Most of the time the nails turn out looking great! My luck there has always been great but my daughter's has been not so much.

i have love this place very much when tina does my nails, but i went any got my nails done on Thursday the 11th for my birthday on friday the 12th, i got to milwaukee friday for my birthday, went and grabbed my bag nicel. and my nail snaped off, the gel ex glue was still all on my nails. im very upset with henry and how he did my nails. He also didn't understand that i wanted one hand one color and the other a differen. he wasn't much talking or asking if i even liked the nails. read more

I am from Boston and had to come to Green Bay immediately with no time to have my nails filled. I've had acrylic nails for over 28 years and 10 of those years with the same Nail Tech. So that said , I knew the steps to take better than my tech at Elle. He was shaking, hurt my finger, fixed a lifting nail incorrectly after I pointed it out to him. He completely forgot a step (I reminded him) and my Polish was not smooth at all. Be careful if you're going for an acrylic fill with Gel polish. read more

Horrible experience. I have been getting my nails done for 15+ years and have never had so much pain with a service before today. I had a fill and the nail technician must have drilled too deep on 2 of my fingers and I had to pull my hand away multiple times. Will never go there again. If I could rate a 0, I would. I ended up with an 11:00 appointment even though I couldn't get into Sarah today. I finally started my gel nail fill at 12:05 - over an hour late. Then, they did a horrible job because they had massively overbooked and were rushing. You can see through my nail polish in the light. There are bumps in my polish. Although I questioned him, he said my nails on both hands were even, and they definitely are not. I normally would have asked for them to be redone, but I figured I'd be there all night. I've been a regular customer there, but with today's issues, no apologies or discounts, and the poor service, I am forced to move on to another salon. VERY DISSATISFIED read more

Used to love this place. Prices very reasonable. Friendly staff. But I have to remove them from the list due to poor organization. GF and I showed up for a 12:30 appointment. Got led to the chair at 12:35. And waited. Someone started working on my GF at 1:00. I sat there waiting 45 minutes until 1:20. Look, I know shit happens and employees don't show or schedule gets pushed back, but let us know when we check in. We would have been happy to walk next door to the Bottle Room and get a bite and a glass of wine. Don't just seat us and ignore us. A pedicure should not take 90 minutes. Awful - my friend made reservations for her bridesmaids and we showed up early and still ended up having to wait a good 30 mins to get our nails done. I asked for a design on my ring finger nail and it didn't turn out like the example I had chose. My friend wanted red tips and the manicurist didn't understand and she finally just caved and went with a regular French tip set. They do offer slight discounts if paying in cash versus card. Honestly unless you were getting more than one service it was really negligible. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I'd definitely not go back. originally went to get a acrylic nail fill, with some repair work it came out to $43 plus the tip which brought it to $49. The woman I got was pretty rough and hurt each of my fingers around the cuticle while buffing, and got the underside of my nail so badly it bled and hurt days later. The acrylics were inconsistently shapped and uneven thickness as well. Many sloped upward towards the tip of the finger and were thick and uncomfortable. I left as I thought I might have been over reacting but as the night went on and each of my fingers were hurting and uncomfortable so I called the next morning so I could get them removed and a refund. When I arrived the next day I was given the same woman to remove the nails and she absolutely destroyed my natural nails. She was rough and nicked me multiple time, the worst was she ripped my natural nail well into the middle of my nailbed, causing me to bleed. I'm not even sure she managed to get all of the stuff of my nails, but by the end of thr hour I was there I was just desperate to leave. I had to repeatedly request my refund, and in the end they decided to CHARGE ME $10 FOR THE REMOVAL. I only left with $30 for this absolutely horrible experience. I should've stayed and fought for my fill refund but I just wanted it all to end. I sit here in the parking lot typing this and crying. My fingers are in pain, I'm bleeding, and I'm short $20. Awful service gave them three try's and always unpleasant. First off customer is always right and no need to raise your nasty tone with me. I made an appointment and was told they couldn't do it till half hour later.. also if you want plain boring nails they're the place to go but if you want designs or things like ombré to basic floral patterns look elsewhere. I just took my granddaughters and niece here. My niece was asked her age by a male technician which made her feel quite uncomfortable-especially because this information had already been shared. it seemed quite intrusive. in addition my granddaughter had a cuticle cut on her thumb. within 10 minutes of coming home her thumb was bruised, swollen and painful. when we called technician to discuss there was no empathy but just a lecture how that was part of process. We were offered $5 as compensation- we will never go there again. read more

