If you are going to take advantage of the jetski rental this hotel is totally worth it. The accessibility and service was great and they get 5 Stars *****!! But the rest omgoodness this will be my second review for a bad hotel stay. Other review delayed because honestly I cannot find the words for the horror we experienced but here we go for this stay.. I had a nightmare of an experience at Harrah's Hotel. Elevator flow was chaotic and inefficient, and customer service was very poor. The rooms because we had 2 for our family and 7 with all families are described as remodel but nothing seems upgraded. The only mirror available is in restrooms and with no fan the mirror stayed foggy. Ac was pretty loud. Restrooms are equipped with Shampoo/conditioner and body wash. We kept finding pincher bugs in our room! We waited 15 minutes for elevator. Wtf how diabolical is that?. The only option depending on who you ask.!!! If you are trying to frequent places out of hotel make sure you have a plan to not return to your room in a hurry because there will be a line pass the pizza place. No structure. The crowd is rude because everyone is pissed about elevators. The lake oh so beautiful but disgustingly infested with flies. By 5pm we were getting attacked by flies of all sizes and $15 16oz pina coladas. Wowzers!! We did check out a day in advance due to the stress this place was causing and I didn't even gamble!

Came here with the Caesers Rewards Air program. Check in was a little frustrating, was offered a room with a view as an upgrade only to be told it wasn't ready but would be in an hour. Came back over 2 hours later and it still wasn't ready. I waited around for about 15 min until the front desk agent put me in a different room. We were in North Tower. Quite a hike from the tables. The room def could use an upgrade and more outlets. I will say the bed was extremely comfortable though and the mountain view was beautiful. The property itself gets the job done. Several restaurants and nice gaming options. I would def come back at the discounted air program rate but would not choose it otherwise. The hotel is also at the end of the strip, we rented a car so we were able to move around but I can't imagine being stuck at Harrahs without transportation. I believe they have a shuttle but it only goes to Tropicana.

Nice Vibes hopping through the Cadinos.. Great employees and variety of Card Tables and lots of New Slots..come and stop by.

The a/c system was a first. The room was very spacious and super cleanly not a single hair or stain as well. The bed was very comfortable the blankets and sheets were perfect I recommend when you stay in Laughlin you choose the harrahs

Don't even want to know what that is!

What a bummer! Harrah's used to be so nice! And the supervisor of the housekeeping finally took care of our dirty room. This was the second room. Once we were grossed out about the tooth paste on the back wall backsplash area it was hard to unsee! And we felt the room was dirty. The first room was gross. Not even sure what to say was on the dresser nightstand! Desk top dirty. The walls in bathroom is painted purple so the white spit toothpaste is easy to see! Maybe paint it white! But also should be cleaned! We thought it was missing paint but we were able to wash it off ourselves. The room was supposed to be an upgraded room but it still seemed old a the furniture was all scratched up. The concert was excellent but the rest of the area needs improvement. The supervisor did comp one night of the resort fee and my friend asked for both nights and she got testy with her saying she was already doing us a favor. She could have just said sorry this is all I am Able to do instead of snapping. At my friend. We were at the ick stage from The first room And removing a fee that already sucked and we weren't going to use any of the "amenities" that resort fees include anyways. I will be back for concert venue for sure but will stay somewhere else.

To start off, upon arriving the hotel only had 1-2 valet drivers for the entire hotel leaving people outside for more than half an hour to get their vehicle , then to check in was only ONE lady doing all the booking. Charged me an upgrade fee because I wanted two beds instead of just the one king bed.. This hotel was disgustingly dirty. The first room had dirt, mold and stains on the ceiling along with holes on blankets and cabinets breaking off and falling off yet this was their "renovated new side building" I complained gave me a new room after charging me the upgrade fee and taking 2 hours for the entire process, just to get into another room just as dirty. At this point my mother in law started cleaning it herself because the kids were exhausted and just wanted to go swimming there was stains on the blankets , holes , pillows were dirty and inside out , glass behind the bed was greasy and dirty from someone else prior, shelves and cabinets were falling off as well. The pool was so dirty, not enough chairs I'm Seven months pregnant and had to sit in the floor with all our things because there isn't enough room, along with a smell that lingers like a gas leak or sewer water and the view you get from the family view is trash and what looks like homeless people property in the back. In the adults pool is a little better but still needs maintenance and idk more life. The jacuzzi is gated up. Overall my stay was a disaster and horrible I will never stay there again, even their own staff advised me to stay at the Aquarius! SMH

Absolutely disgusting hotel! Our shower backs up to the point of overflowing, sink also fills up, and then this morning we woke up to dog feces in the hall way! We are here for a soccer tournament with our team and we are contemplating on checking out tonight into another hotel. staff is underwhelming short. Waited 30 mins for a Cinnabon last night. Overall I'd give this place 0/10 rating.

