I asked for a rounded haircut with lots of layers and face-framing pieces and I showed her my inspo photos as well. She first washed my hair and then got started on the cut. Yessenia did an amazing job! She was friendly and professional and gave me exactly what I requested. I wasn't sure whether to go with lighter or heavier curtain bangs/face-framing pieces, and she knew exactly what would suit me when she suggested sticking with lighter face framing. She also somehow managed to style my frizzy Indian hair perfectly without using much tension on the brush, which was shocking to me. I love Kim T! I finally found an affordable and awesome hair stylist and I won't go to anyone else again. I've been going to Kim Tran for a few years and my mom has been seeing her for much longer, and we both love the fact that we can trust Kim to give us great styles when we want to try something new, or if we want to keep it the same she does an awesome job every time. Since I started getting my hair cut by Kim, I have gone from very long to now a short style. This place is amazing and I'd recommend it to anyone! I got a haircut and style, I have long thick hair that is sometimes hard to manage and Lily did an absolutely amazing job at layering and styling. I was very satisfied with the results, all while the prices being very reasonable. Lily is the owner and she is the sweetest woman and has been doing hair for over 30 years so she is very skilled. After spraying it with a little bit of water and cutting it, she tossed it for around for "bounce" and left my hair frizzy. I had to *ask* for some serum or moisturizer. She didnt offer to blow dry or straighten. Even though my appointment started early, I felt like the stylist was in a rush. I paid 50 for a mediocre quality haircut. My hair wasnt in amazing shape to begin with and I hadnt cut it for over a year (i mentioned this) So I was really hoping for someone attentive, patient, thorough and knowledgeable about thick dry hair and was hoping to walk out leaving more confident. the haircut felt rushed and I left with frizzier hair than I came in with. Not the confidence boost I was hoping for.

Throughout the haircut, She took her time and paid attention to every detail, resulting in a great final result (that didn't take as long as I thought!). Christine was really nice, she asked questions to make sure I got what I wanted and she was also just super fun to talk to! Overall, I am thrilled with my new haircut and the wonderful experience I had at her studio. Long story short I botched my hair at home with some Splat hair coloring the other day. I cried and…read morecried as nobody had room last minute but then I found Christine last night and called her. I let her know what happened and she told me to come in at 9AM so we can see what can be done. Her salon is home based and it is beautifully made and equipped with every piece of equipment you could ever need. You really feel like you're in a salon. She served some fruits and drinks and we spoke about this and that and it felt really nice that she listened to me about everything. Her salon does hair coloring and styling and she uses some high quality products that smell so good and make your hair so soft. She does women's and mens hair cuts. On weekends she does nails and has an assistant that does pedicures. I love everything about her studio including her puppy that loved my pets lol. She does an amazing job walking you through the process of what she does and always asks for content before each step. I could not say enough good things about my experience this morning. I will definitely be back for all of my salon needs. I came with low self esteem and I left feeling beautiful and empowered. I owe her my life
