We stayed here for an April weekend for a country music concert that was in town. I made the reservation in December. The price was very reasonable for one of the newly remodeled king suites in the North Tower. I was able to pay half at booking and the other half at check-in. I got an email the morning of check-in allowing me to bypass the regular check-in process and check in online. I was very disappointed when I arrived to the hotel realizing I had to get in a long line and do the check-in process again even though I already did it and put my credit card down online. What is the point of offering early check-in? The second disappointment was the elevator situation. There are six elevators in the north tower. It appears that all of them are working. However, it was always a long line of people to go up and down. We got to our room, which was spacious and nicely decorated. However, it was not very clean. I had to use Clorox wipes and go over all the surfaces which still had unknown substances on them as well as a buildup of dust. For just being renovated, the room is still very dated. It was mostly cosmetic changes not a true renovation. On the plus side of the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and the water pressure in the shopper was fantastic. The biggest issue I had during my stay was the lack of maid service. We called down on Saturday morning to advise that we were leaving for the afternoon and would like some fresh towels and our room serviced. When we got back Saturday evening, the only thing that had been done was some new towels were thrown on the couch. The garbage was not removed. Neither was the old towels, and the bed was not made. When I did the online check-in and specifically asked if I would like the room cleaned while I was there and I checked, yes. While we were here, we tried Guy Fieri's Mexican restaurant. It was fantastic. The service was great. It was probably the best guacamole I have ever had. I highly recommend making a reservation. We had reservations at the range steakhouse the next night. It is a nice restaurant but very dated. There are nice views of the river. The stakes were very overpriced for what we were given. The lobster mac & cheese was pretty terrible. Our waitress was very nice and quick though. Check out was easy since I was actually able to do that online and not have to wait in line again. Parking was easy and free. read more

Just because I can't give a zero. I was initially excited because I've stayed at many Harrahs before... let me just say never again at the Laughlin's location. There are no food options late at night, no vending machine snacks, the slots don't pay anything... the amount of people and kids is ridiculous, the room was probably the worst room only a bit worse than circus circus... oh and the room was about $500 for 2 nights... they price gouge on 4th of July and don't invest any of that money they steal from you into infrastructure, customer service, payback from winnings... just a place to lose all your time and money... we don't recommend this place and definetly will not have any of our business conducted here and will tell our family to stay away... this place is a -2/10, doesn't even have potential... just sad DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT STAY HERE, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST read more

Stayed at Harrah's Laughlin recently and honestly the place feels very outdated. The elevator lines were absolutely ridiculous almost every time we tried to go up or down, especially during busy hours. We spent more time waiting for elevators than expected. The casino and hallways also feel old, dirty, and overdue for renovations. The carpet looks worn out, the overall atmosphere feels dated, and the property just doesn't feel very well maintained compared to other casinos in Laughlin. The location and river access are nice, but the hotel seriously needs updates and better crowd management for the elevators. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We've been staying here for years and have never had an experience like this. Day 1: We checked in and were given the wrong date and room type. Day 2: After a long drive, we went to shower, only to find the drain wouldn't work. The front desk said engineering wouldn't be available for 2 hours, so we moved rooms--only to end up in a room where the A/C didn't work at all. Later, we ordered room service and received a confirmation it would arrive within 45 minutes. After waiting over 1.5 hours, we called and were told, "Oops, we forgot your order." We were promised delivery shortly, but after another 45 minutes, nothing arrived. When we finally spoke to a manager (after waiting again), we were told the food had been thrown out because it had been sitting too long. Day 3: In the morning, we discovered a booger on the sheet right where my head had been. We contacted housekeeping and asked for fresh sheets so we could change them ourselves due to lack of trust. After waiting an hour, nothing arrived. When we followed up, we were told housekeeping had already come--but it turned out they were sent to the wrong room. The housekeeping manager dismissed it as "people make mistakes," and the director said we could change the sheets ourselves due to "safety issues." Day 4: At Smashburger, they only had Pepsi and Starry to drink, were almost out of meat, and would only sell single patties. They had only one water left. Day 5: At Cinnabon, the employee didn't ask what we wanted--just said, "You want a Cinnabon?" with no effort at customer service. Day 6: On our last day, my boyfriend developed a severe rash on his legs that has continued to worsen. Throughout the entire stay, every employee we encountered seemed unhappy and rude, as if they didn't want to be there. Customer service was completely nonexistent. We requested multiple times for a manager to call us--every single day--and never received a call back. On our last day, after waiting 45 minutes, we finally spoke to an assistant manager who simply asked, "What would you like me to do about it?" We again requested a call from the hotel manager and still have not received one. This was an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience. We will never return. Don't waste your money staying here. read more