I stayed here because I thought it was a 4star what a joke. This hotel is FARRRR from 4star. We had to go to an event in Lake Havasu since all the hotels around there were all 3stars so I decided to make the drive and stay here. What a mistake, I booked the room on their website because I am there and I was getting a better rate. I am a travel agent and I have been to a lot of 4 star hotels. I booked a room that said a newly renovated - well you will see in my picture how renovated it is. When I asked them hey I booked the renovated room I was told you are in that we changed the carpet and the shower. So please DONT stay here and waste your money.

We haven't been to Laughlin in a long time. Came here for a family reunion getaway. The hotel needs a major remodel. The room has the old country type old furniture. The front staff couldn't tell us where to go to check in except for the fact to go downstairs by the pool. We were walking everywhere. We finally found our guy to check us in. The assigned us to a tent. The refrigerator was grossly dirty inside and the floor wasn't clean either. The floor has pebbles and direct in our tent. Not a great way of presentation especially when money is spent for this service. The day before The family pool was closed so all the kids were in the adult pool for the day. Most of the restaurants were closed during the week. No time for relaxation. I'm sad my experience was below average.

This resort needs to be closed for safety and health violations and dropped to the ground. Bottom line. It's horrible. If you're trying to do a 1970s mafia movie perhaps it might make sense. But it's hard-core over the top ridiculously dated. They claimed to have some newly renovated rooms, I didn't see them. Our room was disgusting. I'd complete hodgepodge through multiple styles trying to make something work and it absolutely does not. Everything from multiple different color types of wood to formica, even a 40 year-old broken TV hanging above the sink in the bathroom. Wallpaper peeling, carpet that is stained, anything that could be bad was bad. And this was from a suite where you would've expected a little bit more. Not to mention for the central tower, which had 4 elevators. None of the elevators if working ever had an inspection report not to mention that out of the four elevators, you were lucky if one or two were working. This added very long cues in line waiting for the elevator. Talk about fire hazard if anybody was stuck on a high level. Take a look at the photos that I've uploaded below of our room and the corridor and elevator areas. The staff and maintenance and cleaning crews should be fired and this hotel should be demolished. This is an absolute embarrassment to the Cesar's name. I will never stay here again. If I can give it a lower rating experience I would.

Hi, just wondering if the beach is opened in October?

I believe it is but not 100% sure. I been to Laughlin late September and they have the beach and river open

Is there any band or nightclub entertainment?

No. They do not have a club. They sometimes have concerts on the beach during the warmer months though.

Not just yet

Yes they do. It's next to the Adult Pool.

Is the pool open?

Yes

Can you launch your own water craft at Harrahs?

Nope, the Riverside has a free launch.

Wow, yelpers, you've officially freaked me out. Has anyone been to the diamond lounge there, how is it?

It sucks, Never again and very pricey.

There were even two recliners in the room which were great. Many of the rooms are occupied full time, but it definitely isn't a shady place. If you are expecting the ambiance of a modern hotel, this is probably not the place for you. Patty is the manager and she went above and beyond for us. We made a few less stops than we anticipated on the way out and were there a half hour before the office opened. Patty showed up early and said our room was ready, so we got settled right away (good luck trying to check in early at a bigger hotel). When making the reservation I included in the comments that we would have 2 sea doo's with us. The message didn't make it to her apparently, but she was very accommodating and showed us where to park the trailer and even showed us the launch ramp and dock which the motel has for guests/residents. We were only supposed to stay overnight, but our truck had some transmission problems as we were leaving town which stranded us for another night. We knew the office was closed on Sunday but my wife went to get the phone number to see if there would be an answer. One of the residents noticed her down there and got ahold of the on site housekeeper, who called Patty. The housekeeper was nice enough to pick Patty up for us! Patty came in on her only day off to help us get back in the room for the night, we sincerely appreciate all the help we got that day from everyone at Shangri La. I decided to make the best out of a bad situation and used their launch ramp to take one of the Sea Doos for an afternoon spin. It was absolutely gorgeous that night and I was a little less stressed about it all. About the launch ramp- In the morning when we were there the water level was low enough that the ramp is not usable until 0930-1000 when more water is released from the dam. For the rest of the day it is fine. If you are planning on coming with a boat or jet ski's, look at the satellite view of the ramp, it has some tricky turns and a long narrow ramp. A boat longer than 18' or so would take a short wheelbase tow vehicle and some tricky maneuvering to make it. The first day I didn't know about the water level changes and just drove to the city operated launch ramp and set up on the beach out there. It cost $25 to launch there and the ramp was pretty busy, which makes Shangri La even more of a value! We WILL be back again.

