I went here yesterday for the first time to get my nails done and since it was a Monday there were only 3 clients. So when I walked in right away they attended me. I got my nails done with the technician named sissy. She was nice and polite. I asked how much it would be to get acrylic nails with gel top coat and they said $40 but with a regular one it costs $20 which is not at all bad. But I was surprise by the price of $40 for acrylics and gel top coat. I just decided to get the acrylics with regular polish and the polish looks really pretty and one of the things I'm content with. For the shape she just asked if I wanted square and I said yes. I noticed on the table next to me they had a print out of the different shapes saying they charged $3 extra but they don't have it everywhere so look out for that. Overall my nails aren't the best because my right hands nails are longer than my left hand nails. And the polish is alright as well as the shape. read more

Worst place ever!!!!! I went yesterday to get a full set and it was the worst experience ever! While I was getting them done the lady was cutting them and and I told her the length was okay. She put the acrylic on 1 finger and I still wasn't happy w the length so I asked her to cut them again. She gets a little frustrated and cuts them without asking how long I wanted them I look at them once she is done cutting them and I ask her to do them a little bit shorter. At this point she takes her mask off and rudely asked me how long I wanted them then. I let her know that she didn't ask me how long I wanted them that time so she goes back to cut them. At this point she cuts them practically man handling my hands. They were speaking in their language and kept looking at me. She painted my nails horribly that I had to get up and have someone else fix them. I let them know how she was being so rude they all acted like I was crazy. I had to go back today the day after cause one of my nails cracked. The same lady that took care of me the day before was there and they asked her to pick the color I had on my nails she picked 2 different colors. She comes to my tables and throws them I complain and they all looked at me like I was crazy. Never did the apologize for their rude customer service. Never go to fucking Elite. I went to get my eyebrows done and the girl made my eyebrows the size of toothpicks. I asked for her to wax my lip and it's all stubbly. I went back in yelling and this other girl said she would fix my lip and all she did was start tweezing. I said "if all you're going to do is tweeze it, I can literally just do that at home" and stormed out. I am beyond pissed and my eyebrows look terrible. DO NOT GO HERE FOR WAXING. read more

I have been going to Elite for 5years now. With an occasional break of 3months in between. They have multiple options for pedicures and I usually enjoy a good soak to pick out my choice of pedi. Today was going to be no different except as soon as I was seated I was told I could not soak because they needed to speed up the process since they already had people calling for appointments. ( Even tho there were at least 6 chairs empty and what seemed to be a multiple of workers in the break room.) I said it was fine to move along the process. They seemed not to be interested in doing the pedicure I was in my chair for. They spoke a whole lot in mandarin about me. It was an awkward time. I paid my bill and pointed out that there was not even 1 person on the chairs; to which they explained that the moving along they asked me to do was just incase they had a call in or a lot of people coming in. Was in with my friend this past weekend while she had her nails done. Her nails turned out decent but the customer service needs some improvement. She was bounced around twice. Almost all the technicians working that day came over to look at her nails, talk in their native language, laugh about her nails/laugh at her & walk away. If there was an issue with her nails, one of them should have explained it to her. Extreme turn off & there are plenty of nail salons in the city to go to instead. read more

I have been going to this nail salon since it opened after becoming increasingly disgusted with another place on North Avenue. Except for one or two techs who are not as careful/experienced as the others, the service is excellent. I have had no-chip, gel dip and regular manicures and pedicures and have been generally pleased. The salon is spotless and the staff is very professional. read more

