    Allen Cadillac claimed the engine was washed and cleaned before shipping the vehicle. What a disgrace to the name Cadillac.

    My worst car buying experience ever, and an embarrassment to the name of Cadillac! I'm from California and was interested in the Diesel model of the Escalade. Diesel models are hard to come by in the west coast, but I was able to find one at Allen Cadillac of Monroe Michigan. I was dealing with Salesman Mike Johnson and paid FULL asking price since he didn't want to negotiate a single penny off the listed price. Upon taking possession of the vehicle at my residence via semi truck delivery at 11:30pm on a Saturday night, I immediately noticed the vehicle was missing its floor mats (PROBABLY STOLEN BY DEALERSHIP STAFF OR TRUCK DRIVER), I also noticed that neither of the speakers on the front doors are working. Both driver and passenger side speakers were blown out, and the engine bay looked like the hood was left open while sitting in a sandstorm. ( Mike said he had their detail shop wash the engine prior to shipping) you be the judge and look at photo attached, does it look like they made any attempts to clean the engine bay? He was blowing smoke up my a**! Upon notifying Mike Johnson about these concerns, he promised he would make it right to where I'm happy with my purchase. Well guess what, I had to pay to clean the engine out of pocket, Mike ordered me some off brand floor mats from Amazon instead of sending original Cadillac mats, and a runaround every time I inquired to him about replacing the speakers at my local Cadillac at their expense. I figured since the vehicle came out of their dealership that way and I couldn't get any negotiating off asking price they would be kind enough to accommodate the speaker repair. (Yeah right! ) They're the cheapest and worst penny-pinching dealership I've ever dealt with, and the worst customer service I've experienced. I thought Cadillac would uphold higher standards for customer satisfaction. Furthermore, during the signing process I advised Mike I won't buy the vehicle unless I get a extended warranty for the Engine, Suspension, transmission and electrical. Mike swore up and down that I have nothing to worry about as they have an excellent extended warranty company which they use all the time who is really good (PROTECTIVE). Asking for $4500 on 48k Miles or 4 years whichever is first. So I trusted Mike and paid for the warranty. Now that I have the vehicle and called protective to get more information on warranty claims, guess what, they said they won't even cover the headlight if it went out. Lousy and terrible extended warranty Ide say. I was lied to about the so called excellent Warranty company, left to dry on the speaker replacement, and have to pay out of pocket to buy Cadillac Floor mats. My experience was something I would expect from a small mom pop auto sales dealer, but not a Cadillac dealer. I will be sharing my experience with GM and Cadillac headquarters. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! THEY PROMISE THE WORLD TO SELL THE CAR, AFTER SIGNING YOU WILL FIND OUT YOU WERE LIED TO!

    Updating review. Representative sent my husband an email apologizing for the poor service. They did remove a re-sticking fee if the windshield glass that was not installed at their facility due to installer not being available. Also they deducted $75.00 off the invoice for not detailing our suv. So overall I'm happy to see they acknowledged the complaint and did something fair.
