We had a great experience with elite towing, specifically with Shane, the owner. My pickup broke down just outside of Gila Bend while towing our 5th wheel toy hauler, and I called AAA to arrange a tow. After a horrible experience with AAA, My wife and I were forced to spend the night in our camper just to the side of interstate 8 eastbound, since initiating the call around 3 pm. Shane had responded soon after the first call was made to AAA initially, but at that time AAA had things pretty messed up and he was told his services weren't needed. He responded right away the next morning after I initiated another call with AAA . He was also upset with AAA and very empathetic to our situation. Shane's professionalism and ethics were amazing. He wanted to know what the problem was with the truck, so I told him I had seen a fuel line leak at one of the injectors. He looked at it and said, hop in my truck, we're going to Napa. We went to Napa, he purchased the fuel line and insulator and installed them. It turned out that the leak wasn't the primary issue, but he did fix the leak, and we still needed a tow. He towed us to his lot in Casa Grande. He made the arrangments to have the truck at a shop on Monday.... it was currently Saturday. I tried calling RV parks in Casa Grande, but they were not answering during our travel to his shop. He arranged for a place for us to park with full hookups. I don't know how this situation could have had any better of an outcome than what Shane had done for us. He is a man who is direct and succinct, which may bother some people, but his heart is truly as big as they get. read more

We are 2 old dudes who broke down in our 28' Class C motorhome on I-8, 23 miles west of Casa Grande. We are from Palm Desert, CA, and broke down 340 miles from home- pretty much in middle of nowhere. It was late on a Saturday and Elite Towing towed us to Middleton Auto Repair in Casa Grande. The driver was very polite and efficient. We have AAA Premier RV road coverage and Elite Towing also worked with AAA to make the tow charge $0. Thank you for working with us and AAA. On my drive back from San Diego my car broke down in Eloy, Arizona on a Sunday evening. After waiting several hours, AAA said they couldn't tow us to Tucson until the next morning. My truck was stolen from in front of my house in North Glendale on the evening of 11/02/2019. I had spent the last 5 years restoring, building and tuning it, and resolved myself to never seeing it again. I was elated to get a call at 12:30 AM on 11/03/2019 from the Gila River Police saying they had found it. I rushed to the reservation in Laveen to get it. The thieves had picked several parts off of it, but it was largely in tact. They had stolen the batteries, so it wouldn't' start. I also saw oil in the coolant, so I was scared they blew up the engine (which may account for why it was left in someone's driveway, although the person claimed ignorance as to how it got there). I almost immediately called AAA, but after waiting almost 2 hours, gave up. The officers wouldn't leave me alone on the reservation and recommended Elite towing so I decided to call. The driver was there in about 45 mins, loaded up and had me home by 530am. The service was fine and the driver was a nice guy. The bill was a lot higher than expected, but I paid it and I contacted the office monday morning to discuss. I did not realize the driver was coming from Casa Grande, which is 60 miles from anywhere and due to the size of my truck, needed some heavier-duty equipent. We agreed intial communication could have been better on both sides and he refunded a fair amount of the bill. I'm happy that we were able to work it out and if I'm ever in need of rescue in the Casa Grande Area, I wouldn't hesitate to call. read more

Long story short, they wil try to charge you more than what is legally allowed by law hoping you are not aware and will just pay it to get your car back. The owner Shane is a complete scumbag and will flat out lie to you. It wasn't until I pointed out the Arizona Statutes and contacted DPS (who then contacted him) about what they were doing did they lower the charges. It went from $2,900 to $1,000. They could not legally charge me $2,900 which they knew but tried to do so anyway. I feel incredibly bad for people that fall for their tricks. Please don't be a victim and research the law to make sure they are doing business the legal way. Horrible business and horrible owner. read more

Last evening (04/14/22), I had a flat tire on the reservation outside of Casa Grande and had no cell service. I called 911 who put me through to my roadside but I sat on hold for over 1/2 hour and the 911 dispatcher said she couldn't tie up the line any longer. Fortunately, a very kind Gila River officer stopped. He called Elite Towing telling me they were the best. Shane, the owner, told me it would be about 35 minutes. It might have been but he gave the driver the wrong address so it was over 1 1/2 hours before the driver arrived. Super nice guy! When we got the car home and he told me the tow amount, I was a little shocked. Given that the driver was new, I called Shane and he proceeded to yelling at me about the charges. Mind you, all I wanted was an explanation and not to be yelled at. In fact, I told him that I didn't understand why he was cranky because I wasn't and just wanted to understand. After yelling at me for longer than he should, once I said this, he changed his tone. This guy is not nice, not efficient (wrong address) and is an ass. Thankfully, he hires nice drivers. read more

Shane of Elite Towing rescued me and my crippled Travel trailer from a exit of I-10 on a Thursday afternoon after a wheel bearing burned up. He came out promptly and recovered the trailer. He hauled it to their lot and made the repairs the next day. The price was fair and less than 24 hours after the incident I was back home in Tucson. read more

On the internet, they post that they are open 24/7, but when you call, they tell you (yell) that they're closed, that they're busy spending time with their family, but will go open the tow yard IF you pay in cash... also, the owner was extremely rude and yelling over the phone but repeated about 6 times that he only took cash. Once I showed up with the large amount of money he was charging, the owner completely changed his attitude and was suddenly pleasant. All I can say is take your business elsewhere, somewhere where they're not as shady as Elite towing. read more
