    Grilled Chicken romaine salad
    Zack A.

In their heyday I remember Elizabeth's pizza being amazing for their pizza and subs. I would go with my family frequently for dinners, enjoying everything on the menu. Fast forward to now and I hardly recognize the food. It's frankly bland. Tons of cut corners with greasy texture everywhere. The subs are ridiculously priced for what they make. Nothing you couldn't get much better at a very cheaper price elsewhere. I ordered the Italian sausage sub, philly cheese steak, and a grilled chicken romaine salad. The subs had very little flavor. No toasted crunchy bread, only stale white bread that was spongy with grease. The peppers and sausage had no seasoning except for maybe burnt leftovers on the grill. The philly cheese steak had cheddar cheese and was slightly better seasoned but was nothing good. The salad had a weird chemically after taste like it had been cleaned with soap or had some weird preservatives. Reminded me of McDonald's salads. The only flavor the chicken had was lemon which was disappointing. I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Even those who have nostalgia will be surely disappointed. Only recommend to your enemies in hopes of terrible stomach issues that is plaguing me after eating here.

    Elizabeth's Special Pizza

My absolute favorite pizza in all of Greensboro is Elizabeth's. We always get the Elizabeth's Special minus green pepper and it is sensational! We've also tried the various locations throughout the city and always find ourselves coming back to Quaker Village. Their pies are baked to perfection.

I stopped by Elizabeth's and had my order taken promptly. The Salad arrived in no time and was frankly better than expected. I'll be back for another without a doubt.

This is my favorite Elizabeth's location. Enjoyed some pizza outside while the weather is nice! I always get pizza, the Elizabeth's special. Super good thin crust pizza with perfect crust. They have plenty of options and their menu is far from limited, lots of Stromboli and pasta options. Their antipasto salad and the Greek salad are great options if you're not in the mood for pizza or pasta. I grab salads from here to go often. Everything I've had has been good. By far my favorite thing on the menu: the garlic knots. They are so good. But we warned they are super garlicky!

Built On Own Veggie - Awesome.

In our estimation, this is the best, and most consistent of this local, family chain. The 2 pizzas we ordered recently were absolutely perfect, in every way - crust, sauce, freshness of the toppings, and the cheese was great, as well. In fact, these were the very best pizzas we've had outside of NYC! One of the pizzas was cheese, pepperoni, and green peppers, and the other was a veggie we built from the available choices. They simply nailed both! Eccellente!

    The pasta

Pretty decent food. I did a take out order for a meat sauce spaghetti. The portion was large! I liked that. It came with bread which is nice. The servers and hostess were very polite. So the pasta, the basil was overpowering. The pasta were cooked well, but I just wasn't a fan of the sauce. A bit too greasy for my liking. However I would return because my overall experience was good.

Sicilian pizza taste frozen. New York style was okay but crust could have been cooked longer.

The vibe here reminds me of "Cheers," where everyone knows your name. The restaurant is in a 1950s renovated service station and was transformed into a neighborhood bar. I like the large glass windows and copper ceiling tiles in the dining area. There is a bar next to the dining area, and some outdoor seating, too. They even have a parking lot in the front and another in the back of the restaurant. You seat yourself, and someone will bring you a menu. Since I discovered this hidden gem a few years ago, when all the other restaurants were closed around New Year's Eve except for Corner Slice and Fisher's Grill, I make a point of returning again and again, as I just love it here. It is usually my first stop in town, and I look forward to my large margherita pizza with balsamic glaze. I'm not sure why I look at the menu, as I always order the same thing. But I am still given time to look over the menu, just in case. The pizza has a thin, crispy crust that was so good I managed to eat all but two slices! I highly recommend adding the glaze; it really makes the flavors pop. A lot of the specialty pizzas are named after neighborhood streets. The Elm, Bessemer, Hendrix, Leftwich, Isabel, and Magnolia. The Park and Fishers Finest are named after the area. The neighborhood bar has 14 rotating beer taps. There is a large selection of appetizers, including wings, grilled cheese, chicken tenders and some dips. If you aren't in the mood for pizza, they have a good variety of salads and subs. Service is top-notch here, and the staff is so welcoming and attentive. The prices are reasonable, too. I like that they brought out a plate and silverware with the pizza tray. I am already looking forward to my next margherita pizza. If I lived closer, I'd be eating here every week!

She was very nice, but only filled our drinks one time and didn't ask us if we wanted any other drinks. The pizza was delicious, but it came out cold as if they didn't serve it right away. I would go back but maybe on a different night to see what the service was like on another day. Overall, it was an OK experience.

The interior is large and open with plenty of tables, a fun bar with TVs, and a really nice patio. Parking is easy with a dedicated lot that has more than enough space. The bar menu is bigger than expected with craft beer, a wide range of wines and specialty cocktails, even craft beer flights if you want to try a few. The food menu offers a solid variety as well, including appetizers, salads, meatballs, pasta, and of course their wood fired pizzas. The brick oven is huge and puts out some serious heat! I went with the Rustica on this visit. Prosciutto, mushrooms, roasted garlic cloves, artichoke hearts, and kalamata olives. Everything was portioned well and the flavors were great. The crust leaned just a tad bit dry and well done, but overall it was a very tasty pizza I'd happily order again. Brixx is a strong option for a quick lunch, happy hour with friends, or a relaxed outing with family. I'm glad I finally tried it and I could definitely see myself returning.
