My mom and I came to Tahoe Bagel for a Yelp Experience and really enjoyed it! We split the Reubenowitz and a spicy iced chai latte, and then of course had to grab some bagels to take home too. We got two jalapeño cheese, two spinach pesto, a blueberry and an everything, along with the jalapeño popper cream cheese. Everything we tried was really good, but the star of the show for me was definitely the spicy iced chai latte. It was PERFECT! Stopped by Reno Tahoe Bagel Co. for breakfast and I'm in love. I got the gluten-free bagel and it was delicious. The texture and flavor were so good, which is hard to find with gluten-free options. Johnny helped us out and was super nice. He took the time to go over all our options and answer our questions. We ended up taking home some extra bagels and the garlic spread because everything looked so good. We got there around 8 AM and it was pretty empty, but by 9 AM the place was packed. We had no problem finding a spot when we arrived, but later it was hard to find a seat. The place was clean, well organized, and I liked that they had water available for customers. This was such a good experience and honestly a great way to get me through the door because I had been meaning to try Tahoe Bagel for a while. The staff was super friendly, the place was clean and had a really laid-back vibe, and everything I tried was good. The Back 2 Life with bacon and pork roll was probably my favorite. It was filling, had a ton of flavor, and the mix of bacon, pork roll, hash brown, egg, and hot sauce just worked. I also have to shout out the woman at the counter for convincing me to try the jalapeño popper cream cheese on my jalapeño and cheese bagel. I thought doubling down on jalapeño sounded a little crazy, but she was absolutely right. That cream cheese was delicious and might be my new favorite. I already knew there was a good chance my wife was going to end up taking my sandwich, so I went ahead and bought a lox too, and I'm glad I did. Smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers, onion, tomato, and dill on a fresh bagel is hard to beat, and theirs was really good. Even the iced mocha was good, and I'm not much of a coffee drinker. 08/01 around 9:20 AM. Daaang this place POPPIN! There was already a line when I walked in and people just kept on comin! I could not believe how generous the all star elite goodies were! They sell drink coffee do stuff coffee which I was so happy to see and I tried the banana bread latte. I love me some banana and I was a fan! I ordered the most popular breakfast sandwich which was the back 2 life on a cheddar jalepeno bagel. It was HUGE and kind of heavy for my tummy but it was delicious. For the bagels I chose 5 and who took my order just pick the 6th one. My bagels included: garlic, two everything, a pesto Asiago, a pesto everything and a cheddar jalapeño. I picked the jalapeño popper cream cheese and bought a tub of the garlic. The bagels were delicious, especially when toasted. I brought some to my sister and her fiancé. They happened to have some friend over so we all enjoyed a great breakfast! As busy as the morning was, Stephanie was smiling and super nice! If she was stressed she did not show it at all! She greeted everyone with a big smile and warm welcome! 10/10 will definitely bring everyone and come back again. A little bit of indoor seating and I didn't see any outdoor. A great place to pop in and pick up breakfast or grab for the office but a little too tight of quarters and a little too loud to really be able to enjoy a sit in breakfast / lunch. So grateful to try this new (to me) spot! The location of the establishment was easy to find, but parking was a bit of a nightmare. This is a busy shopping center. This is also a very busy spot! At 10am on a Monday morning it was full of patrons. Although very busy, the wait time to order at the register and to receive the food wasn't too bad and things moved quickly. I ordered an iced latte to drink and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It hit the spot! Sometimes specialty coffee drinks can be hit or miss for me at a restaurant not designated as a coffee shop. But this was a hit! For food, I ordered the Turkey Club on the everything bagel, the Back 2 Life on the pesto Asiago bagel, and a blueberry bagel with plain cream cheese. All items were outstanding! There was a great selection of bagels to choose from. The texture of the bagels were great - nice crunch on the outside with a soft interior. The portion sizes were very generous. The only critique I have is that the blueberry bagel didn't really taste like blueberry - the bagel itself was good and the cream cheese portion was spot on with cream cheese oozing out the sides with each bite, but the bagel almost tasted like whole wheat or plain flavor. