I would have preferred more fresh fruit and some fat-free yogurt. What I really liked about this place is that it had windows that actually open! I had a view onto the Kennebec River. Try finding hotels, especially business class chain hotels, that have windows which open. It's pretty rare, so this was a nice surprise.

The kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. We ordered lobsters from Inn owners one night and regretted waiting so long to do so. Jane will steam them and deliver them right to your room. The lobsters were excellent! And I have to say that they tasted even better than those we've had in restaurants. We rented their boat one day and took it out to Bailey Island. We were able to dock it at Morse's for some lunch. We borrowed kayaks another day. We can't wait to go back!
