I ordered steak n cheese subs and hot chips. The chips were extremely hard and old. My lettuce for my sub (put in a condiment container) tasted like onions so I guess it was cut with a dirty knife used to cut onions. I/4 of the sub was soggy and not appetizing. In their heyday I remember Elizabeth's pizza being amazing for their pizza and subs. I would go with my family frequently for dinners, enjoying everything on the menu. Fast forward to now and I hardly recognize the food. It's frankly bland. Tons of cut corners with greasy texture everywhere. The subs are ridiculously priced for what they make. Nothing you couldn't get much better at a very cheaper price elsewhere. I ordered the Italian sausage sub, philly cheese steak, and a grilled chicken romaine salad. The subs had very little flavor. No toasted crunchy bread, only stale white bread that was spongy with grease. The peppers and sausage had no seasoning except for maybe burnt leftovers on the grill. The philly cheese steak had cheddar cheese and was slightly better seasoned but was nothing good. The salad had a weird chemically after taste like it had been cleaned with soap or had some weird preservatives. Reminded me of McDonald's salads. The only flavor the chicken had was lemon which was disappointing. I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Even those who have nostalgia will be surely disappointed. Only recommend to your enemies in hopes of terrible stomach issues that is plaguing me after eating here. read more

This is my favorite Elizabeth's location. Enjoyed some pizza outside while the weather is nice! I always get pizza, the Elizabeth's special. Super good thin crust pizza with perfect crust. They have plenty of options and their menu is far from limited, lots of Stromboli and pasta options. Their antipasto salad and the Greek salad are great options if you're not in the mood for pizza or pasta. I grab salads from here to go often. Everything I've had has been good. By far my favorite thing on the menu: the garlic knots. They are so good. But we warned they are super garlicky! read more

Pretty decent food. I did a take out order for a meat sauce spaghetti. The portion was large! I liked that. It came with bread which is nice. The servers and hostess were very polite. So the pasta, the basil was overpowering. The pasta were cooked well, but I just wasn't a fan of the sauce. A bit too greasy for my liking. Have on their website about lunch specials - called and went to place my order for the lunch special only for the owner to insist that I am mistaken and there is no lunch special on saturdays. I told him to check the site because it says there is and he continued to tell me I was wrong and on the wrong site. He then saw where it said it was available on saturdays and said "oh I see it - well do you want to still order" i asked if I could get the lunch special since I was correct and he said no. Will never be going there again and will go to Marios. Much better customer service and food. read more

I came here with a group of people from Guilford College, and we enjoyed it. It is a small Italian place akin to pizzeria's in the NE such as NY and NJ. I ordered the slice of pizza and salad special which was about 9.00 . The food was good, the pizza was definitely not New York style but as far as pizza goes, it was pretty good. I am not a fan of corn meal on pizza, and it seemed there was corn meal on the bottom of the crust. Not bad, but didn't satisfy the pizza snob in me. The salad was a regular old salad you can get anywhere and make yourself. It was nice, the dressing was good. They serve bread after you sit down, which was a nice feature. The bread was ok. Nothing really special except for the fact that a small place like this does something like that. As far as the customer service goes, we had a very nice server, and she did a great job handling our orders and had a pleasant sense of humor. We got our orders in a timely manner and she also did a great job refilling our water. Overall, I would probably give this place another try given that they have a diverse menu. But so far its decent, if a bit overpriced, in addition to the fact that I am a pizza snob and the pizza wasn't my favorite. read more

This place must have changed ownership from the last time I went. The service and food was not necessarily "bad" but it sure shit wasn't like this before... Either the waitress was very tired or high? She mumbled half the time. Speed of service was good. But when you serve beer in a restaurant and offer a "cold mug" for the first beer.. Do it for the second beer too.. And third.. And fourth.. Anyone can look at the damn glass and see if it's frosted or not. Pizza was odd. Vegetarian pizza with big chunks of vegetables. Absolutely horrible service, I ordered lasagna from door dash. They gave only 1/4 of the normal portion if you were to go there yourself. It barely covered the bottom of the pan. I brought the food back. They refused to give me a refund. I normally come here once a week. After this experience I don't see that happening anymore. read more

