Honestly its hard to expect a lot when you go to a walk in clinic or an urgent care. This place went above and beyond expectations in my opinion. Not having insurance can make going to a doctor a nerve racking experience. The cost was reasonable (125), they were thorough : tested blood ,sent me for an xray (also decently priced), i even got a steroid butt shot. They were kind and the wait was practically nonexistent. I have new health insurance, and can't see a regular Doctor until 2017, so on 12/03/16, I had sharp pains on the right side of my stomach and needed to be seen. The Doctor figured out it was a pulled muscle and she also checked my ears and noticed a start of an ear infection. I live in Tracy but went to this facility because it is one of the few that takes Health Plan of San Joaquin. I took my son here back in early November because of a persistent cough. He was seen by Dr. Amrik S. Basi after waiting about 15 mins. Dr. Basi is very thorough and explained to us what was happening to my son. After a blood test and other screening procedures, he was able to pin point to us in detail what is happening to my son, and that he has encountered this type viral infection many times before. He said there is one special treatment that works that included steroids that seems to work by lowering the body's resistance to enable it to react to the viral infection (surprisingly, since one's mind would be to increase the body's resistance). I preface this review of Elite urgent care by saying I don't like Drs. But.... What a fabulous experience. I had a bug bite on Tuesday and it progressed into an abscess . They got me in very quickly the staff was phenomenal. Dr. Bassi was so professional as well as Francesco who assisted. I had to take my husband to urgent care last week because of a terribly painful sore throat. Not "urgent care" regulars, we chose this new one to go to. I wasn't very impressed with the driver desk nurse, kind of snooty but the male nurse that took us back was very nice and kind. We were 1 of 2 patients in the building but had to wait about an hour to see the dr. Even with the long wait, the doctor was well worth it. Most just kind of treat you like cattle but the dr here did not. Even helped my husband with an ear problem he has been having for over a year! Once we had the attention the dr and nurse were very attentive and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone; just wish the wait wasn't as long. read more

Enjoyed going here today. I burnt my finger and was having major pain. Very nice, very clean, very professional. I felt the doctor really listened to my problem and took my pain seriously. I really apreciated that. Also, he sent me with a couple days worth of dressing change materials without even asking. I waited a little Long in the room, but then again I called at 245 and they get me in by 315. And the wait was in the exam room an the wait wasn't very long. read more

Best experience I've ever had at any urgent care facility! Staff is friendly, professional, and they all gave prompt service. The nurse came in took my vitals, not long there after, the doc came in. He did not seem rushed even though I know he had a few other patients waiting. Great bedside manner!! He went over in detail what my symptoms meant and even gave me remedy options! He had to step out while I changed into a robe, and normally docs take forever to come back in, and I was dreading that, but he said he'd be back in 5, and he was! Worse bedside manner from a physician. We waited for quite some time before my daughter was seen by the doctor. He finally came in, apologize for the wait, asked about why my daughter was there; she started to explain to him her ailments, and I mentioned to her, to make sure and tell him all her issues; and he interrupted me and said, 'I don't have time to get to all that.' I'm very busy today.' At that point we should have walked out. There really was no reason for that response. It's an urgent care. This place is awesome! I hate to give them good reviews for fear of everybody going there, but that would just be selfish :-) Our friends came in from SoCal and one got heat exhaustion really bad. We called and the doctor said to bring her in ASAP. She went in and got top-notch service, including a anti-nausea shot, labs, and IV fluids. She was in-&-out of there in no time and was SO thankful for not having to go to the ER on the 4th of July. She was instantly better! read more

NOT GOOD AT ALL. Their receptionist was VERY rude this afternoon around 12pm. I went in and asked for information to get to a facility in the building and she rudely said "there is a map outside." ( I didn't see the map) when she could have simply told me exactly where it was (as It was only down the hall after I finally found it). I asked her where the map was exactly because "its outside" is very vague statement; and she just kept telling and pointing "it's outside." VERY rudely. Her attitude with the previous patient before me was also rude as he was confused and needed clarity on his situation and she was just short and vague with him. I'm sure she could have helped him if she tried, had patience with him, and really want to help him. Also, a lady in the waiting room that was in a wheel chair asked the receptionist 2 times that she needed help to her car, and the receptionist said "is there anyone here to help you?" the little old lady in a wheel chair obviously didn't have anyone if she was asking for ASSISTANCE. I am very angry at how they treat their patients. I do not recommend this urgent care to ANYONE. PLEASE do not go to this urgent care, they are lazy, rude, and don't want to help you. I can't imagine how they treat a patients behind doors if they treated a little old lady very badly in public eye. this receptionist needs to be fired. People go to urgent cares for help and are obviously not there on their best day. Patient care is KEY, and this office doesn't practice it. read more

