I was a little leery about contacting this dealer after reading some of the reviews I had seen here on Yelp. Being a business owner myself, it always seems as though when something does not go a customer's way, they leave a bad review. It is usually very hard to get the many happy customers to take the time to leave good feedback. That being said, I decided to give Elite a shot at my business to see for myself. I am glad I did. I can speak regarding my transaction that it was hands down the best car buying experience I ever had. We had called on a total of 3 dealers trying to get an idea of pricing on a new vehicle for my wife. Though the other store's had aggressive pricing, Elite seemed to come in less then the others. But the best part was, I did not get put through the ringer just to get a price! The other dealers seemed to give me the 20 question game and 1 nearly demanded we come in just to get a price before finally giving one (that took 3 calls to get from that particular place) - Elite apparently a few months back, went to a No Hassle No Haggle Pricing style. They gave everything to us up front and did not demand 20 questions or a credit application just to get information. Now even though they did not have the exact vehicle we were looking at in stock, they offered to make the 205 mile round trip to go get the exact one my wife wanted. All with no games or issues. So we decided to make the trip to the dealership to meet in person and get our trade appraised. They were nice from beginning to end. Jay entertained our kids while we drove a similar model and he gave us almost $700 more for our trade then I was expecting. Once again, all with no issues or back and forth games. On top of them being accommodating, they give each customer that purchases a new Mazda, Toyota or Volkswagen from them, a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty for no charge. They gave us an actual written contract and certificate that covers our engine transmission and driveline for as long as we own the car. I read it from front to back and am completely satisfied with the coverage. It is a real piece of mind too. Once again, everything we asked for and more was given to us with no hassles, games or hoops to jump through. 2 days after our visit Jay called to let us know that they had made the road trip and our new vehicle was waiting for us whenever we were ready to get it. My wife and I came to the store the following day and were once again blown away. From start to finish we were in and out of the dealership in 57 minutes. Our car was full of gas, cleaned and our sales lady went over every feature to make sure we were comfortable with how everything operated. 5 stars to the sales team and Managers at Elite for going above and beyond to satisfy a customer. Now quite frankly the main reason I am even writing this review is because they earned and deserved it. But also because I spent a few minutes talking to some customers in the lounge when we were there and the other customers had similar experiences like we had! This place is really the best kept secret and I am starting to think that there competitors may be leaving these nasty reviews? For what it is worth, give Elite a shot if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle. Give them the chance to earn it. They might just surprise you and save you some money/hassle to boot! I would say as far as Toyota's go they have a fair selection. They are close to the Toyota dealership in Ohio so I thought I would give them a look. Talk about a new staff. I talked with a salesperson there and when I went back a week later he was no longer there and I noticed a new sales manager as well. I was looking for a Tundra and that they didn't have much if any of a selection but was told they could get what ever I was looking for. That's great and all, but I like to touch and see what I'm buying. Plus I have had cars brought in before and never had a great experience with it, rock chip here pin stripe there, always something. Decided to sit down and talk about prices...that's when it got interesting. Salesman was new and my guess he just started that day by the way he approached the whole scenario. He must of got up 30 times when I was asking him questions, which I thought where simple, things like warranty length and what it covered I kept getting " I'll be right back...I'll be right back". I'll be honest, I wasn't even comfortable dealing with him and when the sales manager came out well let's just so he closed the deal...for me not to buy from them. He was a bit full of himself and more interested in if I would buy today if he could do this or that. No thanks. My wife and I had been in an accident, and had to find a new car. We went to the lot looking for a Mazda CX-5. We were assisted by a salesman, Rick. He was great! It felt like we were chatting with a friend. We went for a test drive, and he gave us the information to start with so we knew what we needed when we purchased. When we arrived back to purchase, Rick remembered my wife and I by name. They went over the numbers with us, and let us know what they could help us with. They found a comparable vehicle, the Toyota Rav4, that suits us even better than what we were originally looking at. Rick traveled to Lansing that day, picked us up at home on his way back so we didn't have to worry about how to get to the dealership. By the time we got to the dealership to finish the exchange, it was near 10pm. Rick and his manager stayed to clean up the car, and stated we could bring it back in for the detailing that it didn't get. To top it all off, Rick reached back out to us the next day to make sure we were happy with our purchase. You can't find great service like this anymore!!!! read more

I came here to purchase a new car. With my lease being up, I was in the market. I was happily greeted by someone who knew what they were talking about, and who knew I'd done my research. I ended up going for a test drive and had fun. We joked about college (past times and future) and I ended up signing for my new Rav. I love my Rav. I have had it serviced here numerous times and every time they 1)remember me. 2)have me in and out in about an hour. 3)always ask how things are in my personal life, be it college or my work place. This dealership makes me think back to old times when I could go somewhere and the whole place knows my family, or my sister, asks how my mother is, etc. And they do. Because they care. I had a great expierence with the whole staff here at Elite Toyota! Paul really knows how to take care of a customer. Pros: -Large variety of vehicles to choose from -Extremely reasonable prices -did not push extra charges and fees Cons: - I really did not have any problems... As a person who shops for cars every other month, I dislike having to haggle people just to get some numbers to consider. Went to Elite after we seen Jared Henderson advertise in Facebook. Our two cars were on their last legs. So we called and asked if they would use them as some sort of trade in and he said of course. So we went down there and put Jared through his paces. We test drove 3 different cars before we found the one we wanted. The finance team went to bat for us since our credit is pretty bad. We drove away in our 2008 Lincoln MKX. They gave us above fair price for our trade ins. I would highly recommend Jared! He fallows up with us all the time. read more

Despite what other reviewers may have said, I have had a positive experience with Elite. As a Toyota owner, they have provided excellent, conscientious service to both of my vehicles. Their staff is very friendly and professional. My nephew bought a truck from their used car selection, and has been very happy with the sales department, too. While I have read some of the negative reviews, I can tell you my experience hasn't been so. They have a new management team, and they seem really committed to doing things right. Elite Toyota was very helpful, they have a huge selection and a friendly staff. When I bought my Camry salesperson Chelsea Walters was who I worked with, she was a big help with finding a car the way I wanted it. She was also very friendly and helped me manage my children by buying the pop and snacks from the vending machine while we took care of the paper work. Completely shocked at the changes. Everybody is new here. Which is great because these guys are helpful. I thought I would pay a arm and leg for a oil change,come to find out I get a 19.95 oil change.
