The service was done correctly because no leaks, no error codes since my windshield needed calibration for all the security features that came with the vehicle. Even gave me a certificate that it was done correctly! Value, I paid nothing out of pocket due to the new vehicle warranty. Drop off was painless and hassle-free. Waiting area was fine with areas to remote work. Service was done in less the time originally planned which is great without compromising quality. Worst customer service. Just because you have a Tesla you have to take it to them so I did but they had the wrong glass and I tried to call them three days prior many times and it's impossible to talk to a human so when I got there they had the wrong glass just like I thought I tried to make me another appointment at a location that could come to my work and they just no-show no email no phone call but the appointment is still showing. I just don't understand how they're still in business or why anyone would ever choose to go to Safelite.. and this is the third time that I've had to use them because Geico seems to think that in California $40 an hour is good enough for a glass replacement. But that's a whole Nother story I could tell you about the time they wrecked all the stripes on my hellcat and had to replace the window three times and then still scratched my paint that they never fixed. Oh, I guess I just told you about it. Why would you ask me to contact you when that is impossible. Online chat? Why wast my time? No phone number ever gets you a human. I submitted a claim for a cracked windshield and was booked for an appointment the next day. They gave me a 5 hour window (8 am to 1 pm) for when the technician would arrive. On the day of the appointment, it was raining, so the technician called around 8:15 am to suggest me driving to the shop instead. The drive was short since I live nearby. It was easy to locate. There was plenty of parking. I went inside and got checked in. I sat in the lobby and there was only 1 other person waiting inside. I waited for about 45 minutes, then my windshield was fixed. The windshield looked great and was super clear. They also replaced my windshield wipers. I took the tape off the next day and haven't had any issues with it. Cons: One of the staff members inside was talking super loud the entire time I was there. Also, I paid $400 for the windshield repair, which is pretty steep. I wish I had called around first because other auto shops charged significantly less ($250-$300). read more

Recently had my rear windshield broken while parked in the downtown area. Overall, the service was good from the initial appointment set-up, updates on the service and prepaying before the actual service date. Everything was good until we found out one minor detail. Our service technician informed us, after the replacement was complete, that he would only be able to remove about 70% of the broken glass pieces lodged inside the liftgate. He also suggested that it would've been a better idea to have taken the vehicle to the auto dealership where we purchased it, as they would have the equipment/ability to remove the liftgate and completely remove all the broken glass pieces inside. After paying around $520 for this service, this "minor" detail would've been really nice to know beforehand. Also, it's a bit annoying that whenever I go over a bump while driving or open/close the liftgate, I can still hear broken glass pieces shifting around. Not satisfied at all and I'm probably going to have to shell out a couple hundred dollars more to get this fixed properly. read more

My husband and I needed our windshield replaced on our 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport because it was hit by a rock and we had a crack that was growing very fast. We originally brought it in and, because our car was not listed as a sport in the system (we went through Geico), they did not have the correct windshield in stock. They had to custom order it from Los Angeles and we were told to come in about a week later to have it done. When we came back, they were just as polite as they were the first time we went in there, and it was the same technician. I don't remember his name, but hopefully if someone responds to this, they can give him the recognition he deserves. He was extremely knowledgeable and very professional and friendly. He told us it would definitely not take the two hours that it originally said, and he thanked us for showing up a little bit early. And he was correct, it took one hour almost exactly. We brought our 12 year-old and our 9 year-old with us and just went across the street to do some shopping and grab some food while we waited. Honestly, it was a pretty cool family day for us all. Well I had my windshield replaced on my old 2002 Rx300 Lexus at the Rancho location (bad idea) When I returned home I noticed my windshield molding/stripping was not properly installed it was very noticeable (big gap) so the technician had to have known. So I was frustrated so I went to the Florin Road Safelite shop so maybe they could snap it back in correctly. 2 great guys came out to help and they said the molding/stripping needs to be replaced so I was pissed, but thanked the 2 guys for their time. I had a scheduled appointment for windshield replacement ( due to a chip in my eye sight line) at 8am. I was checked in promptly and less than 5 min later my tech Emry came out to explain the process . The estimate was a little over $1,000 which was fully covered by my car's warranty . The estimated repair time was 2 1/2 to 3 hrs which included the replacement and recalibration of the sensors. They have to drive the car on the road to confirm the recalibration settings. The was pretty busy, several people came and dropped off . I opted to wait and it actually only took a little less than 2 hr. The location is less than a mile from the freeway . The area is a little ghetto but I felt very safe in the building. The staff is very professional and seemed like they all enjoyed their job. Wish there was an indoor restroom . It is in the middle of the shop, but gave me a chance to peek on my car. There is a Keurig in the lobby and vending machines that are cash only. read more