Harrah's Laughlin, this is the second time staying here but the first time experiencing a busy weekend. The elevators in tower 3 are crazy busy. Such a big line , it's like Disneyland. the Room is clean , no bad smell, and clean restrooms. The best part about here is the private beach. love it! read more

Our stay at Harrah's was okay overall, but there were a few disappointments. The room itself was decent, but I was expecting a better view of the river. It was a little confusing when booking because I thought I had selected a river view, but apparently there's a difference between a "river view" and a "riverfront" room. That was frustrating, and the view we ended up with wasn't what we had hoped for. They do advertise the private beach like access to the river but the renting of chairs is pricey, as well as other Hotels have access too so they aren't unique for it. Another downside was that the room didn't have a refrigerator, which was pretty inconvenient. On top of that, there were times when only one elevator was working, leading to longer waits than expected. The hotel has potential, but a few improvements and clearer room descriptions would make for a much better guest experience. read more

Came here for my birthday we had free rooms they were remodeled. However, there was some dirty stain on my carpet a drink in the fridge. It did not feel clean. They have a burger spot, cinnabon, starbucks then the range steakhouse and guy fier restaurant. We were disappointed that the pizza spot was not open. I would stay here if it was cleaner. After a long day at the lake with brutal 117 degree weather waiting like 10 mins to get on the tower elevator the room couldn't cool down for nothing. Brutal conditions especially with seniors and loved ones. Poker room too no ac felt like. Do better with upgrades and renovations. Definitely won't be staying there no more. Sure feels old and dated. A sad affiliate ceasars property. Room wasn't even cleaned well. Called for extra pillows not only did it take couple hours to get it but they opened the door walked halfway in the room pretty much. I had a nightmare of an experience at Harrah's Hotel. Elevator flow was chaotic and inefficient, and customer service was very poor. The rooms because we had 2 for our family and 7 with all families are described as remodel but nothing seems upgraded. The only mirror available is in restrooms and with no fan the mirror stayed foggy. Ac was pretty loud. Restrooms are equipped with Shampoo/conditioner and body wash. We kept finding pincher bugs in our room! We waited 15 minutes for elevator. Wtf how diabolical is that?. The only option depending on who you ask.!!! If you are trying to frequent places out of hotel make sure you have a plan to not return to your room in a hurry because there will be a line pass the pizza place. No structure. The crowd is rude because everyone is pissed about elevators. The lake oh so beautiful but disgustingly infested with flies. By 5pm we were getting attacked by flies of all sizes and $15 16oz pina coladas. Wowzers!! We checked in after standing in line for about 30 minutes, there was only 1 person trying to check in everyone at the front desk. None of the 4 check-in kiosks were working. Then the wait for the elevator to get to our room was another 20 minutes or so. Once we arrived in the room, I noticed the mirrored headboard had greasy handprints on it. There was a dirty towel in the restroom as well. The hotel had a lot of families with children who were running around yelling, and there was actually a fight in the elevator! Most of the employees looked like they would rather be anywhere but here. They were nice, and professional, but tired! Came here with the Caesers Rewards Air program. Check in was a little frustrating, was offered a room with a view as an upgrade only to be told it wasn't ready but would be in an hour. Came back over 2 hours later and it still wasn't ready. I waited around for about 15 min until the front desk agent put me in a different room. We were in North Tower. Quite a hike from the tables. The room def could use an upgrade and more outlets. I will say the bed was extremely comfortable though and the mountain view was beautiful. The property itself gets the job done. Several restaurants and nice gaming options. I would def come back at the discounted air program rate but would not choose it otherwise. The hotel is also at the end of the strip, we rented a car so we were able to move around but I can't imagine being stuck at Harrahs without transportation. I believe they have a shuttle but it only goes to Tropicana. read more