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed every bite! Lastly, the interior was clean. Although very busy, there were some open seats available. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I can't even start to count how many times that I had sushi at Sushi Club when it was in this same location. Back then I couldn't have told you were the closest bakery or bagel place was. In Reno's growing bagel scene this one has a few highlights that set it apart. The mood is upbeat with good music playing, a warm atmosphere and brilliant displays. The seating and art work is very Tahoe-esque. My only criticism is that the dining room looked like they were in the middle of a busy rush instead of just opened. From some of the reviews coming in, it does sound like they were busy over the weekend, to be fair. I chose a sandwich that was great, a regular coffee was rich and smooth. The service was also high energy especially for 6:30 am. The employees knew menu well, helped with selections and were informative This was a nice way to discover an Elite Bakery and lunch spot that could otherwise get lost in the mix of bagel stands. This was a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed the lox bagel and the blueberry bagel. We got a hot cocoa and a latte. Perfect pair. The lox bagel was nice and refreshing. The space is clean and good for large or small groups. Also easy to get in and out for quick orders. Amazing staff works here. They gave good ideas of the lox with garlic bagel. Yay for a gluten free bagel option!! I went around lunch so decided to get a sandwich bagel - salami cheddar and avocado. I liked it!! I would order it again but I also want to try a breakfast bagel too. I am not a coffee drinker but I decided to try their most popular, a banana bread latte - I'd probably be able to drink this because it did not taste like coffee! First time visiting Reno Tahoe bagel and after the first bite I fully understand why they're so popular. We arrived around 8:45am, there were several people who already ordered and no line. When the line goes outside the door, you know this place is gonna be good. I arrived and found parking right out front, greeted by a decent line at around 11 am. Though the line was long, it went by quickly. I used to come here when it was Tofu House, then it became Taste of Chicago, and now it's Tahoe Bagel. I loved what they did to the place. The decor was open and welcoming. I ordered a build-your-own lunch sandwich, Banana Bread Latte, and half a dozen assorted bagels. Originally, I ordered it on multigrain, but the cashier asked if I was sure I didn't want it on a bagel - what they're known for. I said sure, why not? I thought the bagel would be too big to fit in my mouth/messy. Oh boy, it was worth the mess and almost dislocating my jaw. The sandwich was one of the best bagel sandwiches I've ever had in my life. They don't skimp on the protein or veggies. The bagel was not hard. The flavors combined within the garlic and onion bagel were fantastic. The staff was friendly throughout the whole experience. What a great way to enjoy a sandwich or bagel with a cap! very welcoming open seating with tables and lounging couches. The pastrami and corned beef was very thin snd after it was warmed, it was rather dry. The addition of a coffee bar made this a great experience. I was already a big fan of Tahoe Bagel Co. from visiting their South Lake Tahoe location. I usually order their breakfast sandwich with pork roll, and it's delicious. This time, though, I decided to venture off the breakfast menu and ordered the Proper Philly on a roll. It was every bit as delicious as their breakfast sandwich. The roll was soft, there was a generous portion of shaved ribeye, and the melted cheese brought it all together. I brought my family along, and they all opted for breakfast sandwiches. I didn't hear a single complaint--just plenty of "Yummy!" comments around the table. I also ordered their banana bread latte, which was very good, but, I remember the one in South Lake being better. Not sure why, it may just be me. I took home a tub of their veggie cream cheese. It had a great flavor and made the bagels I brought home even better over the next several days. We showed up on a busy Saturday morning and it was clear that they were running low on a lot of flavors, but we were able to get the last few that we had wanted to try. I got the back 2 life sandwich with bacon, sausage and provolone and this was arguably the best bagel sandwich I've ever had. The touch of hot sauce is what perfects the sandwich. Reno Tahoe Bagel made this Elite All Star golden at my office today. 