The Finance Manager, Anas, was very helpful and called us to answer a few questions we had about the warranty the day after we bought the van. There were a couple CONS: We were at the dealership for about 6.5 hours overall. This seems like a very long time for this process (only did a short test drive on one van). They also ask you to write a review on multiple sites while you're sitting there, which is a bit off-putting. At the end of the day, we got a car that we love! read more

Overall our experience here was excellent. We visited about a few weeks ago looking for a vehicle for my daughter her first car to be exact... The attendant Antoine assisted us... He was very efficient very easy to understand as well as communative. My daughter didn't see anything she really really liked but he said he would be on the lookout and was super confident that he was going to sell us a car. A few days later he ended up calling and said that he had a vehicle that was on the way... Long story short my baby is the proud owner of a 2026 Honda Civic. TPMS "Repair" Led to Tire Blowout--Negligence That Could Have Killed My Partner On Monday, July 14, my partner brought our 2025 Honda Accord to Hall Honda Virginia Beach for a TPMS warning light this was Visit #1. The repair was completed under warranty and marked ready by 12:24 PM. We picked the car up the next morning, Tuesday, July 15 at 7:30 AM. Just nine hours later, at 4:32 PM, the tire's sidewall blew out without warning while my partner was driving to ODU. There was no TPMS alert, no impact, no pothole, just sudden catastrophic failure. If this had happened at highway speed, she could be dead. That's not an exaggeration. This wasn't an inconvenience it was a life-threatening failure hours after the dealership released the vehicle. We had the car towed back after hours that evening Visit #2. The next morning, Tito, the service advisor, said we "must have hit something." I didn't argue. I let it go because he also told me that the tire replacement and rim work were fully covered under warranty and then gave me two options: a fast-track repair using a third party, or the "proper" route that would take three days. Since it was covered, I didn't press the issue and chose the "proper" fix. But then came Visit #3. We picked the car up on Monday, July 21. By Tuesday, July 22 at 3 PM, the TPMS system failed again, this time throwing a calibration warning yet another return trip. At this point, my frustration was not with the blowout itself it was with the fact that we had to return three times for what should have been a basic sensor repair. I came in to express concern over the repeated service failures and the lack of thoroughness. Instead of addressing the real issue, the service manager spoke to Tito who immediately got aggressive, once again insisting we caused the blowout saying he "took photos". I wasn't even there to argue about the tire blowout. But now he and his manager, who was just as defensive and condescending, turned the whole conversation into a hostile blame game. They showed no concern that the vehicle was returned to us in an unsafe condition. No concern that my partner's life was put at risk. No apology for the inconvenience, the transportation costs I had to pay out of pocket, or the wasted time. Instead, they made it clear that preserving their version of events mattered more than accountability or safety. Let's be absolutely clear: The rim chip came from the rim contacting pavement after the tire failed, under full vehicle weight and torque. The black scuffing is consistent with rotation on bare metal not from hitting an object. There was no structural rim damage, no lateral cracking, and no TPMS alert. This failure was the result of either a defective tire or a botched TPMS service not driver error. This is not just bad service. This is negligence. This is a failure to properly service a safety-critical system. This is a pattern of blame-shifting, evasion, and disrespect toward a paying customer. This is how someone ends up seriously injured or dead because a dealership failed to do its job. Yes, everything was covered under warranty. But a warranty doesn't mean anything when the work is careless and the staff treats safety like an afterthought. We were lucky. But if this same failure happens to someone else at 70 mph, there will be blood on this dealership's hands. Avoid Hall Honda Virginia Beach. Don't trust their service department. Don't let their smiles in the sales office fool you. And don't believe the warranty will protect you when what you really need is competence and accountability. Because based on our experience, they offer neither. Ps. They really don't deserve it but I give them two stars because the gentleman who calibrated the TPMS sensor was polite ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Calibration still doesn't work. My sister has a vehicle from here that's paid off. She had it took in for service about 4 times and every time it comes back with the same issues or worse. The service department is definitely trash. She spent 3,000 dollars not too long ago to fix her vehicle to get it back with the same issues happening. She needed a new battery they claim she got the wrong one and was supposed to changed it out. Then they said her cadilac converter and other work needed to be