Enjoyed our stay at the Aquarius Casino Hotel. Check-in was…read moreeasy, and we stayed in the Arizona Tower. Bell service was quick and super helpful. Housekeeping was outstanding -- whatever we needed, they took care of it immediately. The rooms in that tower are a little dated, but there's plenty of drawer space and a great view of the river, at least in the room we had, which was on the 17th floor along the river. The rooms offer a Keurig-style coffee maker and bottled water which is free. Water pressure in shower was decent. The only downside is there's no in-room safe. The casino floor is loaded with slots, including a lot of modern machines, plus a decent-sized table games area. There are a few restaurants and a small food court. Staff throughout the casino -- including the drink waitresses -- are constantly checking if you need something, which was a nice touch. We primarily ate at the Aquarius Café because it has amazing deals and the food is decent (reminded me of old Vegas deals) Overall eating there was a huge savings compared to the other options. Valet parking is free, which is another nice touch. And like all the casinos along the river, you've got quick access to water taxis to hop over to other casinos. Of all the casinos located on the river, the Aquarius is by far the nicest. Another note if your gambling winning here was not something we accomplished, but we had a great time

Typical run down Laughlin hotel. Packed with people, lines for the elevator, smelled weed on our floor the whole time we were there, super smokey in the casino, parking in the afternoon to evening is horrendous!! Drove for 30+ minutes each night trying to find a parking spot. Ended up parking across the street with boats and trailers. Valet was closed/full. (Pls refer to photo of valet where there is plenty space for cars to move up. Terrible experience will never stay here again!!

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast the next morning had the usual solid HIE spread -- eggs, sausage, cinnamon rolls, hash browns, pancakes, etc. Heads up: there's a $100 incidental deposit at check-in. Mine was refunded fast, but some banks can take up to 10 business days. Booked with IHG points and it was worth it. Second time staying here and it's still the best-reviewed option in the area -- beats anything you'll find across the river in Laughlin. Would stay again.

One of my favorite features was the pool area. It was absolutely immaculate, and I loved that they have a separate kiddie pool with an adorable frog water feature. I've stayed at other IHG properties that didn't offer a kiddie pool, so this was a wonderful surprise for families with young children. The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for--quiet, calm, and relaxing. The other guests were respectful, and the front desk staff were genuinely kind, friendly, and professional throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious and had a nice variety of options. I also appreciated that they offer fresh coffee, ice water, and lemonade available around the clock at no extra charge, which was a thoughtful touch. The location is another big plus. It's conveniently located directly across the street from Lowe's and Starbucks, and only about eight minutes from the Laughlin Riverwalk and casino district. You can easily enjoy the attractions nearby and then return to a peaceful hotel away from the crowds.

More hooks in the bathroom would be useful. Housekeeping staff is very nice. The Pin-Up pizza place stops making pizza over an hour before closing. Doesn't make sense. They should at least have some pizza by the slice until closing. Or post a sign that they stop making pizza at a certain time. One more food option next to Smashburger would be good. Like a rice bowl spot or something that has healthier (gluten free) options. The Range restaurant is nice but only open for dinner. We ordered to-go since they didn't have any reservations until later at night. The arcade is fun. We had an issue with the card. We had points/tickets on the card and when we went to refill it, the points disappeared. Then after a few minutes of playing, the points reappeared, but the money I had refilled disappeared. That was a bit upsetting as you can't prove that happened. The elevators in the North tower didn't seem to be all working and at times there was a long line and wait time to get in.

Decided to try and save $10 and picked the lottery room and didn't realize this hotel still had smoking rooms. Couldn't change it at reception, they were all sold out. My mistake, smelled like carcinogens in there but we only had one more night there. Go to the beach with my family, have a great time. We come back to the room, I play some music while getting ready on my speaker I brought with me. We notice we left the bed all sandy from the beach and call room service for our sheets to be changed. We leave to dinner with my family for approximately 2 hours. We come back and our towels and our trash are on the hallway outside the door. A lipstick stain that is not mine is on the towel. We think it's strange, walk in and notice the bed has not been touched. Very weird. We decide to clean up and listen to some music before we go back down with my family to gamble. The speaker is gone. THE HOUSEKEEPER STOLE MY SPEAKER. My JBL $150 speaker. Nothing has been done by management. They will look into it and get back to me in a few weeks. Don't stay here.

The River Lodge shows it age, 42 years (I think). No ice machines on any level, no pool, dated decor, carpet & curtains. With this mind we weren't sure what to expect of our room but it was clean, even though the water in the bathroom sink drained slowly, bedding was very comfy and it was quiet throughout the night. Also, there might be 7 television channels available but we had a great river view. We stuck to eating at the different themed casinos within the Lodge. We went to Red Dragon and tried the pot stickers & pork char siu with rice; sadly no sauces were available & the staff seemed very frustrated not having the necessary supplies. By the way, they will not pour a drink in a paper cup for you in case you want to take it outside for some reason. Still it was cheap with a total of $10.80 for both dishes. We also tried a personal pepperoni pizza at Dotty's, which wasn't bad just not very hot/ warm. I believe that cost was $7.00. The last thing we tried was a pot roast dip sandwich at U1 that included fries & au jus. The flavor was good but the sandwich had no cheese at all; cost $7.00. U1 has great affordable food, slots, staff & atmosphere. I would recommend the Lodge to anyone traveling; it's unique, comfy & affordable with no resort fees

I'm writing this review as I'm currently here in the hotel room. I should've looked at the reviews…read moreon Yelp first before booking. This hotel is very disorganized! Definitely one of the worst hotels I've been to. If you book a room here, the elevator situation is insane. I've never had to wait in a huge line trying to get to my room. I asked a worker if there were stairs that we could use to avoid the massive line and she straight up lied to my face. Once we got to our floor, we checked to see if there was a stair well and sure enough there was a door at the end of our floor hallway leading to the stairs. Also housekeeping just came by knocking loudly at our door at 8:45am when check out time is at 11:00am. We even had the "room occupied" sign hanging on the door handle. Very rude and not okay to disturb guests in their rooms when it's not even close to the check out time. As far as the room itself, A/C doesn't work well, pillows are very thin, and mattress/bedding isn't comfortable. It is crazy and a shame that the Tropicana is in relation to Caesar's because it is not on the same level whatsoever as the one in Vegas. Way below it actually. I'd recommend not coming here. Also to add some of the workers here seem to hate their jobs. I will be booking at another hotel next time I come here and avoiding this hotel at all costs.
