How livid would you be if you had to wait four hours in a waiting room because your car is getting serviced it's like 15 minutes before closing and you still haven't heard anything so finally somebody comes up inside and says are you waiting for your car and you say yes and then finally they go out and come back and say hey I tried to call you. I left you a voicemail. We couldn't service your car today because we don't have the right part. We tried calling you around 2 o'clock. It is now 556. They had his number all screwed up in their system, so My Husband waited in their waiting room for five hours without nobody checking on him or anything. not to mention when my husband and i purchased these vehicles a couple years ago from the used dealer side.. within not even a month my engine blew and they wouldn't even help me get a rental or anything I lost my job. HORRIBLE! Family members drove for 2 hours...with an appointment...to see a particular vehicle, with the intent to purchase. Got there 5 minutes early, and the vehicle was..SOLD! Disappointed and angry do not even come close to how they feel. It was 100% wrong that the manager (who the appointment was made with) did not even give them the common courtesy and decency to..wait until they arrived. THESE PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS! Bought a car that's only 4 years old. Car was listed as certified pre-owned, which means it's supposed to come with a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty. It was explained to us that's why it was listed at a premium sales price. We were paying extra for the "certified" part. Also says it went through a rigorous 172 point inspection prior to listing the car for sale. Car was making a weird noise when we test drove it, so we were going to walk away. Stupidly, we let the salesman talk us into having their repair shop take a look. An hour later they bring it back and noise is gone. They said it was some loose piece in the ceiling of the car. We naively believed him and went ahead and purchased the car. 183 miles later, the car is on the side of the road with a bad transmission. I called and spoke with the mechanic at Monroe Superstore who was extremely rude and asked if we purchased an extended warranty. I said we didn't need to because it was a CPO vehicle. He looked it up and said it wasn't and since we didn't purchase an extended warranty, it wasn't their problem. When I pulled out the paperwork that was given to us when we purchased it, they gave us a CPO folder that had a piece of paper inside that said it was sold "as is, no warranty". They completely lied to us and tried to disguise it by putting the "as is no warranty" paper inside a CPO folder that had a sticker on the front with our car's info. The car had the "certified" sticker on the windshield when it was out in their lot. Of course I didn't take a picture or screenshot the internet listing to prove it, so I have no way of proving that these guys broke the law and fraudulently sold a vehicle as CPO when it wasn't. The mechanic that fixed the transmission said that it died because there was ZERO transmission fluid in it. There were also no leaks found, so the fluid level simply hadn't been checked in a while. Also found out that the transmission had already been replaced once (which was also not disclosed to us), so this was going to be the 3rd transmission in 4 years this lemon has had. Mechanic also found a bunch of trash from the previous owner that was left under the cover for the spare tire (trunk area). What happened to the rigorous 172 point inspection? They never did it. That's what happened. Oh, and by the way, the cheapest used transmission our mechanic could find was $7k, because apparently this particular transmission is very expensive. I called around to a few places and verified the cost. Thankfully we still had the initial 90 day warranty that covered it. Since purchasing this piece of crud, I have met a couple other people who also purchased cars from Monroe Superstore and have had nearly the same experience. Their cars were lemons as well. My dad had been communicating with salesman Jermaine. Salesman told my dad he would hold the vehicle until the next day when we could make the 3 hour drive to come get the vehicle. About 20 min away from the dealership my dad received a message from Jermaine that another salesperson had sold the truck and it was no longer available. We drove nearly 3 hours under only to find out the vehicle was sold, even after Jermaine told my dad the truck would be held for him. If this is the type of business this dealership conducts, it was a blessing that my dad didn't end up buying from them. Stay away. Dishonest. The Customer service and actual vehicle service is horrible. No one is that n the same page when it comes to your service. Even after speaking to the Service Manager they still weren't on the same page I'm 3 months in to get a Uconnect nav radio head unit replaced under warranty. 