done for another 3,000 dollars. She sent the vehicle to them and 48 hours later it's ready. She picks it up all the dash lights come on, and she has to pay for a tow they could have sent one of their trucks to pick up the vehicle. She gets a call from them saying that her engine is going bad and she has to pay 6,000 dollars after already paying 6,000 for repairs they claim they did and the car came back even worse and undrivable every time. They did not want to provide her a loner, or anything mind you her car is paid off which means loyal customer payments on time.!!! Tried calling the Service manager Jason three times and left a voice mail and no return call. This situation has to be rectified, or I would help her take legal action. The negligence of bad repairs could have cause an accident or left her and her daughter stranded anywhere due to poor repairs and paying 3,000 dollars two times already to be told she has to pay another 6,000 for an engine. Like Hell no use that and replace her engine with your poor ass service department skills and customer service trying to get over on a woman for car repair funds. Then tried to blame my mom saying she over flooded the oil that's why it's the engine, my mom had the engine oil changed every time at professional places. Instead of them saying they did not change the oil when they so called did the repairs and test drove it as they said they would before returning it they would have caught the issue or knew the engine needed to be done before taking 3,000 dollars for other bad repairs they did. read more

Was even told by Don Blea, their sales manager, that we didn't purchase the car from them. My original salesperson wasn't available (I was late) when I got there, but Dee stepped and got me squared away and riding! 11/14/2025 Unfortunately, I have to update my review of this dealership. Not long after purchasing my car (after 7 days but less than 30.) bugs (specifically ROACHES) were showing up in the car. I text my salesperson to inquire if they knew; she said they didn't. Eventually a manager, Steve, call me who suggested that the bugs were from me; I felt very insulted. My salesperson, Dee, later informed me that they would detail the car. They had my car for a few day and Dee said they found the source and would bomb and detail the car thoroughly. At the time I expressed that I was not comfortable keeping the car. Eventually, we landed on exchanging the vehicle for same year and model. Initially, I was going to come down on 10/23 sign all the paper work for the exchange and be done. However, when i arrived, the paper was not ready; we settled on dealer tags until the following Monday. I called Monday - no update, Tuesday - no update Wednesday - they finally said Oh we can just exchange the car despite that being the initial plan (I have the text message from the Salesperson). I went back to pick up my original vehicle). The issue was then escalated to a Sales Manager Marcus who very rude and refused to let me talk. After going back and forth with no avail; I spoke with Steve again - I asked about trading the car in (NO WANTS TO DRIVE AROUND WITH ROACHES IN THEIR CAR - YES THEY WERE STILL POPPING UP AFTER A PISS POOR DETAIL). Finally, we worked on the details of trading the vehicle in, same type of car, but I would have to put another $1000 down; I reluctantly agreed to get rid of the roach mobile. I set an appointment to complete the process; I confirm with the salesperson to make sure we were good to go and she confirm. HOWEVER, about 2 hours before the appointment she texted to say, oh I received some 'bad information' and that they financed amount would be lower - therefore I was not able to exchange the vehicle. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service, the constant sharing of misinformation and the disregard to satisfied/rectify this issue. 0 stars if I could. If you have a trade in with an out of state electronic title, be prepared to do a lot of fact finding and work on your end. and still get stuck with the bill. Purchased a vehicle from here, title for trade in was out of state and electronic. Finance manager was convinced it wasn't even POSSIBLE for dealerships to facilitate the out of state title transfer/request. After quite a few calls to both states DMVs' and tax collectors, that was determined to be false. I had to find all the forms and instructions on how to complete them FOR Hall Honda, take them to them, just for the finance manager to not even take the time of day to see us again after securing the sale a few days prior. Had us fill out the forms we had to find, for an industry standard process that they denied was even possible, in some run down ikea chairs in a dirty lobby across the street from the main dealership. Then the NEXT DAY I get a text message fro the finance managers personal number telling me I'm gonna have to pay the title request fee. So I being my concerns to light via email to this guy, CC the general manager, some guy named "papa Seck" (red flag if I've ever seen one), just to not hear back for nearly three days AFTER I send a follow up email. This guy "papa Seck" called, told me even with all the hand holding we had to prove the finance manager, they can't waive the fee. Then AGREES the finance manager needs and will receive training. This place is a