The screen is large and there are many seats so should be able to enjoy any showing. One Caveat for me: family friendly movies are usually shown at 2pm, so if you are someone bothered by young children in the audience who may not tolerate sitting still for several hours and who may be naturally noisy, than you may be better off going to evening 6 or 7pm movies. The seats are fine for comfort, older style with no reclining but not too dirty or thin in padding (for comparison, the older seats in the Regency theater in Ventura are much more uncomfortable for me)

They have fresh popped popcorn, hot dogs, candy, etc. The concessions are cheaper by quite a bit than the outside theaters. They only have one screen but it's a pretty large theater so can fit a lot of people. I've only seen it super busy one time. But they did run out of hot dogs. They won't give you an extra tray to split the popcorn so you have to figure out another way to share. The seats do not recline but are not uncomfortable. Overall it's a nice theater and you can't beat the price.

I wish the seating was auditorium style. Overall, the building is well designed and well maintained. I enjoyed my visit!

We popped down to check them out. While not mind-blowing, it was a fairly extensive grouping of closely woven pieces of varying size and design. Back up on the main floor they had their current traveling exhibit of artwork from the collection of the Mullin Automotive Museum. The varied works of photography and paintings in various media are as striking as the autos that inspired them. Well worth experiencing for those who love the sleek lines and elegant components of classic cars. Having been to the Mullin, I don't remember the artwork as much as the cars, which suggests that highlighting the art is a worthwhile endeavor. Because these works were not the property of the Carnegie, but rather on loan, photography was not allowed. Up on the second floor, selfies only were recommended, but photos of the museum's permanent collection were okay. The current selections are of the plein air style, with emphasis on California subjects. Cornelis Botke (husband of Jessie Arms Botke, noted Ventura County painter) is represented with one of his landscapes. I thought I recognized the Botke name. Jessie Arms Botke's works are currently featured at the Santa Paula Art Museum. There is a fair amount of unused space, especially on the second floor. Portable display walls could be utilized to expand the number of works available to see. I suppose lighting could be a challenge, but they could surely figure it out. The building itself, in neoclassical style, was the former Oxnard City Library. It presents a grand facade in downtown Oxnard, adjacent to Plaza Park. Free parking in their own lot and adjacent streets. We saw a fashion photo shoot happening out front when we arrived, and it does make a statement as an architecture background. I understand that it's a popular place for photography. As we were leaving, the hostess mentioned that around the corner is their "Artist in Residence" venue, and suggested that we check it out. The current group of pieces there are mostly focused on photographs, and are vibrant, youth-focused, and often raw in emotion and subject matter. Worth checking out, especially for anyone who thinks that art museums are "stuffy".

We asked her for help logging onto her website she replied, "Everyone else can do it." We took our child out and as she grew older we decided to give it another try. We found ourselves in the same dilemma. The owner is very condescending when one asks for help. I will never go to this place again. As an adult I am not in the practice of paying someone to be arrogant, condescending or rude to my family.

Because the gift cards they are issuing are outdated you are not able to select your movie theater seats in advance and have to hope that there is seating for your group available when you get to the box office. The customer service person at this ITT office basically told us that they didn't care and the gift cards are nonrefundable. The movie ticket pricing is also not much of a discount. It is the same cost as a matinee ticket and it saves you only the cost of tax that you would pay at the box office, about $3.50 for two tickets.

Despite being told that I would receive my $300 security deposit back if we cleaned the venue thoroughly, the management later refused to return my deposit. The party was called off due to alleged drinking in the parking lot, which we didn't witness. The bartender promised a refund if we cleaned up, the Bar manager Lisa reneged on this promise also stating she would show proof . Stating the bar made, Alice had no right to instruct us that we would get our money back if she had enough pull to call off our party then why not just tell us to leave and not clean up! We stayed almost 2 hours cleaning up! I've since spoken to several people who have had similar experiences with the Eagles, where parties are called off and deposits are kept. In contrast, I've had positive experiences at the Moose, where events are handled with courtesy and respect. # Unfair Treatment of Non-Members The Eagles' policy of turning away non-members in the rudest way!! from the bar area is counterintuitive. By inviting potential members to experience the venue, you can showcase its amenities and build a positive reputation. # Recommendation Based on my experience, I would not recommend hosting a party or becoming a member at the Eagles. The management's unfair refund policy and treatment of non-members are significant concerns. I hope that the Eagles will reconsider their policies and prioritize customer satisfaction. The bartender was awesome. We had a cook, DJ and a decorator that came in a set up the place really nice. If I get a chance I will find some pictures so I can post them up. We had about 90 people there with chairs and tables and enough room for dancing.
