I am beyond disappointed by the lack of concern, empathy, and urgency shown by your organization during what was a dangerous situation involving both my 11-year-old son and myself. I became stranded on the side of a busy highway with a flat tire. Traffic was passing at high speeds, creating an extremely dangerous environment. I was not alone--I had my 11-year-old son in the vehicle with me. As a parent, there is nothing more important than the safety of my child, yet throughout this experience I felt that AAA showed little to no concern for the risks we were facing. To further complicate the situation, I am a diabetic. Stressful situations and extended delays can create legitimate health concerns. Despite explaining the seriousness of our circumstances, the representative I spoke with, Cindy, showed no sense of urgency and no meaningful concern for our safety. At no point did I feel that AAA was treating this as the emergency situation that it was. What disturbed me most was the apparent focus on money rather than member safety. AAA advertises itself as a company that provides peace of mind and protection when motorists find themselves stranded. However, when I needed assistance, I felt as though policies and payments were given more attention than the fact that a child and a member were sitting dangerously close to high-speed traffic. The situation became even more frustrating when I was informed that the additional mileage charge would be approximately $60. Based on that information, I agreed to proceed. I later discovered that the actual charge was $92. This is a significant difference and raises serious concerns regarding transparency and accuracy. Had I been told the correct amount from the beginning, I would have been able to make an informed decision. I am demanding a clear explanation regarding the following: Why was I quoted approximately $60 and then charged $92? Why are AAA members required to wait 48 hours before certain membership benefits become active? How can AAA justify charging significant additional fees after members have already paid for a membership? Where are these charges and restrictions clearly disclosed to consumers? What specific procedures are in place when a member is stranded with a child in a dangerous location? Why did the representative appear to show so little concern for the immediate safety risks involved? As a paying member, I expected AAA to place safety first. Instead, I was left feeling abandoned, frustrated, and misled. The reality is that my son and I were sitting on the side of a highway with vehicles speeding past us while the company that claims to protect motorists seemed far more concerned about fees and policies than the well-being of its members. This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in AAA. I joined because I believed that if I ever found myself in an emergency situation, AAA would be there to help. Maybe it'll prevent further persons from using this compnay. I wouldn't even allow my insurance company to pay these people anything if they ever wanted to use their services. So here it goes.. This company towed my UTV on my personal trailer, from my personal property. It wasn't abandoned on the side of the road or anything like that, and even if it was, this is not how this should have be handled. They towed my UTV away ON a trailer as one! Then waited a day for the "guy in charge to be in" so they had time to remove it OFF the trailer, so they could charge both ME and the trailer owner the tow fee, all because the trailer had a different registered owner! Had that UTV been in an enclosed trailer, would that have been done? No wouldn't have been done, I dont understand why it was done in this instance. The tow fee should have just been for the trailer it was on, not what was on the trailer separately. I had to pay double tow fees for this service. I was charged for tow/hook fee that should have been paid by the police station to tow to their impound, because they towed it there first, then towed it to their impound yard months later from the police impound at the police request. I was charged for both and storage fees for two days even though they were contacted the first day but because the "guy in charge" wasn't in, I was forced to leave it another day and pay an additional storage day. The phone number that is on their truck and the website is not an on call number, it's to the office, which we called during their normal business hours. I feel like the compnay intentionally did this to collect double for this service. The first day I tried to get it, I was outside the tow yard, I could see it still on the trailer. If it was a matter of me just asking for the UTV and not the trailer, and thats why I had to pay separately, why was the UTV ALREADY off of the trailer when I spoke to him on the phone before I even got there, he told me "it's not on the trailer" He must have decided to check if it was the same owner on the first day and was waiting to hear back to see if he could get couple the pay on it. Because the funny thing is that I got a notice from ADOT that the UTV was towed to their yard (which it was not, I called the tow yard to verify, they said it wasnt) but they registered owner of the trailer never received a notice from them. Sounds to me like they were going to try to keep it. I dont even mind paying the fee once! But twice? For one damn service!? Come on now! How is that okay!? The pricing on there office also does not say anything about being charged separately like this for situations like this. I took pictures, just in case they try to add it and say it was there the whole time. Greed is a bad thing..it ends up making you loose more than it was worth.

They were dispatched by my insurance company to pick my car up at another towing/storage yard and transport to the repair shop. I received several text messages regarding their ETA being within 30 minutes and then nothing. I called my repair shop to confirm they had my car and was informed that it had not been dropped off yet. I then contacted Knight towing and was told that they did not receive the required paperwork for release of the car so they cancelled the order. No call. No update. And naturally it was a Friday, the lot storing my car closed at 4:30 and did not reopen until Monday. I contacted my insurance company and made sure that they submitted all the required paperwork and we were ready for pickup on Monday. Monday comes around and I again received text messages confirming that Knight towing had been dispatched and was on their way. Again crickets...and this happened twice that day. Both times I contacted them they said that the order had been cancelled due to missing paperwork but no attempt was made on their end to get the paperwork. I again spoke to my insurance company and re-confirmed that they had everything they needed for now, a Tuesday pickup. Tuesday comes and goes the same as Monday. Only this time when I called to see why they failed to pick up my car the woman on the phone said that they never had an order for my vehicle and had never heard my name. This was the final straw...this time I called the company that my insurance company uses to assign towing services and talked to a lovely woman who was very understanding and willing to help me. I requested that literally any company other than Knight be dispatched and she was able to make that happen. She was also able to confirm that the company had access to all required paperwork in order to pick up my car. And guess what!?! They picked up my car this morning and had it to the repair shop by 10 am. In conclusion, never call Knight Towing for fast or reliable service. Take your money elsewhere.