I called ahead of time to ask how much it would cost to get bloodwork done to check hormone levels and the receptionist said it would be $125. I am only then seen by the physician to be told the cost of the bloodwork which I was informed I just paid for. I paid $125 for the physician to tell me how much more I needed to pay. I explained the misunderstanding in how I was informed that the bloodwork would be $125 and that I wanted a refund. The physician, and owner, quickly became ill tempered and asked if I really thought we were going to go in there and get free bloodwork done. I explained that when my partner went in a couple weeks prior to get bloodwork done, she was only charged for the procedure and not the base fee. He replied that they only did that sometimes. I'm not quite sure in the determining factor in that. He then told us to get our money and leave. I was very calm in the conversation while he conversed in a very unprofessional manner. I would not recommend giving your money to a business ran by an owner with such a hostile and unprofessional attitude. read more

I took my son yesterday because he had abscessed tooth. Dr. Bassi looked at him and prescribed Penicillin. Today after giving him a second dose of his meds, we noticed he has developed a rash. So we called Dr. Bassi to change his medication. To my surprise he wanted us to pay him additional $125 to change his medication and he told us that "he was in business to make money, not to do charity work" I am disgusted by this I couldn't believe what I just heard from this moron. We just paid him $125 yesterday for him to see my son for 5 minutes and now he claiming he is not doing any charity work???????? Very impressed!! My husband and I are both ER nurses. We have both been coughing our heads off for a week & feeing very tired. We have tried everything over the counter. Delsym, Mucinex DM, NyQuil, etc. No fever. We came in to be seen at 3pm on a Sunday. Only 2 other people in the waiting room! What a relief! Short wait and seen in a spotless room that resembles an ER. Had blood taken to check for elevated white count (which I have). Seen by Dr. Basi, the owner! On a Sunday! As a medical professional, I felt like Dr. Basi is both caring and efficient, and he treated our symptoms aggressively. He gave us breathing treatments, steroids, & prescription cough syrup. We appreciate being given stronger meds after trying everything at home. Highly recommend!! Also his staff was skilled and fast at both the blood draw and the shot! No pain! Great experience at this urgent care. Cheaper than the Kaiser insurance ER copay. Which is $150 for an ER visit. Not to mention the long wait then the shuffle to different stations in kaisers ER. Worst care ever my 4yr old needed an Iv and the nurse lady was brought in to assist the guy nurse and she was no help at all she laughed the whole time at his reaction to getting a the tv and when I asked her what was funny about him getting an iv and she said his reaction . I'm 8 months pregnant and she requested that I put my 1yr old down to hold my 4 yr old needless to say that they guy attempted to do the iv but from the lack of help he was unable to to make a long story short nothing was done and this visit was a complete waste of time. If I could give this place half a star, I would. My girlfriend went to get a check up and it took about 3 hours just to get passed the front desk! Don't even get me started on how long it took the doctor to come into her room. Then she assumed her sexuality like c'mon folks we're in 2017! To add things up she didn't even give her a correct diagnosis. What asian doctor doesn't know the difference between a canker sore and a cold sore? My girlfriend had canker sores in her mouth and the doctor thought it was herpes! The herpes virus causes cold sores not canker sores... she even drew her blood and gave her a prescription. I broke my hand on a Saturday night and went here Sunday to have it looked at by the doctor. I did not want to have to wait in the emergency room just for a broken hand. I went here and was seen by a Dr. Bassi. He was amazing! He had me splinted up and on my way home within an hour from walking through the front door on a Sunday! The only reason I am giving them four stars instead of five is because when I returned on Monday for my follow up I seen a nurse practitioner who did not seem to know what was going on. I waited almost 2 hours just for her to tell me my hand was broken, which Dr. Bassi had already told me Sunday and that they were referring me to a specialist. The staff is great besides the actual Doctor. I came to this Urgent Care based mainly off of reviews. On the plus side they took my insurance and it seemed as if they handled workers comp based off their website if that was the route I wanted to pursue. The Doctor sent me to get x-rays and after finding out my ankle was broken I told the Doctor immediately that I was going to pursue workers compensation. After my initial visit I came back a few days later to have documentation filled out, so I could report the type of injury to work and state when I could go back. The Doctor loses his marbles and states he wasn't going to handle it until an actual claim number was given. Fine! My bad I didn't know what the hell else I needed! It's not like I have done this before! Geez! I drive back again from TURLOCK mind you with the claim number this time and the Doctor pulls the I am not filling out that documentation card. His petty excuse was because it was after the fact. This Doctor then sends me to the first floor to attempt to get a Medical Group to fill out the documentation for him. They laughed! Long story short I had to start over by being seen all over again by them, because that doctor was a joke! read more

I went to Elite Urgent care just yesterday. I'm not a yelper (other than to read other reviews to decide where to eat) but I had to share what a wonderful office this was. I got a tragus piercing a week ago. I woke up on Sunday morning and soon realized the jewel was INSIDE of my ear. Frantic and upset I called the first urgent care facility that came up and thank goodness it was here! The staff was so friendly and calming. The office itself was beautiful and more importantly immaculately clean. Dr. Basi came to take care of me within 15 minutes of waiting and was AWESOME! He was gentle and salvaged my ear! It was no easy task and would've been easy to take a scalpel to it but instead he was patient and finessed it out. I am forever thankful. He took extra precautions to make sure I won't get an infection and even called today to see how I was doing. True customer service which is hard to find these days.