6:15 am was the perfect time to stroll in for this experience. It was just Sabrina B and me, no long line and friendly service. I started my experience with a tall iced mocha. The perfect chill and caffeine on this warm morning already. Ordered the Bacon Turkey on an egg bagel for lunch later. It was huge and delicious, so I shared with a co worker. I scored big time with the office when walking in at 7 am with fresh warm bagels and a container of silky cream cheese. Scored double points when I checked to see if RTB had gluten free bagels. And yes Yelpers they do !!! The additional sweetness to this event and future returns is that they are just 4 blocks from the office. Kudos to the staff at Reno Tahoe Bagel for extending such a gracious offering to do many Elites and over almost a two week period. Great find CM Michael T, I live and work so close I didn't see it hidden in the corner. RTB is located on Moana in the Independence Square shopping center. With so many delicious options, I was completely overwhelmed, but she patiently helped me decide. This is my second visit and I'm a boring bagel eater, but not today! I had the Back 2 life breakfast sandwich and it was the biggest bagel sandwich I have ever seen! It had egg, hash brown, sausage, bacon pepper jack cheese on a jalapeño cheddar, it was incredible and I could only eat half. Best way to describe the sandwich was a complete meal in one bite! They have very cool merch and a large display case to see all of the fantastic bagel flavors. We ended up ordering the tri-tip sandwich on a bagel, the banana bread latte, and I had them throw together a random assortment for my half dozen with cream cheese. We also added on a bacon and cheese bagel for the kids and a sticker to rep Tahoe Bagel Co. around town! I was shocked by the pricing here. Very reasonable! Totally worth it. The tri-tip was so well done, sliced so perfectly thin, and the cheese and herbs they add on make for a perfectly balanced but still satisfying sandwich. The banana bread latte was good. A bit sweet for me and not a ton of banana flavor, but a good speciality drink nonetheless. I was super stoked on getting to take home a half dozen with their fresh cream cheese. This event was my first time trying Reno Tahoe Bagel! It's been on my list for months, and I'm so glad this event got me in the door! The employee taking orders was super friendly and gave amazing recommendations! I was torn between two bagels for my free bagel & cream cheese, and her honesty was so refreshing! She recommended the blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese - amazing choice! I loved that the strawberry cream cheese didn't taste artificial at all & was noticeably made in house! I ordered the Oatmeal Cookie Latte and it was great! One of my biggest issues with other bagel places in town is that their bagels are great but their coffee really falls short. That is not the case at Reno Tahoe Bagel! I can't wait to try some of their other speciality drinks! Overall satisfaction with the EVENT 5/5 The Event: FANTASTIC! Loved the flexibility of being able to choose when to come in as well as to bring my family. I got my free things and then purchased a number of items for my kids and husband. The Beverage: I was excited to try their spicy chai latte as my free beverage as it was made with a concentrate I had never tried before, "Maya" (I've tried many chai latte versions, from a variety of the franchise coffee shops in the area to the store bought concentrates such as Oregon Chai and Tazo brand). Their version of spicy was a really cool experience. Instead of hitting you right away it had a slow burn. It wasn't your typical "spicy" as in extra ginger and cinnamon, etc. but more like an actual spice-- honestly reminded me of one of those fancy cocktails! Though for my personal tastes, there was a strong note reminiscent of vanilla which isn't my preference for chai lattes. And as a heads up, it was fairly sweet (which I personally love but not everyone does). The Eats: The bagels were surprising, but good. I was surprised by the lack of heat in the bagel sandwich I got that came with hot sauce. The sauce wasn't particularly spicy and the jalapeño cheddar bagel had no spice to it (but somehow you could still taste a noticeable jalapeño flavor-- just without the spice). Now to clarify, I'm no spice feen; I find hot Cheetos too hot to enjoy, but I still enjoy some spice (think more inline with the jalapeño Cheetos-- if you've ever had those?). I dissected my bagel sandwich after taking a few bites to appreciate and evaluate each component. The bacon was thick, quality bacon with crunch whilst still reserving a bit of chew-- it was really nice. Not surprising given how they proudly displayed the meats (and salmon!) in their cooler upfront. The hash brown was crisp to perfection but unfortunately the flavor of the oil overwhelmed the potato a bit. The strawberry cream cheese wasn't artificial tasting. The cream cheese flavor was strong and remained a co-star to the