I had a windshield replaced at Safelite on Florin and they did a great job and gave me a great experience. The communication by text, email. and phone call was excellent. They sent me reminders, and called me during the install to give me a status update. The staff was very professional and polite. I have to be honest, the location is a little sketchy with a homeless camp in the parking lot, but the camp occupants did not approach me at all. Also they do use aftermarket windshields (not OEM) but it seems fine and the clarity was good with no distortions. Their integration with my insurance was excellent, I didn't have to file a claim or anything, it was all taken care of automatically. I had an excellent experience with this provider. I made my appointment through Geico online. Showed up 15 minutes late, but they let me still drop my car off. I left it there all day while I worked. They called me after 2 hours to say my car was ready. I paid with my credit card for my $50 co-pay. While I was there someone was trying to buy a windshield for their Tesla and the price was over $1000. But the worker, did his best to find discounts to bring the price down, which was nice. My windshield looks like the original. I noticed zero difference from the original. They have a small waiting area and vending machine. There is a donut shop, convenience store, and taqueria (open for breakfast and very delicious!) within a very short walking distance. read more

I got replacement and 2 weeks later the safelight windshield had a small crack in it I assume an acorn or something may have fell on it but not sure. Safelight won't warranty the windshield if something may have fell on it. At this point if a small nut or leaf can crack it tells me the product is very poor and I am not safe with it on my car. Getting it replaced by a different company. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS UNSAFE PRODUCT. And takes forever trying to reach a live person. Alright, this review should've done a week ago when I booked a auto glass with satellite to fix my cracked glass, everything went smoothly booked. The day has come this guy came and saw my car is old model and told me that if there's any "rust" inside of those lining where they put the glass on was not going to work out well. And wouldn't be able to put my old glass back (or course the glass is broken already) my point is they should've asked me first on the conversation or anticipated when my car is old and judging right away that they couldn't do it because they're lack of tools. Is just a wasted of time and effort basically... So, went to the local auto glass that save my time and they can do it and not mentioning the rust... they said they could do it and will take care everything other than that they won't accept my car. My point is the well known business you have and people are not well trained to negotiate to fix the glass, what's the point of service going house to house when your people don't know how to do it well and trained... just the easy as 123 and leave... goodness. I did not take a risk because if I did I will face my own wrong decision cause of that rust he said "he won't be able to put it back" because of their "policy". read more

Well 1st I had a technician come out to fix a small crack in my windshield smaller than the size of a quarter..... he didn't fix it said this was the best he could do just sealed it and that it would just stay that size and wouldn't spread more that now it would need replacement. I set a appt for them to come out and replace, less than 24 hours later the crack has spread! Safelite was supposed to come out 3 days later to replace it and then cancelled my appt and said I had to bring it in to be replaced then they cancelled that appt and said my glass was back ordered and it could take weeks to months before it was was in. I contacted the dealership and they said that was not true the glass was not back ordered and it would only take 5-7 days to get the glass to safelite. I called safelite and let them know what the dealership said and they said hmmm ok I'll look into it. Next thing I know I'm getting a email saying that they scheduled me a appt for replacement for Jan 2026!! Mind you this chip happened in my windshield early July! I instantly canceled my appt with safelite and took my business elsewhere because waiting 5 months for a replacement is ridiculous especially when they lied about the backlog! My small crack went from less than the size of a quarter to over 20 inches long due to their employee so called fixing it best he could. I wouldn't recommend anyone using them now I have to pay a deductible for a replacement when if they actually fixed the small crack there wasn't a fee from my insurance read more

I had been worried the spidery shaped ding would require the entire windshield to be replaced, but as it was 3", I was able to get it repaired and unless you look at it from inside the cabin and at a certain angle (so that the light refracts), it's not even visible from the outside. Needed to have my windshield replaced due to a rock that hit it and it spread. Called the location, made an appointment for the next week, waited for the window replacement and woolah it was back to normal. They don't even put the blue tape on the window lol. Also, while waiting it was not hard to sit there bc people come in and out and the staff kept me occupied lol. It was about $150 and I waited in their waiting area for about an hour while they worked on the car in their shop. The tech that did the job was very thorough on the process and had great customer service and was friendly.