When they did come, they sprayed the moths with something and vacuumed them up. Even after that, we were still waking up with moths in the bed, moths getting into our luggage, and moths all over the curtains, ceiling, and bathroom. Moths were also in the fridge when we initially arrived in the room. I understand that insects are a natural part of the environment and that seasonal bugs can happen, but the extent of the issue in our room was far beyond what we expected, especially when other guests staying with us at the hotel did not have the same problem in their rooms. Another concern for us was that the balcony door lock was not functioning properly while we were staying on the 21st floor with a toddler in the room. We reported this during the stay. I sent photos and contacted guest services afterward hoping the concerns would be taken more seriously, but was ultimately told there was nothing they could do. Very disappointed with the condition of the room and how the situation was handled. We used to love staying here but it has definitely gone downhill in the recent years.

(6 months preggo…read moreand 3 very opinionated teens) When we walked into the lobby it was very clean, of course it smelled like smoke, its a casino for gods sake! Not super overwhelming like others had mentioned. The room and bathroom were surprisingly clean and very roomy! There was no hair left laying around in the bathroom as previously mentioned in other posts. The water pressure in the shower was great, however the shower head was very low. My husband had to squat just to get wet. The toilet was also very low which was a little weird to me. The room came with an iron, ironing board and a blow dryer. Our end table did have an issue with the drawer, it kept opening but it wasn't a deal breaker!! I just so happened to have tape and that did the trick. The temperature knob in our mini fridge was missing so it took us a while to figure out how to make it cooler. The ac kept the room nice and cool but it was very loud, sounded like it was struggling big time. They had a smart TV, we were able to access netflix, amazin prime and another service (i cant remember) The arcade was decent but was prob better for smaller kids. Our kids still enjoyed it. The family pool was beautiful with plenty of sitting areas. It was about 90 something degrees when we went but the water was too cold for me! The kids and my husband had fun on the slides they had. They don't allow outside food or drinks but they had a little bar/snack shack. We did have to pay an additional 15$ for an extra pool wristband. 4 were given for a double bed room. The private beach was very cute but we didn't really spend any time there unfortunately. The ice machine was working and was a short distance from our room. We got panda express pretty late in the day, the food was a little sad but it was expected. We were located in the central tower, maybe all the terrible reviews werw from different areas of the hotel? Who knows. Oh, there only seemed to be luggage carts for those who were parking in valet, that part kinda sucked. We were also a ahirt distance from a gas station, Mc donalds, Starbucks and a few grocery markets. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and will def be visiting again.

It is a fun weekend getaway in Laughlin IF you know what you're getting into…read more 1. The casino resort is about 20 miles south of the main Laughlin strip of casinos. It's more secluded and less crowded, which can be a plus or minus depending on what you're looking for. The crowd tends to be older and calm. It's relaxing and not a party vibe. 2. The casino is VERY smoky and if you stay in the hotel here, the smoke is in the corridors too. There ventilation needs to be improved. Also the casino entrance is an open atrium that leads to the hotel hallways upstairs which adds to the smoke everywhere. 3. The pool and beach is very nice and chill. There's a bigger pool for families and kids and a separate pool hot tub section for adults alone. The pool is not heated so it's too cold to swim in the winter months but the hot tub is nice. 4. The rooms are nothing special but they're clean and do its job. The housekeeping was interesting as they did come and clean the bathroom and refill the toiletries, but the beds were sloppily made and the pillows simply thrown at the headboard. 5. Service at check in and at the restaurants were fine. The service at Mojave Coffee was great. 6. The casino is a good size with mostly a lot machines and electronic games. 7. There is a movie theater on site and an arcade which is good for kids. Bottom line: it's a fun place to get away if you know what to expect. It's good for casual gambling, laying by the pool, and a no frills yet fun experience.
