! We had FUN with one another via Zoom by introducing our special guests that joined us that day - LOVED seeing Yelpers that we are unable to see in person - all the smiling faces brought a little sunshine our way. We had a BLAST as Vania and her Mother directed us on how to put our sheetmasks on since we had a bit of a challenge with the Bro Masks for the guys in our fambam. We learned that if the men have facial hair that they put it on their neck instead (see pictures). Everyone danced around as we enjoyed the self-care portion of the Yelp FUN event. Papa and Granddaughter showed off her Prude & Boujee Ducky that we also learned that $5 of each one that you purchase goes towards a local college scholarship recipient - WOOT WOOT!! Anddd plenty of pictures were captured of the self-care shenanigans. Prude and Boujee website has fab products that can be sent to your doorstep - can't wait for my next one to arrive as delivery service is currently happening along with curbside too, so be sure to check that out. I LOVED, loved receiving my package in the mail, it smelled absolutely ahhhmazing!! Thank you to Vania, Prude & Boujee, CM Michael T, Yelp, the Yelpers that joined via Zoom, again LOVED seeing everyone - you brightened our day! Sunday Funday Mother's Day was an absolute BLAST!!
