Southlake Envision Imaging clinic has been MOST accommodating, professional and time efficient every single time! I had at least 15 or more visits to help diagnose my serious conditions. Every time I have entered this location using my walker, I was & am still suffering from EXCRUCIATING pain & discomfort. My combined medical issues create this pain for at least 22 hrs of each and every of my days. Waiting, sitting, walking is extremely difficult for me, constantly. Southlake Envisions proficiency makes my visits much easier each and every time. The staff is attentive to helping me with the door when exiting and even assisting me to the back for each procedure every time. The simple & easy task of making my appointment, to the time waiting from check-in, to taking me back for each procedure, was ALWAYS made easy. They were not making special provisions for me alone, I noticed every patient from check in, to taking us back for the actual procedure, was little time. There were hardly any people waiting in the waiting room which makes me feel their scheduling system is on point. All the staff, from the office workers to the techs are kind, professional and so helpful when I needed assistance. Again not just for me, I noticed this overall for each patient! I HIGHLY recommend this location for any imaging needs... Kudos to all these employees and management!

They also have appointments after 5 which was great! They told me copay before visit then called me to remind me of my appt the next day. When I first walked in it was so nice seeing a very clean waiting area. I was greeted immediately. I had an MRI that day without contrast, followed by an MRI with contrast on my pelvis and lower back. I went in and told them I was beyond dehydrated and I already have horrific veins as it is. (For reference- anytime I've been inpatient they have to get nurses trained in sono guided venipuncture just to take blood. And even then I get stuck no less than 4 times. I'm not exaggerating. To have an IV set, they have to call in the PICC team to set a midline. Which oftentimes I've had to be stuck 2-3 times for that as well. Which really paints a picture if you know the skill of the PICC team.) I didn't have high hopes, to say the least. They were very quick to take me back. The gentleman who set my IV, even though I could tell he was nervous, remained reassuring to keep me relaxed. He joked with me and made me laugh. Which really helped. He did have to stick me twice, but this was no fault of his own. But... he got my TINY sclerotic vein on ONLY the second try!! Mind you, I am on some medicine that has caused me to have some tremors. So I'm very shakey. They also offered me a blanket if I needed one. Anyone who has had an MRI knows it's not quick, at all. You have to lay completely still for about an hour. I was in extreme pain. I cried the entire time. The team were amazing at reassuring me and just kept saying how sorry they were and just a little longer. I have never had such an amazing experience. I didn't catch the names of the people that day, but I hope you read this and know that I thank you.

The technician became very upset and informed me that customers are not supposed to open the van door. My first concern is that this protocol is not communicated anywhere in the appointment process. I reviewed my confirmation email, appointment instructions, and other communications, and there is no instruction telling customers not to open the van door, to wait outside until called, or to look for any readiness indicator.  When I asked how I was supposed to know this procedure, I was told it was clearly stated in the appointment email. It is not. My second concern is how the interaction was handled. I was treated as though I had knowingly violated an established rule when, in reality, I was following the arrival process I had come to understand through years of experience as a BodySpec customer. I have completed numerous scans over approximately three years, and technicians often do not open the door at the appointment time, and I have never seen any signage/indicator in the van window depicting whether the van is ready for the next client.   As a result, knocking and then opening the door after receiving no response had become the only practical way to determine whether the appointment was ready to begin.  Put simply, it is not reasonable to hold customers accountable for violating a procedure that was never communicated and is inconsistent with the experience BodySpec has repeatedly created for returning customers. My third concern is the justification that was given. The technician explained that she was alone in the van and did not know who I was or what my intentions were.  While I understand the importance of employee safety, that concern does not justify blaming a legitimate customer for failing to follow an unpublished protocol.  More importantly, the reasoning itself is difficult to reconcile with the situation. If unauthorized entry is considered a genuine safety concern, the solution should be clear instructions, visible signage, and/or physical controls such as a locked door. i.e., An undocumented customer procedure does little to address someone with actual bad intentions, while creating unnecessary conflict with paying customers who are simply trying to attend their appointments. A customer cannot reasonably be expected to comply with a rule that has never been communicated, and a person with malicious intent would be unlikely to follow that rule regardless. What is most disappointing is that this situation was entirely avoidable. A simple instruction in the appointment confirmation such as "Please do not open the van door. Wait outside until the technician invites you in" would have prevented the entire interaction. I have been a loyal customer for years, which is why this experience was so surprising and frustrating. Unfortunately, this interaction has significantly damaged my confidence in BodySpec. I hope the company will review both the customer communication process and the way situations like this are handled in the future so that other customers do not have a similar experience.

It took 2 nurses and 5 attempts to get my BP and Hayward told me I needed to go see a cardiologist and take it daily at home. Him and his office is lousy at handling office tasks and referrals. My insurance approved payment of a BP cuff from a medical supplier, just needed his order and signature but his office called the next day saying he wasn't ordering one and I could buy one over the counter. No explanation and now I see why. Melcher is my Medicare dr on record but I saw Hayward 1st. Guess if your dr didn't get you in 1st, tuff. Twice I've tried to get an appointment with my dr on record and 4/2026 was told they weren't taking new patients. REALLY HES MY DOCTOR. EVEN THE INSURANCE IS FLABBERGASTED. Then just tried again 6/9/2026 and they gave me 1 for next day, put me on hold, came back and told me they couldn't make the appointment as I hadn't seen Melcher and I was seeing Hayward his P.A.. The guy said I'd have to do a new patient so I told him I'd do the 6/29 and after another long hold I was told they couldn't make me an appointment. No reason. So my 6/22 appointment which no one has notified anyone of its closing will leave me with no doctor. I have now filed a 2nd grievance with my insurance. Yeah they type something here but they really don't give a crap. I spent 3 days in the hospital for BP 76/52 only for it to come back AGAIN, THAT IT WAS MY MEDICATION!!!! $1,050 later, the 2nd time from the previous one, with multiple specialists and test to be determined its medication. What the point of having a PCP when they are too incompetent to even look at your info!!!! This fool could have killed me!!!