I'm giving it 4 stars, but really, that is probably 4 stars for lunch and 3 for dinner. I've lived in the triad area for about 25 years on and off, but mostly on. For that entire duration, Elizabeth's pizza has been the local pizza and italian chain of note. In that time, I think I can probably tell you everything you'd want to know about any of the locations on the map. In my opinion, this one at Quaker Village along with the Lawndale location are the two best. For me... though I have been for dinner time to time, I would prefer to go elsewhere for a traditional Italian meal. A lot of the entrees can be disappointing with the occasional one that is really good out of nowhere. Of course, if you are wanting pizza or a calzone for dinner, you have picked a pretty good spot... just the entrees are a bit meh to me. Lunch though, they have great lunch specials, particularly this location. All lunch specials include a fountain drink or tea, and where appropriate, some bread and olive oil/butter. There are some stars here that you won't find listed prominently on the menu... I speak of their panini offerings. There is a "Tuscano" which is pesto, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzerella, grilled onions, and season chicken on foccacia bread... and there is a "Calabrese" which is italian sausage, sauteed spinach and onion, roasted red peppers, and fresh mozzerella. Also, unlike other lunch offerings where you pay extra for fries or hot chips, these sandwiches include hot chips with ranch. To my knowledge this is the only location that offers these sandwiches. To sum up, I like most of the Elizabeth's locations for hot subs and sandwiches, pizza, and basic italian dishes like lasagna or chicken parm... but I would bring a date elsewhere for a romantic italian meal. read more

My favorite restaurant! This is the best Elizabeth's. I feel the atmosphere is nicer, more relaxed here, and everyone is very nice. Every time I go (which is a lot) I always get pizza. Their pizza is amazing! I think the pizza tastes different at the other ones, this one is just perfect to me. I am a ranch + pizza girl and their ranch is the bomb. The ranch at the other elizabeths or pizza doesn't compare and when those are two of my favorite combos- we have a winner here. As far as other food there I never get it but people I go with usually do and never complain. read more

We are in town from Louisiana for the US Southern Regional Soccer tournament. After our late game Friday, most of our team & patents showed up-unannounced-and Elizabeth's took us right in. Shannon & the owner took care of us very efficiently and with smiles. Food was great and we were fed and out within an hour and a half. Great brews on tap; very nice location. Highly recommended! Well besides the manager being rude to us, as well as to his wait staff, we didn't feel that the quality of the food was very good. My husband got a meatball sub and said he's had better at Subway. I had a salad and the chicken was "off". It tasted as if it had been made days before and was stale. The other thing I thought was odd was how the booths are so short, my shoulders were touching the guy behind me, and it was weird to be so close to another table, inside of a booth. I wouldn't recommend this place for atmosphere or quality of food. read more

Good service stopped in for lunch, cute decor, cozy location and clean restaurant - all those were good. Lunch portions are pretty small however if you have kids this may be a good fit. Not much flavor on the most basic dish shrimp Alfredo. Dish came with the tails which isnt a big deal but only five shrimp was disappointing...however it was a lunch meal & they were jumbo shrimp. My honey bun ordered a Chicken Parmesan. I had a steak calzone with mushrooms, green peppers, spinach and onions. My veggies weren't cooked at all. Had the Veal Marsala, in the words of Gordon Ramsey, it was absolutely dreadful. This had to be microwaved. It was scalding hot, the Veal was overdone, the pasta was overdone.. There was sauces on one end of the plate, none anywhere else. I've had frozen microwavable pasta from the grocery store that tasted better than this. I do go to the one on wendover all the time and like that one. This one is closer to my house, so I figured it would be the same. Never again! read more