If I could give this place a (-) star, I would! First and FOREMOST these people here are extremely rude, super rude. The first time I came it was because my sister referred me cause I had liked the chrome set she got. I went in to get the exact set and some how they're calculations came out to a total of $53. Which was because it's $35 for no chip, $15 for a fill in and $3 for fix nail. Yes I needed all of the above. But ANYWHERE else I go they do not charge a fill in separately... it's like they were charging me $35 for just the color, so I said NO, I'll just get a nice $15 fill in... the lady had an attitude once I questioned her $53 total. The same lady who carried an attitude w me carried it with my sister when they charged my sister $6 to fix ONE nail cause the chrome color. Anyway, that finished and she snatched the money from my sister and threw it at the lady that was doing my nails! She couldn't just put it in the register herself. Anyway so yesterday, I go in to get a fill in again, mind you my nails are my nails, the man who did my nails, whom kept pausing several times in between to text, filled them in for me. I paid. Come this morning TWO of my natural nails broke, one flew off and the other was cracked straight across..... he did the acrylic super thin. So today, I go in to request them to fix them both. I wanted the fake nail on the one that flew off and I wanted them to CLIP the cracked one and put a fake one, me thinking that was common sense, I didn't specify that. The lady who so happened to be the lady I argued with the FIRST time I went, takes care of me..... she's putting the fake nail very carelessly and then I notice she was just topping the other nail w acrylic before clipping it, and I'm looking at her like ...... can you clip it, it's cracked? She's like "we charge $3" I did NOT have cracked nails before coming here. Everything about my nails were fine but you're gonna charge me? Whatever she proceeded w the acrylic... now my nail looks UGLY and disgusting. I WILL never go back and I recommend you save yourself money and don't go! Go to the nail salon next door to the ALDI at the brickyard if you're not too far from the area! They're amazing! HORRIBLE! I've been coming here for a year now. I had the man in the first chair do my nails today and it came out alright.. he rushed on them. But As I went home I observed that half of my nails was glossy but the other part was matte. I tried to put my own top coat on at home but it just kept drying half and half. I went back to the salon and he told me just put top coat I told him no and tried to explain that I did that and it did not work. He kept arguing with me, rolling his eyes, then the girl next to him CiCi told him something in their language and he followed me to get my color. As he was taking off the polish he yanked my arm and I told him if you touch me like that again we will have a bigger problem.I then asked him what could have caused this, he says "IDK. You should just put top coat like I said." At that point I was frustrated and told him if he didn't fix it to give me my money back. He then went on to say "if you don't like how we do nails, don't come back!!" Even after I went back and got it "fixed" it was doing the same thing. I think this place is VERY unprofessional and needs a wake up call or they will lose all their customers. I wish I could give zero stars!! read more

I love this salon! It's only a block from my house AND they took pride in the decor and design layout. I appreciate their wide variety of polish. I've had Ada and Cindy do my pedicures, and they did a great job and the polish was long lasting. (FYI to the review above, the instruments are sterilized in the back, and they place them in sterile bins on a shelf. They retrieve them for each new customer!) read more

They overcharged me I was with a friend and I already payed my guy, and then she payed ,so we both payed and we dried are nails and walked out but then a woman came running saying you didn't pay so I went in there and I said I payed and then I pointed at the guy who I payed and he said I didn't pay him which I did and they told me I needed to pay or they will call the police even tho I already payed! Someone I know told me not to go here because when she was there they tried to steal her debit card but I said I will give it a chance but I should of took her advice! Let me start by saying this place is very UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! I went in on Friday May 4th for a no chip mani and pedi when I arrived there was two people ahead of me which was fine seeing that it was a Friday afternoon. When I finally sat down the lady who I'm assuming is the owner she sits at the second station as soon as you walk in asked what i was there for , I let her know I wanted a no chip mani and a pedicure so she covered my nails in foil which is the process when you already have no chip on your hands. Once she was done covering my nails in foil I thought she would then begin my pedicure which is normally what salons do but instead she walked away and went to the back room to eat. After sitting there for about 20 min I finally asked the guy at the first station if she planned on coming back any time soon, he got so upset he got up knocked over a garbage can went to the back and got the woman. When she returned her attitude was beyond poor she did not listen to her me when I told her what length I wanted my nails she continuously yanked on my hands to where I even asked her multiple times to stop. At one point i noticed the polish was smeared so I was looking at my nails she yanked my hand and told me not to look at my nails till she was done. I explained to her I'm the one paying for my nails and I could at my nails as many times as I needed. She continued to have a poor attitude and finished my manicure in about 15 min or less. When it was time for my pedicure I told the man I did not want her to do my pedicure because of the experience I had just had with her she got up out of her seat and yelled out "Well I don't do pedicures anyway". I would NEVER I repeat NEVER come to this place again!!!! To say they are rude and unprofessional is an understatement, it is now 4 days later and my mani looks as if I had it for 2 weeks already and is peeling. If you get mani and pedi (no chip) then you know it can get pricey so for it to look the way it does just really upsets me. Have been coming to this salon since opening. Last month while I was trying to relax during my $50.00 pedicure the women in the chair next to me was getto, foul mouthed and very loud on her phone for the entire hour. Absolutely ruining my experience. Manager totally ignored situation, played the non speaking English gig except to make sure the $50.00 was collected. I explained if it happened again I'm not paying for it. Was ignored she didn't care. Tonight my daughter got an Sns manicure that she has had many times but tech did something wrong and it would not dry. Normally takes about 25 minutes but now we are into an hour and ten minutes and bleeding fingers from the torchure, instead of admitting something was done wrong and this will never dry. Again handling my 13 year old daughter roughly to the point I had to say take it easy. The no English gig again when I want an explanation in how this is being handled. But the English is fine when they want to get paid by a very regular very unhappy customer. Take this place off your list if something is not right they'll never stand behind it but pretend they don't speak English. I'm done here and I'm done there! read more
