... the lady at the desk wasn't too happy ... but, then, neither was I ... the girl/young lady inside the test area was pleasant and she helped improve my attitude ... .... the test itself to cover a lump on the left side of my neck was easy ... would like to point out the there were no arm rests on either side of my body ... and, felt that trying to hold my arms in place was difficult ... the machine should have them and, if it does, there use would prevent any movement of the arms which could cause a movement in the neck/head area ... and, would also use a curved headrest ... why not go first class with the treatment if you have these pieces of equipment ... my guess is that the scan was O.K. but do not know what the results were ... my body ... should be my results ... if I can go to war, and did, believe that I can stand what the results were ... Went for a Facial CT w/o contrast. Front desk staff got me checked in quickly, going so far as letting me in the door to what looked a check out area so I wouldn't have to stand in line (I use a rollator). I only sat in the lobby for 10 minutes max before being called back for CT which was done quickly & professionally by a friendly tech. When I was finished, she walked with me all the way to the outside, opening & holding the doors for me until I was safely on the sidewalk. I received my CT report & was able to actually understand the results thanks to their new user friendly software. I highly recommend Gateway because they're fast, professional, yet still go out of their way to be kind & show that they care about each person. read more

I had an appointment at the weatherford hospital for xrays. While waiting in lobby, I overheard a conversation that they were unable to do any xrays. They did not communicate that with me in any way, just left me sitting there. When I asked hosp personnel about my appointment, I was told all systems and communications were down. Upon contacting my doctor while still there, they said I could go right over to Gateway. It was very convenient and they took me right away. Gateway was great. I appreciated their respect of my time. I'm 61 years old and Mamograms have always caused pain and discomfort in the past due to the amount of pressured required. With the newest technology at Gateway there was absolutely no pain or discomfort either physically or emotionally as the person that preformed the procedure was pleasant and professional. I received an email within a short time frame that linked me to my account where I was able to review my results. I prefered this to a phone call as I always answered with trepidation due to family history. The email link allowed me to veiw my results on my own. I'm not sure but would think if positive they would call. I would highly recommend Gateway. read more

Great local facility for diagnostic testing. They are very quick with low wait times. We have used them several times and all the staff, starting with check-in thru your procedure are always courteous and have a good attitude and do not make you feel they are rushed. When my doctor orders test they are very quick to to get them scheduled. After a morning appointment with our doctor we have been able to stay in town and get the test that afternoon which is very convenient since we live 25 miles away from town. They have great expanded hours which allows for testing before and after work or on the weekend. read more

I have been going to Gateway for all of my imaging needs, not because I choose to, but because that's where all of my Dr's seem to send me because they believe in Gateway. This time I got to choose because it was a workers comp claim and they were in the network. And I'm glad I chose them because they didn't let me down on service. I went to Gateway Diagnostic Imaging to get an ultrasound procedure. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment to allow for filling out new patient paperwork. After completing the required paperwork I had a short wait before being called for my procedure. The technician was friendly, professional and efficient. My procedure was completed and I was back on my way home in about 30 minutes. My experience was pleasant and I would gladly return to Gateway Diagnostic Imaging for any required procedures. read more

Upon arriving at Gateway, I noticed a clean, comfortable waiting area. Friendly staff helped me check in. My wait was short, maybe ten or so minutes.. and there were TVs showing footage of puppies and kittens playing, so I enjoyed that, while I waited. A very kind lady did my ultrasound. She talked to me the whole time, I'm certain to ease my obvious nerves. The whole experience was over in thirty-ish minutes, and was altogether pleasant. I had an endoscopy last week and felt somewhat nervous coming in. The staff were very welcoming and professional. I tend to get sick with anesthesia so for the first time ever, the medical staff really went the extra mile to give me everything to ensure I won't get sick. The nurses were very attentive instead of talking to each other they focused on me and letting me know what was going on each step of the way. When I arrived I was somewhat apprehensive about my upcoming procedure. Gateway's staff assured me all was painless and not uncomfortable. All went smoothly with my procedure and the staff was so helpful I could not thank them enough for their help to make my visit pleasant. Gateway Diagnostics is the most convenient imaging facility around. Not to mention the discounted rates for self-pay patients. It is nice they do not gouge you for hospital priced imaging and work with you on making payment arrangements. I have known them to stay as late as 9 pm to make sure every patient that required emergent imaging is seen. They make sure they have an authorization from your insurance company before having any test completed. All around great place!! read more

I love Gateway they are just a wonderful there. I go to the Weatherford office for the most part. Just recently I went for a lower back and hip MRI late one evening. The MRI Technician that night was so nice and helpful and he made sure I was as comfortable as possible during both of my MRIs. The Receptionist was also really nice and helpful at check in as well as the ladies who deal with insurance before I went. I would definitely recommend going to Gateway. read more

I went in for an open MRI because of a previous experience with an MRI where I almost died. The machine at the "other" imaging center overheated and my back felt like it was burning and blistering. I didn't sustain injuries but it scared me to death. The employees at Gateway showed me a brand new machine that had a bigger opening and took a lot less time to do the scans. I have used this company many times. Always prompt service at the receptionist desk. Never a long wait. I just had an MRI in March (2018) and they were able to tell me my total cost not just the co-pay before the procedure. That makes a difference to know the cost upfront before getting any procedure done. Simple, easy, quick. Very low wait time to be called. The results are sent promptly to my doctor. I was able to go straight to my doctor's office from Gateway after my scan, which was 5 minutes away, and by the time I saw my doctor approximately 10 minutes later, he had the results from Gateway. I do not have insurance and needed shoulder x-rays. My doctor referred me to Gateway. I called the Weatherford, Texas location for cost of 2 right shoulder x-rays and informed them I did not have insurance they told me that they would charge me $60 and could get me in ASAP. I had always had a good experience until the sonogram. I have never had so much pain! Sonograms don't usually hurt , and I have had many - this one, under my arm - I had tears literally running down my face. The technician was so mean and hateful, and the radiologist - couldn't see a thing, which is surprising since I can visually see it, and feel it.
