I was called the day of my appointment and asked to take a 3 o'clock appointment over 430 and I did so to help them out. I arrived at 3:08 due to a car accident on the freeway and my GPS turning me around and they told me that I would have to reschedule because I wasn't there within the 10 minute window but actually I was there within the 10 minute window. This review is for esthetician Evelyn Aldarondo, who has been working with me to slowly remove the melasma from my face which was unfortunately exacerbated by a laser supposed to treat it. Evelyn took her time to talk to me about my previous experiences with lasers, educated me on them, and suggested VI Peels and topicals to address my concerns. We've been doing VI Peels for a few months now, and while you have to be patient with the process, the difference is noticeable and the melasma gets lighter after every peel. I am a new client and I have melanated skin. I found everything from the initial contact with scheduling to the office visit in Danville- professional, courteous and the staff was engaging and exceeded expectations. There was one other person of color in the waiting room... so that helped mitigate some of the anxiety. Julia was the assistant responsible for my intake process and I really liked her! She was patient, asked very thorough questions and left room for me to add extra context to the discussion without making me feel as if our interaction was largely scripted or that she wasn't genuinely interested. Disparities in healthcare are prevalent and when you pair that with poor bedside manner... and personal anxiety about whether or not a physician has experience with your skin type... it can quickly make a bad experience. I found Dr. Hayes to be engaging, patient and honest. You will be hard pressed to find a physician with his academic achievements and acumen that will present as such. We spoke candidly about my community's experiences differ from the mainstream... and above all, what new technological options complement my skin. This was just my consult, I will follow this review after I am serviced by him. And those of you that would like to know why I didn't try one of the several derms in the Bay that are Black- I did. The one I chose, bedside manner was worst than poor, staff made lists of mistakes and the treatment was ineffective. read more

Dr. Wall and Dr. Gladstone are fantastic and the rest of the staff are really outstanding. Especially MA's Kristin and Dunia who are just amazing and take such good personalized care of their patients. I had a thorough check by Dr. Wall and found some skin cancer on my chest and nose. After the confirming biopsies, Dr Wall removed the portion from my chest - a 3 inch x 1 inch excision which I thought was huge. But now you can barely see a scar. Dr Gladstone performed 3-layer Mohs surgery on my nose followed by reconstructive grafting for the repair. Now healed, even my friends and family don't notice what tip of my nose had gone through. Terrible customer service!!! First time patient to the Manteca office. No one let me know auth was needed for meds so I'm expecting the the meds the same day. Left voice mail and text only for no one to call or text back after the weekend called once office open an hour only for the staff to say hold while i pull the chat then 10 mins later ask for the dob again and still hasn't pulled chart, nor have an answer. Held for manager, manager knows I'm upset because I've stated it tries to tell me to stop yelling and let her talk when I'm not yelling nor interrupting her. A raised voice is not yelling and Selina should rethink being a manager if she is just going to be slick in the mouth and not hold business accountable. She stated meds needed auth and they sent Friday both hpsj and cvs proved that was a lie. As i write this FINALLY GOT word from pharmacy that meds request received this am. Picture prof will be inserted. Canceled follow up appt as manager was just as incompetent as staff and was to busy getting an attitude instead of curbing patients frustration Update: left my name and number for a call back to discuss situation still no callback hours later even tho they had the time to respond here. Strange. Called number listed here by the person responding only to get no answer. Still no accountability still pointing the finger elsewhere. If it happens regularly why not train staff to be apologetic when someone calls in stating pharmacy never received? You can keep referencing a prior auth through insurance but that is not the case. I got my lips done 9/3 by Diem. It was my very first time getting my lips done and I was SCARED. Diem was kind, patient and made sure I was doing okay from start to finish. Diem injected Juvederm ultra xc and I love it. I'm not gonna lie, lip injections do hurt, but if I can do it, ANYONE can. I was honest and expressed my anxiety and she catered to that. The office is beautiful, staff was super nice and not pushy at all. I know I will be back again because it was just pleasant all around. The only hard part was the needles but I signed up for that. Been going here for over 7+ years for skin cancer checks. No longer will go here. They've shifted pretty much all of their attention to cosmetic dermatology, surgical procedures, etc. Each year, the checks get shorter and shorter. Granted, I don't have skin cancer history, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be scanned, right? This last appointment, I was left in a paper gown in the room for over 20 minutes. When the PA finally came in, she seemed rushed and like she didn't want to be bothered. My skin check lasted a whole 2 minutes! I'm not even sure it counts as an appointment! But they'll take the money from the insurance company and say it does. Are we sure I don't have any problems? Guess I'll have to wait for my next appointment with a different doctor next year! I forgot to mention that in the middle of my 2-minute appointment, someone knocked on the door while my paper gown was down and the nurse opened the door! Then, later after the appointment, a nurse knocked on the door as I was still getting dressed, like they couldn't wait for me to leave. I was honestly so annoyed, I waited over 48 hours to write this review so I wouldn't say things that were truly nasty. Don't go here. You have choices. Would give zero stars if I could. read more