1st try Nov 16th they said it would be a couple hours. After multiple calls and messages to Bridget the service advisor I had no response. Drove 30 min. to get my truck before they closed thinking it had to completed and she went home and the guy there had no clue what was going on. He told me the radio needs to be replaced and it would be $1000. I told him I let Bridget know it's under warranty. He said he couldn't let me take my own vehicle unless I paid the $112 to diagnose it. I paid it and called Glenda the service manager the next day. She was nice and got all my info and emailed me that it was approved and ordered and the $112 would go toward the deductible. That was on Nov. 21st and she said she would call when it was in to schedule the radio swap. 2.5 months later I called to find out it was there and no one had called me. I scheduled an appointment for 2-22-24 to have it replaced and my wife would drop it off. She got there and they showed nothing in the system, but when my wife explained it they checked and it was there and they would take care of it. Last night at a quarter to 7 after no call I called and they said they had not touched the radio instead they were doing recalls on the truck that needed to be done and everyone had gone home. Today I call up there at 4:30 pm and Tim the service advisor said it was ready. I didn't want anymore more confusion when I get there to pick it up so I tell him the background and he told me that Glenda was not there and that I would have to pay for the radio until they got payment on the radio from the warranty company after it's invoiced. I asked how am I suppose to get reimbursed and he said I don't know. He would try and call Glenda to see what's going on. I told him I had the email thread from her and he said he would need to still verify it with her. I emailed him the email thread with a copy of the warranty and here I am waiting to hear back at 5:12. They asked if I wanted an oil change while they worked on it and I told them no since I just had one done the day before. They did it anyways and tried to charge me. Then they tried to charge me for warranty work on a lease. What a fiascos. I had to call corporate. Told me a new compressor they ordered would be in within a week. It was months. My boyfriend bought a car in January, a 2016 Jeep Patroit. Immediately, Keith, who was the only one I have nothing negative to say about, gave us the keys and he went to start it and the car couldn't even leave the lot cause it was dead. They had to use a jumper box and Keith went in to ask for a new battery and his boss was already giving him problems about it. The car wouldn't even start so we couldn't drive it off the lot so the best business move would've been to give him a new battery. He continously brings it in their service shop for it over heating and the check engine being on. (We dealt with Sarah first). Sarah began to tell us he didn't have a warranty when he did. She then told us he actually did have a warranty. He got a "NEW ENGINE" they claimed, in May. This engine is not brand new..because it's overheating and still having the SAME EXACT ISSUES...if he has a "brand new engine" why is something still wrong with it..(pictures attached, you can see it's not a new engine). Only time we were of importance is when we made a review on Facebook and then proceeded to get hounded for, when we are upset he got sold a LEMON. YES, THEY SELL LEMONS HERE, IT'S A WHOLE LEMONADE STAND. Yesterday..he brings the car in and they start bringing us through the same loop. We get told we will get taken care of. Then they start asking how much he wants to put down?!?! Why do we have to pay anything when you literally sold him a lemon. There is a lemon law for a reason.. do you know the Lemon Law? Since Dodge maybe doesn't..please look into on your spare time, the link will be at the end of my review. Today we come in for a Loaner car cause he has to get to work. We start getting hounded about the review we made. & how Glenda (Fixed Ops Director) just "doesn't want to deal with it". She then goes to claim how she was going to be 'courteous' if we took the review down and we wouldn't have to pay for the Loaner car...but how she will NOT BE courteous if we don't take down the review. The OWNER, Ralph then comes up to us. He was one of the most unprofessional, RUDE, and unhonest people I have ever met. I have the conversation with this man on video and my videos speak for themselves. You sir, should have handled this situation better rather than hounding us about the review. You sir, have me surprised by the fact you can stay in business that long with all the BAD BUSINESS you do. I am sure you hound the others as well, to get their reviews off but this time this problem won't be swept under the rug. It will be dealt with through a lawyer now, the BBB and your higher up corporate. Thanks for denying him service cause of the reviews. It's a shame when you spend a significant amount of money on a car and they try to finagle their way out of giving you two keys for it. My salesman failed to offer that piece up until after the paperwork was signed. When I asked for the additional key to be provided, the said the manager said no. But they would be willing to go in on half with us only to find out from other dealers their half was the full price. Not a great customer experience. read more