strawberry flavoring. The Vibe: I loved the ambiance as well as the location. The inside felt very comfortable and welcoming. I even photographed their ceiling because it was cool! Would be a great place to meet up when not busy. I got there around 8:30AM on a Saturday and they got quite busy in no time. I think their location is very smart-- neighboring church will bring business as will the diner because whenever there's a line people might just decide to pop over for bagels instead. I peeped at the thermostat and saw that it was set to 69 which felt comfortable (it was going to be a high of 100 that day). Speaking of peeping, I LOVED the sight lines into the kitchen-- very cool. Next Time: On my next visit I really wanna try one of their specialty coffees (a drink with pistachio in it was competing for my attention with the spicy chai late I ended up getting). AWKWARD: I tipped, and I forget exactly what the gal taking orders said and/or did with her body language that gave me this impression, but I felt like she was implying a lot of us Yelp Elite visitors were not tipping and that she wasn't happy about it.... FYI to Owner: I also noticed they had a community posting board. I always like those but if I were a business I would use a locked case (I saw this at a restaurant in town recently), and charge like a $1 or $2 "service fee" per month. Great food, great environment, great service: one of my favorite Elite experiences so far! Easy parking in the shopping center lot. And a wonderful surprise to realize how close this location is to other places I visit frequently (definitely going into the regular breakfast/lunch rotation). Very smooth-running event. Greeted warmly by the counter staff and by owner Justin. The event details were clearly understood, and my name was on a list expected for today's time period. I ordered the lox breakfast sandwich, a cold brew, and two each of the cheddar jalapeno, sesame, and salt bagels. My husband ordered a BLT and a peach iced tea. We were mistakenly rung up on the same ticket, and the owner very kindly comped us the entire order! The lox special on a sesame bagel was 100% delicious and very generously sized. I was a little worried about proportions, but the flavors all balanced out perfectly. A very rich-tasting and delicious treat, and I had enough to take half home. Now let me talk about the bagels. These are REAL bagels, NY style. Thin exterior with a soft, chewy interior. Not a bread roll with a hole in it like some other bagels in the area. I enjoyed a Turkey Club on a sesame bagel for lunch. The serving of turkey, bacon and avocado was generous and overall the sandwich was quite good. As for the Banana Bread Latte, it had a nice touch of banana to let you know it was there and was a solid beverage to go with the sandwich. The store was larger than expected which left plenty of seating to accommodate the handful of parties present and was decorated with thematic artwork/murals. Washed it down with an iced Spiced Chai, perfect on a hot day! Also ordered half dozen to go. Keep in mind these bagels are big...only 3 fit in a gallon freezer bag! Reno Tahoe Bagel Co. is sooo yummy! I had the veggie sandwich on their parmesan bagel of the day with sun dried tomato cream cheese and got a spinach Asiago bagel with jalapeno cheddar cream cheese to go for the next day. I also had a cold brew that was tasty and necessary to get me going in the morning! My husband got the Back 2 Life and we got a blueberry lemon muffin for our kiddo. Everything was so good I have no notes other than we will be back soon! The service was great, there was a small mistake in our initial order and they fixed it quickly and with no issues once we pointed it out. No complaints in and out in 5 minutes. White mocha was delicious, and the "Back 2 Life" sammy slapped! The use real bacon, and it was a monster of a sammy could only eat half. The service was some younger dude who was very chill, nice, and easy to order from. On the smaller side, but big enough for a local breakfast bagel joint. Had an absolutely fantastic time grabbing my order from Tahoe Bagel! We were one of the first in the shop and were greeted and assisted like each customer is their favorite. I got the pork roll with cheddar on an egg bagel (hello New Jersey!!). Seriously, a pork roll egg bagel or a salt bagel with veggie spread are my two favorites so I am excited to have a local place that features it! The space was great with plenty of seating options to either eat or wait! The coffee tasted delicious and service was quick. Definitely will be stopping here for my bagel fix. read more