It's hard to find somebody that does lip filler well and Dr. Gladstone does it perfect for me every time! He talks you through every step, especially if you're new to the treatment and he makes pre and post care easy to understand so you don't leave having a million questions on what to do. Had a terrible experience today with Gladstone clinic! super disappointing since my first visit was so good. Went in for some basic mole removals, and was quoted a set price for them. Had half of them removed on the first visit, and waited on the other two due to the doctors recommendation. I paid up front for all of them having been promised that I wouldn't be charged anything additional to complete the procedure at a later date. Returned today to take care of my last two, Only to be told that they made a mistake on the price, and now wanted to charge me another 250 to complete the job that had already paid in full on the first visit. I explained the situation, and asked that they honor their original promise to me, which the girls tried to do, but when they asked the doctor who was in charge of this,he firmly refused to budge and honor the original price promised to me. This says a lot about a business name and the character of who's running it when they make mistakes, but then punish their customers for those mistakes. I left immediately, as I refuse to give my business and hard earned money to someone who would do this. I won't be returning for anything in the future, and would never recommend a business that refuses to work with people and honor agreements. This is a shame because all the girls who work at the front desk, and the other doctor who cared for me are a the absolute sweetest, did a great job and are so helpful. My last appointment I showed up at the Walnut Creek location. There wasn't anyone there! I drove 45 minutes and the lady who I was supposed to see was not there. Dr. Roxane Schemla is an excellent doctor who integrates her medical and aesthetic knowledge in addressing medical and cosmetic facial conditions thru least invasive facial reconstruction. I consulted her on my partial facial paralysis medical condition, and in the very same visit, she spent a lot of time explaining how botox and fillers work, and treated me as well. The treatment she gave , given my medical condition, has resulted in small improvements, without requiring surgical intervention. I have been there twice in two weeks for fillers and Botox with Diem. I had my nasal folds last week injected and some Botox. Went back yesterday to get more filler in my nasal folds and had my lips injected after a dental block. The dental block made the injections painless with Diem. I saw Krystal Sun for a Botox treatment on 6/25/20. I have had Botox at least 10 times before, although never with her (or at this clinic). Although it has been less than 1 week, I can already tell that this is the best Botox treatment I have ever had--by far--despite getting fewer units than I usually do. Krystal didn't try to up-sell me (she was actually the one who suggested that I try fewer units) and was a total professional. She was also willing to give me valuable advice when I asked for pointers on an unrelated topical treatment I've been using, which was very thoughtful. I highly recommend Krystal. I've been a parient/customer here for a few years now. I was happy until my past 2 visits. I know how much Dysport my face needs but they said I needed more and when I tried to say no, they became almost rude and very insistent. I hesitatingly agreed. Big mistake. Posting another review because I had originally complained about how two separate times I went my Botox did not work and did not freeze my forehead in the slightest. The owner then replied to me basically telling me it was me and I should just get fillers. That's bullshit because I went somewhere else and it worked! I saw the results within a week. Why don't you get better products and stop blaming your clients, do better. Also, they told me that I wasn't the only one with the problem. They said a few women had complained that they had no results from their Botox injections at Gladstone and they had to be accommodated just like me for more. I was a patient of Dr Gladstone for many years until 2 years ago when he opened his new Blackhawk clinic. I was treated for squamous cell and he recommended 12 radiation treatments instead of Mohs. My Leg was severely burned and he missed the squamous cell area. Its taken almost 2 yrs and much expense and many hospital appointments to finally get the proper care and healing. Later, I was medically and and professionally informed that radiation is not the recommended treatment for this procedure, only MOHs. Please do not go to Dr Gladstone for anything, he does not deserve any stars. read more

My experience with this business started bad and ended bad. I won't even go over the inconvenience of booking an appointment. Got there for my Botox appointment and was seen by the wife. I have been doing Botox on my forehead for long time. Every clinic I visited recommended 20 units and it always worked for me. This lady argues that 25 units is what is needed. I asked her to show me that she is injecting the correct number of units that she is charging me for but suddenly she blushed, told me that she will call the go for to show me. The husband came over and never showed me anything. He was full of himself and excellent actor. Paid and left but didn't have a good feeling. I waited 3 weeks yet no results. Came in and got a lil tune up. Juvaderm for the lips, Botox for my frown line, steroid injection in a pimpleand tried cool sculpting for the first time. I spoke to the receptionist on multiple occasions about pricing for botox and Dysport. They informed me of a better promotion in the office that is different from the groupon deals. They never disclosed that there was a minimum amount of units required (75 for Dysport) until I finished with my procedures. I visited the office in Walnut Creek open one day per week, and was seen by Dr. Rose. I had 2 biopsy's on my face to test for skin cancer. One of the places a biopsy was takes was on my left upper lip. My upper lip was bruised for 2 weeks just from the anesthesia injection. I have a big scar on my up lip now because Dr. Rose did not find it necessary to Stich up the place on my upper lip. The scar could have been totally avoided had he stitched it up. Now I either have to live with the scar or get a very expensive correction done. In closing I don't thing that Dr. Rose a hair transplant specialist should be touching any persons face. Stay away from the place if you care about your appearance. read more