I took my vehicle in for repair and a few days later I had a new problem with the same part. When I called them, they said it was a new problem that had nothing to do with the work they did so they wouldn't do anything for me. I don't believe they're being honest and the mechanic is actually trying to cover their a$$ but they wouldn't even look at it to confirm everything was done right. This was an expensive repair so I'm very angry and will never use them again. They're very hard to reach and VERY slow at their work. They also charged me more than they quoted me so my advice to anyone considering taking your vehicle here, is to go somewhere else. This place is horrible. One more quick example of how this place operates is, when I took my vehicle in for diagnostics, a man had been waiting for 3 hours for his trucks new tire (which he bought at this location) to have a hole plugged. The service woman told him they "couldn't find his truck", when he asked why it was taking so long. They charged him for the repair so I told him to use a tire shop in town that does free repairs like that and they're quick. He was very disgusted with the terrible service he got so this place has a history of being slow, expensive and very unhelpful. read more

You call to inquire and you would be directed to leave a message after another and when someone from the above returns your call they are sorry for you and can't do much about it and they would promise you that they will investigate it the issue and call you back by the end of the day or next day and nothing happens no calls or anything. This place is a joke. After test driving a car we loved we decided to Apply for financing on a car we both loved. This was a horrible mistake, they ran my credit 7 times. Took two days to hear back after they said it would be a hour or two. When the sales guy did call back he couldn't tell me the approving bank or the terms of the loan. Umm what? Yes you can! They tried to make us feel desperate and we had no options but to take a high interest loan. I went to another dealer and got approval right away at great interest rates. While we were finalizing our deal on our new charger we found at another dealer. The Monroe dodge dealer called and finally told us our interest rates on the 200 we applied for. A full 15pts higher then the deal we were about to sign. Stay away from this place! He was clearly marking up intreat rates so he could make more money. read more

This review is based upon my personal experience with this dealership on the new car sales side. The Google reviews on this business are mixed (seems a lot more to deal with on the servicing side, and that sales aren't generally an issue) I am currently in the market for a new vehicle, and was looking to test drive a Dodge Challenger. I had called the dealership asking about a particular model type that they stated they had in stock on their website. I called, and was transferred to a sales rep. He said "YUP!" regarding the car and when I asked who I should speak to when i came in, he gave me his name and basically hung up the call. That probably should have been my first indication that this wasn't going to go well, but I just wanted it off my todo list. I got to the dealership and asked for the sales rep by name, and he remembered my name from the earlier phone call (+1 for him). He then asked me a series of questions that were immediately frustrating. First, he asked me if I was here doing Christmas shopping. (I wasn't.) He next asked if I was buying a Challenger for someone else (I wasn't, it was for me). Then his next 2 questions involved whether I had a car to trade-in and what I did for a living. This really got to me. Half of the world is women, but a car dealer (Whose job it is to sell cars) is treating me like I couldn't possibly want to buy a Dodge Challenger for myself! And that I, a 26 year old female, was worth pre-screening to make sure that I was actually able to afford the car before letting me test drive it?!? Gross. After I met his list of qualifications of whether I was worth spending his time on, he brought the car around. He then informed me that I would not be going alone, and that he was coming along. He said the roads were "wet" and that's why he was to come along. There's a small chance it could have been store policy to ride along, but he didn't make any mention of that and hopped into the passenger seat. He then took me on a test drive that he directed (telling me what roads to turn onto, where to go, etc). and I was back at the dealer shortly thereafter. I felt extremely uncomfortable seeing as he felt I wasn't trustworthy enough to drive a car alone, and felt like he may have been judging my driving as we were going along. We sat in the parking lot for a few moments and looked at a few minor details at the car, and as I tried to leave after that, he proceeded to shuffle me inside the dealer again. He then asked for my phone number and ran some figures on the car price, etc. with the color that I liked. I shook hands with him and left, extremely frustrated that I felt like I was treated like a girl who couldn't possibly test drive a car alone. The next day, I received a call from what I believe to be their marketing department. Call seemed innocent enough, just asked what brought me in to the dealer (the location). And then gave me a call recording disclosure and started to ask me a bunch of questions about my experience, etc. even though he made no mention that he was intending on doing so. As this was early morning and I was working, I brushed him off and told him I couldn't talk now and had to go. The next day, I received a phone call from the sales rep I had seen 2 days prior. He was looking for a status update. I told him that I hadn't made any decisions, and that I didn't appreciate that I was put on a call list- he asked me then who called, what they asked, etc. and then said "Oh that must have been so and so, that wasn't me" which I clearly already knew and was just telling him that I didn't want to be a lead that continues to get called daily- and that I'd get back to him when I knew the direction I was headed in. He called this past Saturday at 9:30am looking for another update. This morning I called their regular number and asked to be removed from their call list. I'm not an idiot, I do my homework, and I was a cash buyer that they lost due to the sales rep's sexism. read more