The place was "ok", beach was the best part. Staff was generally friendly, except for housekeeping. After several assurances that housekeeping would clean and restock my room, they never showed up. Upon my return at 11:00 PM Thursday night, I called and questioned why my room had not been serviced. I was firm, yet respectful. The lady who answered the phone became combative and hung up on me, without meeting our needs. When I reported this to the Assistant Manager on duty, the Assistant Manager said that I, the customer, was in the wrong!!! This place clearly has people in positions who should not be employed in the service industry. NEVER AGAIN will I stay here!! NEVER ARGUE WITH PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! read more

What a bummer! Harrah's used to be so nice! And the supervisor of the housekeeping finally took care of our dirty room. This was the second room. Once we were grossed out about the tooth paste on the back wall backsplash area it was hard to unsee! And we felt the room was dirty. The first room was gross. Not even sure what to say was on the dresser nightstand! Desk top dirty. The walls in bathroom is painted purple so the white spit toothpaste is easy to see! Maybe paint it white! But also should be cleaned! We thought it was missing paint but we were able to wash it off ourselves. The room was supposed to be an upgraded room but it still seemed old a the furniture was all scratched up. The concert was excellent but the rest of the area needs improvement. The supervisor did comp one night of the resort fee and my friend asked for both nights and she got testy with her saying she was already doing us a favor. She could have just said sorry this is all I am Able to do instead of snapping. At my friend. We were at the ick stage from The first room And removing a fee that already sucked and we weren't going to use any of the "amenities" that resort fees include anyways. My wife and I keep saying that we need to stay here at this casino, in one of our Laughlin visits. Everytime we visit, we simply love the time we spend here. The bar area is easy to sit at, although a little expensive at the tabletop poker games (Versus the other casinos), the hostesses walking around are sure to keep your drinks full, and we always do good at the slots in this casino. read more

STILL A LAUGHLIN FAV! It's no shock that Harrah's has a huge following by both young and old. It's got an assortment of unique dining experiences like Guy Fieri's restaurant and Smashburger. It's also very convenient, having an in-house Starbucks and a private beach for a family-friendly day at the Colorado River. Harrah's has loads of parking and it always feels lively. Parking is free, so don't worry about fees like the ones found in Vegas! My only complaint was that the staff were a little dismissive during this visit. We pulled in when a shuttle bus full of old folks were arriving and they only greeted the old patrons. I felt like they looked right through us and ignored us. read more

This hotel may have been the place to stay back in the day, but it hasn't been updated in a very long time. It's being held together by the multiple layers of paint on the walls and door frames just to make it look refreshed. The room we had was a nice sized corner room that overlooked the river in the North Tower. The casino was tight as well, we lost a lot of money there. Went down the road to Aquarius and won some of it back. Smash Burger was good inside the hotel and open all night! Friendly staff. read more

We haven't been to Laughlin in a long time. Came here for a family reunion getaway. The hotel needs a major remodel. The room has the old country type old furniture. The front staff couldn't tell us where to go to check in except for the fact to go downstairs by the pool. We were walking everywhere. We finally found our guy to check us in. The assigned us to a tent. The refrigerator was grossly dirty inside and the floor wasn't clean either. The floor has pebbles and direct in our tent. Not a great way of presentation especially when money is spent for this service. The day before The family pool was closed so all the kids were in the adult pool for the day. Most of the restaurants were closed during the week. No time for relaxation. I'm sad my experience was below average. read more

I stayed here because I thought it was a 4star what a joke. This hotel is FARRRR from 4star. We had to go to an event in Lake Havasu since all the hotels around there were all 3stars so I decided to make the drive and stay here. What a mistake, I booked the room on their website because I am there and I was getting a better rate. I am a travel agent and I have been to a lot of 4 star hotels. I booked a room that said a newly renovated - well you will see in my picture how renovated it is. When I asked them hey I booked the renovated room I was told you are in that we changed the carpet and the shower. So please DONT stay here and waste your money. read more

