    Oyster Mushrooms & Leeks

Divine, OMG--this is the only way to describe the incredible meal I had last night with friends, who were in solid agreement with me. I will let readers look up descriptive information online at the restaurant's website about the various dishes, but here's what we shared: Oyster Mushroom & Leeks, Carpaccio, Grilled Radicchio Salad, Geoduck Crudo, Summer Squash Pasta, and Fried Half Chicken. For dessert we shared Peaches & Cream and the S'mores Tart. We also loved the fluffy frites--jo-jos! All were incredibly delicious. Of particular note were the Geoduck Crudo, Summer Squash Pasta, and Fried Half Chicken. The geoduck was a thing of beauty: delicate and tender and flavorful. I could consume bowls of this. The summer squash in the pasta was long slender strips of zucchini which echoed the long slender strips of the delectable pasta which was tender and delicious. The fried chicken was literally melt-in-your-mouth. Ironically, of the three of us, I and a friend initially proclaimed less than no interest in the summer squash (assuming it to be butternut or some such thing). We fell in love with the pasta and our companion who ordered it barely got a taste. Also ironically, we were told that the carpaccio came with side "smears" of beet. Same/same friend and I went, "Noooooo." However, it was a delicious beet and mustard mix which we loved--so our beet-loving friend ended up outnumbered once again! Desserts were each lovely. Cocktails were fabulous including Baby Birch and Count to Five. And I was given a beautiful, fascinating Poppy Amaro. Beautiful place and atmosphere, plus wonderful staff including Nicole (sp) and Joe--highly attentive and helpful.

Yummy food and great drinks! The sable fish was the star of the show and our waiter was very nice. Will be back for future date nights

I wanted to try everything, but stuck with the happy hour menu - I had the Caesar salad, bar mix (seasoned pretzels and nuts), and the prawn roll.

Two stars - Disappointed…read more We went here with a group of friends towards the end of the evening on a Saturday. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. There are both outdoor and indoor seating areas. The seats by the fire pits outside were all taken, so we stayed inside. They have a variety of board games, and we took advantage of that. While I enjoyed the atmosphere, I cannot say the same for one member of the staff. I tried ordering food, but I had an unpleasant encounter with the person taking my order. They seemed completely uninterested in their job and made it seem like I was burdening them by ordering food. I ended up not ordering anything. The person at the bar was nice, and I did not have any issues with them. Perhaps it was an off night for the one staff member, but it rubbed me the wrong way. Despite my encounter, I liked the bar. I would probably recommend going to the bar with the caveat about potentially having poor service.

We sat by the fire for most of our stay and it was lovely. It was the perfect temperature to be outside by a fire pit. The drink I got was lovely, and they had a diverse menu of options with beers on tap and cocktail options. We didn't get a chance to try the food but it looked delicious! You order at the counter and seat yourself. I'd definitely come back!