Service department is horrible. After taking it in multiple times for the same issue, waiting 6 weeks for the part and they finally replace the part, it still is not fixed. I was told to drive it as is for a month so the computer could relearn the shift points. After having a different dealership look at it, I was told Monroe Jeep did not fill the transmission fluid (it was about 2-1/2 qts low) after they replaced a part for the transmission. I had to track down my service advisor every time for updates. Did not get return calls. Very poor follow up. Mechanic also does not know the difference from an engine air filter and the cabin air filter. If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not go here for any kind of maintenance or service. read more

took my ram in for warranty work they had the truck for 6 weeks for a book 4 hr. job. when I picked the truck up it was not fixed had to take it back then they tried to charge me my deductible again. I paid them to grease my front driveline to the 4x4 they charged me and then when I seen there was no grease anywhere they said it don't need grease and then wouldn't refund my money they charged me to grease something they said didn't require grease. I also had issues with the radio speakers driver side door not working they said the warranty company don't cover that and when I called the warranty company they said they do cover any audio issues that are stock. when I told the service manager that he said I would have to pay them to fix it because he knows the warranty won't pay to fix it. there are several more issues that I won't go in to but I will never go back to that untrustworthy lying dishonest disrespectful place again. I left several messages for the lying service manager to call me and 3 months later I still haven't heard from him. I left messages for the owner to call me as they took my money for a service they didn't do and then said the truck didn't require that service so where's my money back!!!! and of course the owner has never called me. this company is a joke and will lie to you steal your money do yourself a favor and go anywhere else other than Monroe Dodge!!!! this company sucks read more

This one was above and beyond anything we could have ever experienced when it comes to service! Tynan helped us and seriously he was the NICEST person ever!!!!!! We were there for a while, and we had kids with us, and they were bored so Tynan went to the gas station and surprised the kids with some candy. He also put a Disney movie on his computer for them to watch while they waited. The store also stayed open for almost 2 hours past closing to finish helping us purchase a car. Honestly, we will come here for all future purchases because we are just blown away at how kind and helpful EVERYONE was that works here! Best service ever!!!! Tried to put an offer for which I thought was fair on a car. I had my own financing and everything ready to go. This dealer wouldn't budge at all on their pricing. So if you are going there make sure you are willing to just pay what they list it for and no less. Especially since they had been sitting on this car for a few months, the salesman couldn't find the car and when it was finally found. It wouldn't start when it was being showed to me. A few years ago I purchased a jeep grand cherokee there and after a few months I started having problems with my gauges they would just drop out and not work in the middle of driving. When I took it in (still under warranty ) they said that they couldn't find the problem and for me to bring it in when it was happening again so I did 2 more times and still they could find the problem it just seemed to correct itself after a few hours or days I insisted that they make note of all my visits for this issue so that if it still happened after the warranty was up they would have to fix it because it was a preexisting problem. We'll it happened a few months after my warranty was up the instrument Cluster finally stopped working and I took it back in for them to fix...... And guess what they claimed to have no record of my previous visits for this issue and that it would cost me 70 some dollars just to look at it plus what ever it would cost to fix it.. How convenient for them!!!! They played stupid just so they wouldn't have to eat the cost because their service people where incapable of finding and fixing my vehicle's issue to begin with... For that reason I will never buy a vehicle from them and have already detoured about 6 people from purchasing car there. I recently bought a new jeep and drove about 30 minutes south to Toledo to get it. I just don't get this dealership, they make it very hard to do business with them. When I tried to purchase a vehicle through them 10 months ago New Car Sales was useless. Essentially, if they don't have the vehicle on the lot, which is very possible since their stock is pretty limited, the customer is out of luck...they wouldn't lift a finger to find the vehicle I was looking for. Fine, I just ran up to a Chrysler superstore north of Detroit and got exactly what I wanted cheaper than I could have at Monroe anyway, but with the intent of having it serviced locally at this dealership. Unfortunately my experience with the Service Department isn't much better. I brought my vehicle in for service for minor warranty work, including a recall service that should take less than 10 minutes. I left the vehicle for the entire day but was told they couldn't complete the recall service because their machine broke down, but they advised to simply bring my vehicle back another morning and leave it for awhile as the work would only take 10 minutes. I didn't have a problem with that, I understand things happen. However, when I brought the vehicle back they insisted I needed an appointment that wasn't available for another 2 weeks. They didn't care that I had already left the vehicle for an entire day and they failed to service the recall, or that I was told to just bring it back one morning and leave it, or that the service only takes 10 minutes. I don't want to criticize an entire staff, the initial service was acceptable even though all the work wasn't done. But the subsequent service was horrible, almost as if they were sending me a message that I should purchase the vehicle at their dealership to be treated right...which brings me back to the original problem. If their New Car Sales wasn't so lazy, I would have gladly purchased my 50K vehicle and extended warranty from them in the first place. read more