To start off, upon arriving the hotel only had 1-2 valet drivers for the entire hotel leaving people outside for more than half an hour to get their vehicle , then to check in was only ONE lady doing all the booking. Charged me an upgrade fee because I wanted two beds instead of just the one king bed.. This hotel was disgustingly dirty. The first room had dirt, mold and stains on the ceiling along with holes on blankets and cabinets breaking off and falling off yet this was their "renovated new side building" I complained gave me a new room after charging me the upgrade fee and taking 2 hours for the entire process, just to get into another room just as dirty. At this point my mother in law started cleaning it herself because the kids were exhausted and just wanted to go swimming there was stains on the blankets , holes , pillows were dirty and inside out , glass behind the bed was greasy and dirty from someone else prior, shelves and cabinets were falling off as well. The pool was so dirty, not enough chairs I'm Seven months pregnant and had to sit in the floor with all our things because there isn't enough room, along with a smell that lingers like a gas leak or sewer water and the view you get from the family view is trash and what looks like homeless people property in the back. In the adults pool is a little better but still needs maintenance and idk more life. The jacuzzi is gated up. Overall my stay was a disaster and horrible I will never stay there again, even their own staff advised me to stay at the Aquarius! SMH read more

How hard is it to fix and maintain things. At check in, 3 of the 4 self check terminals weren't working. 4 of 6 elevators in the North Tower wasn't working. This was a weekend. EVERY TIME I wanted to go up to my room, it's a 20 min wait for the elevators. The hot tub was fenced off. When we got our room, there in one drawer was some baby clothes probably from the last guest. Doesn't give great confidence how well room cleaning between guests is. read more

I ALWAYS stay at harrahs. Its the only laughlin hotel with a nice beach and bar. South tower is always the best to stay in. 10/10. However a few things alot of people mention. Fix the elevators, hot tub. Update the hallways. And need more food options. The café closes at 10 it used to be 24/7. You guys had THE BEST buffet in laughlin before covid. Its not covid anymore this place is packed everytime I come here. I want to try the range steakhouse but thw 1 day if was open she turned about 30 people i saw because no reservations. Bad buisness on their end. Pin up pizza is only open 3 days a week. So is the steak house. Open more hours/days and harrahs has everything you need. Another suggestion is you guys have plenty of room to have a cool bar area to the left of the beach bar. Would be awesome to have a little patio bar right there in the shade. These are all very strong suggestions, I love staying here otherwise. Love the casino floor, all the cocktail ladies are awesome. Slots and tables are great! Needs some love though, laughlin is becoming the new vegas, harrahs doesnt want to become the next laughlin river lodge. read more

Oh my. We ensured we would be in a newly remodeled room in a remodeled tower. Nope. The paint and other things on the way to the room told a different story. Scuffed, worn, and definitely not new. Even the door to the room looked beat up. The room (indeed the hotel) smelled musty and smoky. The room was okay clean, but certainly not sparkling. And the reviews for other places in town made this place sound like a palace, so there wasn't much choice when arriving late at night. And the casino has pretty bad odds. Lost a big chunk of bills very quickly and far faster than most of the Vegas places I've stayed at in the past. Overall, not a great place. But I think that might just be true of Laughlin in its entirety. We were passing through and chose to stop here for the night to check it out, even though it added 40 minutes to our trip. Certainly would not return--not to this hotel and not to Laughlin. read more

They claim to have "upgraded" their rooms, but I really don't see much of an upgrade. What we saw online and what we got were two different things. Property isn't taken very good care of, including the private beach area. Never saw anyone cleaning anywhere in the entire hotel/casino. Our shower had pink mold growing along the bottom of the tiles and the doors/floors haven't been cleaned in who knows how long. The pools aren't taken very good care of either, not to mention the jacuzzi was out of commission due to needing repairs. They had a big chain link fence around it which looked like it's been there for quite some time now. I wish I would've taken pictures. This property has really gone downhill through the years. First time staying at Harrah's and will be the last. I worked in hospitality myself so I was disappointed in management as it was a holiday weekend and upon arrival they had only two @ front desk . Finally a third came on. Should have been a full crew to expedite check in. Elevator wait times are pretty bad so we took the stairs on multiple occasions. Not for the faint of heart. And going to the river is pretty much a joke. Hardly any signage to direct you and the stairs my god too many. River was great but they need a simple wash off station for your sandy feet. Saw signage for recycling however no bins to do so anywhere. The old place needs a facelift with some minor conveniences put in place. Staff nice considering they have to put up with poor management and disarray. Enjoying the beach area was wonderful even though it was crowded. However, you have to walk to pool area to use a restroom. Ridiculous. They need restrooms available closer to River. read more