joke. The only half way decent part of my experience with this place was the salesman, Jah Hall, but don't to get two keys for your vehicle. Don't worry, though, they've got the other key they got when they bought the vehicle on hand to sell to you. If you have ANY other options, or an ounce of self respect, buy a car somewhere else. 10/31/20: This dealership is awesome!! They always have openings when Checkered Flag never seems to. My daughter needed her car inspected & today was the deadline. We went in around 1:40 pm & they were not busy, which was a shocker. The service guy (Corbin, I think) was super nice & accommodating. We were there a little over an hour & he was able to give her an estimate of how much it would cost to get minor repairs done. He truly was amazing! The dealership was constantly being cleaned during our visit, which was awesome. The staff was wearing their masks & customers were sitting 6 feet apart. We didn't have any issues at all. I have purchased 6 vehicles from this dealership, 2 of which were this year, all new. This last one was the end of my story with Hall Honda!! They took 2 month to process the paperwork after we left the dealer with everything signed. Little did we know, they did not process the payoff timely either, creating a late payment. When speaking to their business manager, he was too arrogant to admit they were in any wrong and not willing to speak with the bank. Luckily, we were able to prove to the bank when we traded the car and they took that into consideration removing the late payment. Long story, beware, because from being a regular customer, they have pushed sales people through quickly and promoted into roles they clearly are not ready for. All that, creating issues for customers, and then refusing to do anything to help remedy the issues they create. A dealership is only as good as its management employees and service. I have had horrible experiences with all three at Hall Honda of Virginia Beach. One employee, , Tae, after $2500 worth of work NOT fixing my AC, proceeded to tell me that no one knows where a temperature gauge is. After explaining a trip where I had my eye on it the whole time, he basically called me a liar ( just because I said I knew where a temperature gauge was doesn't mean I really do). I was also victim blamed (Louis); being told since I bought my car used I really don't know its background (car was owned by a used car dealer's mom who knew the previous owner. I had every maintenance report and knew they only sold the car because the old family station wagon turned up at the dealership). After having my Honda CRV in for service FOUR times without fixing the issue, I went to another mechanic. He found it was an electrical issue on the first day and that Hall Honda had not only missed the problem, they had caused damage to my car (caused a leak as they had tested for a leak earlier and found none), forgotten to put back clips in the body and o rings in a hose and damaged a new relay that they installed anyway. they also left all the wires hanging in a tangle rather than putting them back the way they found them. They installed an aftermarket compressor without my permission (which my new mechanic said looked like it had been put in with a hammer and had had its manufacturing label purposely removed). They also ignored the old condenser as part of an AC job (unlike my new mechanic who replaced it) and PUT BACK a 2009 fan belt after removing it rather than putting a new one on. Keep in mind none of this work was necessary... IT WAS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE. They threw out my compressor, which was probably just fine, and tried to tell me I couldn't prove it was bad. After all this, I meet with Management (Richard first, who simply forwards my information to the service department that is the problem in the first place). When I meet with the general manager (Papa) I'm offered my money back and a pittance extra, but when I insist on reports about fixing their department and paperwork to sign that will not gag me, I am promised this and sent paperwork that will gag me anyway. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!! AND THEY DON'T CARE! read more

believe the bad reviews for the service center. i have 2 hondas and they were both due for inspection. Last week they left me stranded at work. I told them I needed a return ride and they ended up calling me 10 minutes after the shuttle driver went home. thought it was annoying, but just went with it. Brought my other car in one week later and the exact same thing happened. I had a morning appointment, I made a point to tell my service manager, the person at the desk, and my shuttle driver that i got stranded last week. they all assured me it wouldn't happen again, but guess what happened... i had to call and get a status update (on a car that passed inspection by the way) and they asked if i minded picking it up the next day. My husband and I love this place. I would give it ten starts but there is only five. Their services makes you feel like family from the start. We have purchased all of our cars with them since 2017. If there is anything issues the general manager and staff will try to rectify it right away. We left VA for about two years. We stopped by mid day to get our cars inspected and an oil change.