I had a coupon for an oil change. So I decided to give this business a try. Most of the dealerships near me have closed and I didn't feel like going all the way back to where I originally bought my van, so I ended up driving to this place. It is not that close to my home but I figured with the super price of this oil change it would be worth it. Boy was I wrong!! These bandits try their darndest to sell you everything else. And to make matters worse the man that wrote up the order told me the coupon was good for up to 5 quarts of oil and that I took 5 and 1/2. It didn't seem right to me but I figured I'd deal with it later. He told me to have a seat in the waiting room and it would be about 30 minutes. I told him to tell the person who's going to to the oil change NOT to roll down my window on the passengers side because there's no guarantee it's going to come back up. He said he'd take care of it. Before I went into their waiting room I noticed their board with all the prices on it. I thought my God they are between 5-8 higher then the dealership I use to go to. I didn't say nothing at this point and went and sat in their waiting room. I figured next time I'd just go back to my usual place even though it is a distance to drive. There was a woman that came in after me and her service man was like a fly on cake. He was trying to get her too to get other services done. She was only in for an oil change as well. I didn't say nothing but I sure was doing a lot of thinking. My old dealership doesn't conduct themselves like these people do. First impressions mean a lot to me, and they were off on the wrong foot as far as I was concerned. After about 45 minutes they finally told me I was ready to go and to go pay the cashier. I did and noticed my van was parked out in their lot and it was so dusty. I asked her about a car wash. I told her that most dealerships give free washes. She said that's only if they aren't busy and plus she said I would have to "request" it. As I was paying I noticed and extra $1.00 charge. She said that's to cover all the extras like the disposal of the oil and any fluids they had to put in. My old dealership NEVER charged me for nothing other then what I was paying for. When I got out in my van I noticed that telling that service man NOT to roll down my window was a waste of my breath. Lucky for them that the window went back up. Later that evening I looked in my owners manual to find that my van only took 4 and 1/2 quarts of oil and I was determined to get a refund. The manager the next day just blew it off and said in a crude way she was sorry and she'd just CREDIT me the balance due and apply it to the next time I was in. I thought I'm never coming back. She and I even had different totals of what the real refund should have been. I even told her about the window incident and it was like no big deal to her. A couple of days later I find my license plate frame laying on the floor in my back seat. Now I was livid. I called and wouldn't you know it the manager was gone and wasn't due back till the next week. She called me before I could call her and she left a message saying she was doing a "follow-up". I called her back and told her about the license plate deal and how I decided not to come back. I told her just sent me a check for the amount she owed me. She said that would be $2.00. I told her it was $2.25 PLUS tax. She said they had to account for the POSTAGE to send it to me. My thought was why should I have to be penalized for their mistake? My refund came a couple of days later but not in a check. They sent CASH. Unbelievable!! Never again. I'm just waiting now to receive their survey questionnaire they told me they were going to be sending. If and when I receive it I'm hoping it's from their headquarters.....otherwise I'm throwing it in file 13. And if I do get one from their headquarters I'm going to tell them if their service men took less time rolling down windows and switching license plate frames they may have more time to wash the customers vehichles!! Don't go to this dealership......think twice and maybe even another time no matter how impressive their coupon offers may be. read more