Elle Nail Salon has always been my go to place for a manicure. Sarah is one of the best nail techs I have had - "IF" management allows her to do her job. The salon has recently come under new ownership/management and I have really been able to tell the difference. The new owners must be booking the appoinments too close together, and on top of it are accepting walk-ins as well when there is not enough staff to service all of the clients in a satisfactory manner. The last time I was there several weeks ago, even though they were not speaking English, I could tell the owner was telling my nail tech to hurry up in the middle of my appoinment, as another client had just come in. She came up again several more times within seconds of the last time to speak to her. Finally, as my tech began to hurriedly finish my manicure the owner stood there silently behind her chair waiting as she finished. It was an extremely uncomfortable feeling not only for me, but my nail tech as well as I am sure it stresses her out to be treated like this. She is a very sweet, kind person who does not deserve this treatment from her boss. It also is not fair to the customers who are not getting the treatment and service they are paying for. If this behavior continues I may be forced to go elsewhere for services even though I really like Sarah. I rarely write reviews for businesses, but I felt so bothered by this incident (even though it has been 2 weeks now) that I felt I needed to speak out. read more

I have been going here for a long time and have rarely not liked my nails. One time about a year ago I had a terrible experience with a nail tech- so from then on I always made sure I booked with Sarah. She does an amazing job, I always love my nails and she's very gentle. I went in to get a full set yesterday and Sarah was unavailable so I had another nail tech do my nails and it was the one who I had a bad experience with. I thought i'd give him a chance since it had been a while and he did once again a terrible job. I asked for almond and they were pointy, uneven, and crooked. I said something to another nail tech and they argued with me and tried to tell me they were almond. They cut my acrylics down all the way and told me to come back the next day to get them take. off. What happened to the customer is always right? I cried in my car after I left I am so upset cause this used to be my go to place. I would not recommend- they're are only a few techs here that know what they're doing. read more

It's supposed to be a MANICURE not a MASSACRE! Very fast and rough on people who actually have REAL nails and care what they look like under the polish. They saw at them with such a coarse file that they damage them and it sent splits up the sides and 2 broke right after I was there and a 3rd one was starting to split. Then Kim, the owner, said to come back and she would fix them. I made the mistake of taking her up on it. She was as rough and uncaring as the guy who did my nails the first time. She strengthened them with the powder but did a fast and messy job then said, "Go wash your hands. You done." Not friendly at all! I am actually shocked that they run a business. I took my "new" nails to a different salon and they were surprised at how messy they were and agreed they were bad. It felt terrible under my nails like they were stuck to my skin. Terrible experience. Was first told to come back a half hour AFTER reservation time. Not a huge deal but time does matter, especially on a holiday weekend with much to do. Then they left me and my friend sitting in a cold tub for our pedicures for over a half hour with no explanation, no offer for a beverage or any "checking in" on us. Then they did my pedicure while my friend didnt have hers started until mine was finished. Hers was literally started 1.5 hours AFTER reservation time. No real apology other than a quick "sorry for the wait." Meanwhile I watched 2 very angry consumers just decide to leave due to the same issues. I understand places may be short staffed but there is no excuse for poor customer service. The service itself was average. Nothing special. Also never even asked what type of pedicure I wanted. I would have as gotten deluxe if they bothered to ask...so they are out extra money. Will NOT be returning. read more

Each time I've come here (probably three times) my shellac nails have chipped away within the first week of getting them (toes and fingers). I know shellac is not supposed to do that, so there's obviously something wrong with their prep or application. The service and amenities were nice except for the quality of the mani or pedi, despite the high cost! I would go somewhere else to get your nails done. read more

Very poor manicure and shellac nail polish. After a few days, my polish began turning orange (I had pink polish). The effect is orange nails with pink swirls and pink toward the end of my nails. I went in and the person who did my nails suddenly couldn't speak English but was able to say it was OK to look like this, polish was thin????? NEVER EVER GOING BACK. The drive to the mall for a guarantee good job is my suggestion. read more