The last time I came to Harrahs it was awesome. This time, there was a nasty mess in the sink that had backed up, the room smelled like it had been smoked in, and there were trip hazards in the carpeting due to it needing to be re-stretched or replaced. The sink was fixed fairly quickly, but there was a smell of sewer gas my whole visit. I stuffed a wet washcloth in the sink drain & that helped. I love the area, but would definitely ask for a different tower next time! Central was awful! read more

This resort needs to be closed for safety and health violations and dropped to the ground. Bottom line. It's horrible. If you're trying to do a 1970s mafia movie perhaps it might make sense. But it's hard-core over the top ridiculously dated. They claimed to have some newly renovated rooms, I didn't see them. Our room was disgusting. I'd complete hodgepodge through multiple styles trying to make something work and it absolutely does not. Everything from multiple different color types of wood to formica, even a 40 year-old broken TV hanging above the sink in the bathroom. Wallpaper peeling, carpet that is stained, anything that could be bad was bad. And this was from a suite where you would've expected a little bit more. Not to mention for the central tower, which had 4 elevators. None of the elevators if working ever had an inspection report not to mention that out of the four elevators, you were lucky if one or two were working. This added very long cues in line waiting for the elevator. Talk about fire hazard if anybody was stuck on a high level. Take a look at the photos that I've uploaded below of our room and the corridor and elevator areas. The staff and maintenance and cleaning crews should be fired and this hotel should be demolished. This is an absolute embarrassment to the Cesar's name. I will never stay here again. If I can give it a lower rating experience I would. read more

Me, my girlfriend, and our son were all miserable. Our kid kept waking up covered in sweat, couldn't sleep at all... it was honestly hard to watch. Maintenance took forever, and when someone finally showed up, the filter they pulled out was completely black... and the AC STILL didn't get fixed. The room itself was supposed to be "renovated" but it was falling apart. Dust everywhere, bathroom fan didn't work, mattress was sinking, and the pillows were tiny and uncomfortable. Elevators took forever every single time. The non-smoking area smelled like smoke, and random people were coming down to the beach who weren't even staying at the hotel. Food options were bad, and the service didn't help at all. We were told someone would come fix things, waited over an hour and a half, nothing happened. Went back down and were told there wasn't even a work order put in. Overall just a terrible experience. Definitely would not recommend staying here. read more

This is for attending an event at Harrahs Theatre for the Kane Brown concert. It was absolute chaos and mayhem. The line was around the building through the parking lot down the street no organization they're letting bus loads of people out in the middle of the line. We checked in to our room and were hit with the pungent smell of cigarettes. I mean it was thick. We called Guests services and let them know we booked a "nonsmoking" room. We were told (in a very dry, matter of fact manner) "that room is nonsmoking". We couldn't stay there because the smell was so bad, so we requested a different room. Here we go, lugging our stuff back down to reception. We were told we could upgrade but opted not to, we just wanted another room. Rooms are basically clean, but super outdated. Talk about flask back in time! The carpets are dingy and the furniture needs to be replaced. The whole place needs gutted and redone. Food choices include about 5 different restaurants. The beach and water taxi are right outside the back door. Adult pool is nice if you're kid free. Overall a medicore experience. Likely wouldn't ever stay again. read more

We chose Harrah's because it is a Caesar's property and probably had too high of expectations. Room was super dusty, no one ever came to change our sheets or give us towels, if you used a luggage cart they require for them to bring your items up to you, fully enter your room, and unload. Just completed a four night stay with my wife. We had an excellent river view from the middle tower. These rooms are in somewhat desperate need of renovation and improvements. They are rather worn and tired. The air conditioning system did not work so well in our unit. I did have maintenance service it, to no significant difference. This critically impacted our enjoyment considerably with temperatures reaching up to 118 on one day. As well, the bed was not very comfortable. The sheets aren't far off from being sandpaper. I'm not exaggerating! As well, the mattress and its padding generate and exacerbates the heat. So poorly designed for comfort. At least the shower has decent water pressure. read more