I like the Monroe superstore. Jeremy Jenning's is a friend of mine and a great new car sales person. I would recommend seeing him and if you think about to tell him I recommended you. They are a great dealer ship. Get a lot of my work done on my Jeep Wrangler there but sometimes it is pricier to get dealer ship work and when that's the case I go else where. I just had some recall work done on my Jeep Friday and the service guy quoted me 2-5 hours to get the job done. I thought that was kind of a big time gap and thought it should have been more precise but to top it off it took 7 hours and I had to call them 3 times to find out when it was going to be done. I think the guy I was dealing with was new however but that is important to me. I want to be kept up to date on my vehicle as that affects my plans so for the service department I give them 2 stars and say they need to keep their customers up to date and call back in a timely manner. They do offer shuttle service which I think is nice and important to me as I could need that service this last time I did not. Lol glad I didn't decide to wait there for this last job ie the 7-hour job. read more

Brought my 2017 Ram 2500 in for a check engine light. The code P0828 was for an issue I've had since I purchased the truck over a year ago and always comes on when towing. In California I took it in and they rebuilt the transmission for free under the power train warranty. Driving to Michigan the code came back under the same conditions. Took it to this dealer and showed them the code and they set an appointment for a week and a half away to make sure their transmisión guy will be there. Fast forward to my appointment and they were very difficult. I showed them the receipt from the dealer in California. DJ brought me to a manager and the manager urged me to take it back to the dealer where I had it done. I informed him it would be a very long drive back to California. He said he confused me for a customer from the north. Then he said I may have to hook up my 5th wheel to get the code to come back. I informed him that it's a big task to pack up just to get the code back. He then informed me his transmission guy is out for training. I informed him I was given this specific date so that he'll be here. He looked at the schedule and found out he was there. DJ then took me outside and showed me that there was no codes stored. I reminded him that I brought the car in a week and a half ago and showed him the code. At this point I was annoyed that every step had been so difficult. Picked up my loaner and left a little annoyed. Was called 3 days later and they stated that it should be a sensor that they think is under warranty and recommended that I get a transmission service. I told them that it was just rebuilt in California. The employee Terry said that I do not know if they changed the filter and I should get it done because any future repairs may not be covered as maintenance was not kept up. I found this outlandish. I believe he was making this up as he goes in order for me to spend $500 for a trans service. In what world will a dealership rebuild a transmission and not change the filter? I passed on the scheme. Got a call later on and was informed that it was a sensor and my vehicle was ready. Picked up my truck at no charge. The transmission specialist came out to speak with me and he was great. Gave me some good info and I can tell he was genuine. He is the reason I gave this dealer 2 stars and not 1. I can see how easily they can convince a customer with minimal auto knowledge to fork out extra money for unnecessary repairs and maintenance. Acts like this give the auto repair industry a bad name. I also checked my receipt from CA and saw that the filter was changed. read more

I did like my car salesman, Juan, but my issue is I gave them a max price and they failed to find me anything in my price range... I finally found a car I really liked (after a month of looking with them) and we agreed on price. We stayed till after they closed and agreed I would come back Monday to file paperwork and pick it up. I get home and they sold it that day to someone else. I wouldn't go there ever again. They try to give you something over your max and obviously don't stick to their word when they tell you they will hold a car for you to pick it up later. Poor management. read more

This dealer ship has ok customer service until something needs to get done. They quote your for one day diagnostics that takes four. Then when they get to work on the vehicle of mine they end up denting my door that they were not even working on. They were suppose to replace my mirror but they ended up just taking the cover off and putting in a new sensor instead and didnt even put the cover back on u had to go back through and double check their work. Then come back in to town after a work conference and they say cause it was a week ago they can't do nothing about it being dented. 0 out of five read more