Tahoe Bagel was such a great surprise. I stopped in for lunch and ordered the Reuben on rye, and it was honestly one of the best Reubens I've had in a long time. I also grabbed a vanilla sweet cream cold brew, and it paired perfectly with lunch. The service was friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to help, and the food came out quick. Tahoe Bagel is a great addition to Reno! As someone who loves a bagel on the East Coast, I can say these tasted like an authentic East Coast bagel-- chewy on the inside with the perfect texture on the outside. I ordered the Turkey Club with turkey breast, avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion on a jalapeño cheddar bagel, and it was great. Everything tasted fresh, and the portion was large. Tahoe Bagel uses quality ingredients and is definitely worth the price. With it I had a pumpkin spice latte, which they carry year-round! What really stood out, though, was the service. The entire team was warm and welcoming, and the manager, Stephanie, was especially kind. I'm very happy Lake Tahoe Bagel Co is now also in Reno! I was headed to the airport early morning and it is conveniently 5 min from there so of course I had to stop by! Their breakfast sandwiches are ridiculously good and the bagel options are delish. I tried a classic sausage, egg and cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel and took a pesto Asiago bagel to go with their special tomato cream cheese. AMAZING. This place is an absolute YES for me! I am so happy to have them in town, and impressed by the excellent and hard working crew. Everything went so smooth for this event. Even though it was a packed house when we arrived, we were able to find a great spot to sit after placing our orders. We also met a new yelp friend; Diane towards the end of our visit. We all had a great time talking about the food, and future events that we're excited for. We also love their merch and dining area, very comfortable and welcoming. The coffee is incredible and that's because they offer coffee from Drink Coffee Do Stuff, who I am such a huge fan of! I forgot a picture of my coffee, but I tried the banana bread latte with 2% milk. I loved it, and it reminded me of the banana bread that my grandmother made every few months when we had bananas just lying around. For my bagel and spread i choose the cheddar parmesan with veggie spread. I already need to have it again very soon. It was perfect! The best cheddar parmesan anything that I've ever had! And the veggie spread is so good and has the right amount and size of assorted veggies. Absolutely amazing For my sandwich I decided to go with the turkey club on multigrain. I ordered it without onion, and should have asked for the ranch sauce on the side, or light. It was delicious, just super messy and sort of fell apart from the avocado and ranch together plus the large amount of turkey you get, which is amazing! Love Tahoe Bagel -- glad they're expanding to Reno! (I live a few blocks away from their outpost in Stateline and they're on my local weekly hit parade!). This shop is super new and clean, and the vibes are immaculate. The friendly cashier, John, recommended the Back 2 Life, a giant breakfast bagel complete with 2 proteins (I picked ham and avo), egg, and hash brown! SUPER GOOD. I also got an iced latte to keep me going for the day, the coffee is plenty great too, they know what they're doing with caffeine. :) Lastly I nabbed 6 bagels to go -- I love the jalepeno cheddar, wife loves poppy seed, and kid loves regular. My favorite happened to be the cheddar cheese and that is what I chose for my veggie sandwich which a veggie cream cheese spread. Soft bagel loaded with avocado, cucumbers, tomato, and sprouts. I had a white mocha. Coffee by "Drink coffee. Do stuff". Yep, and that is what I did. Coffee hit the spot and got my motor started on an early Saturday morning. Smooth execution. Bagels are the thing I miss the most since moving from New York City to Reno. It's difficult to find a thick, chewy and crispy on the outside bagel on this side of the country, so I walked in with low expectations. Wow, am I impressed! I ordered a pesto spinach everything bagel with sun-dried tomato spread, a pesto spinach everything bagel with the veggie spread and a nor'easter tri tip sandwich on egg everything bagel. All 3 bagels were delicious. While not as thick as a NY bagel, they had a really good chew when biting into them. The everything seasoning was on point. I do wish they had a bit more spread. The tri tip sandwich was really flavorful and full of the right amount of toppings. I also ordered an iced blackberry lavender mocha with oat milk which was absolutely delicious. Exactly the right amount of sweetness and flavor, which was great to start my day with. The cashier was extremely nice and friendly. She answered all my questions and just made the experience easy. I will be back especially as it's close to work and my coworkers will be really happy if I bring them back some breakfast! read more
