The lady who did my threading did a great job with the shaping and even convinced me to get my first eyebrow tint. The workers will constantly mention the different services they have. Constantly. Every 60 seconds, they will mention it. I thought agreeing to the extra tint service would make it stop, but then another lady came over and shoved their menu in my face and went into another speech about the services they offer. The color she chose for the tint was too dark for my blonde hair and caused alot of laughter and teasing from my husband. I went home and scrubbed off as much of the tint with clarifying shampoo as I could so it was tolerable. It would have been beautiful with just one shade lighter. The biggest issue was the wound that was left from the threading. I couldn't get a decent picture of it, but it was very clearly from her pinching my skin too tightly in the one spot with the thread. It doesn't look bad, but hurts terribly even several days later whenever I try to put on makeup or moisturizer. It was just a mistake honestly... Overall, this threading was much less painful than others I have gotten. I would like to come back and give them another chance. Maybe it was just an off day.

Now Groupon said it shows redeemed and provider said they never got payment. I am seeking a refund through Groupon and with this provider but let this be a cautionary note. I would not use this provider s what they did feels like fraud. I have logged complaints with BBB and Groupon and will be contacting the NY attorney general office to file a formal complaint. Go someplace that is a reputable service provider and steer clear of this one. They still are selling services through Groupon so watch out!

I will post the photos of the very unprofessional response she left to my review and the appt confirmation I saw the reviews and gave this place a go, but I regret it. I had a bad experience and will NOT come back! There were people (her coworkers) walking in and out of the room during my appt, which was unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. She didn't ask me if it was okay or anything. I got a fibroblast done here with the owner, Maya, where I got permanent hypopigmentation spots on my face and dark burn marks from the pen she used. There are spots that are whiter or lighter than my skin, which means that my skin is depigmented and hypopigmented. She doesn't seem very skilled or knowledgeable with this treatment, so I don't recommend it here at all, even if it's cheaper than other places. Go to a professional like an NP or dermatologist for this treatment, or just don't do it at all. It just made my skin way worse. Now I have to spend so much money fixing this problem that may never leave It has caused me distress over my appearance since my skin got worse than when I came in and there's nothing that can fix it. When I left my review on Google, she told me that I had the wrong place. I've never been to her spa and to delete my review. When I updated it, she gave a very unprofessional response and said I'm not a real client. When people have a bad first experience somewhere, they don't feel comfortable returning, which is how I felt. I didn't feel comfortable reaching out or saying anything because of the way my appt was and the way I felt, and I didn't want to come back. And her reply definitely made me not want to reach out or disclose myself to her. Possibly fixing this issue I got from the fibroblast is something that is advanced and is best done by a health provider like a dermatologist, which is a fact I shared my personal experience and regret that I went here. I'm posting this again for other people to see that I personally don't recommend getting the fibroblast done here. The other treatments are probably fine, but fibroblast should be done by someone with nurse/doctor. Edit: the owner replied once again claiming I'm not a client and said I signed a consent form. This treatment was recommended by her and she reassured me it would work well with my skin and the reason my skin COMPLETELY dipigmented is because of her holding the pen in place too long and over and over in the same spot and constantly rubbing it afterwords with a qtip until it bled even though I told her to leave it so it's clearly due to her negligence and a lack of knowledge/skill issue because of the way in which she used it. Just the way she responds to her negative reviews speaks volumes on how she handles criticism. Any negative review is apparently not possible and everyone is a competitor. The way she responds makes you not even want to reach out. Very unprofessional. Do not recommend at all.

But I also texted her twice as well asking for availability, again during salon hours understandable she could have been with clients all day. However, I'm sitting here at 1am still without a response even though her messages were confirmed to go through. I ended up refunding the Groupon. It's a true bummer because all her Groupon and yelp reviews are stellar. Update: I did get a text back Michelle this morning to schedule services, she didn't want to respond to my texts late at night (understandable). It seemed like a one off hectic day for her, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. She has wonderful feedback otherwise. I would come back to her for services because she is very meticulous with her work and I'd rather support small business than the big chains anyways. She was kind and did try to keep my mind off of the work. Her salon is located in Sola Salons, #14. I just walked around till I found her room, wasn't too hard.

Bree is kind and professional and I could not have had a better experience. She is friendly and conversational and, like any girl's girl worth her salt would do, reminded me that women are not all what we see on tv and that there would be no need to worry. What a relief - you are self-conscious to begin with and that left immediately with her down-to-earth professionalism and friendliness. I was hoping this wax would not be painful compared to sugaring, which is what I was used to. To anyone with concerns- whether it was Bree's skill or the product she used, it felt no different than sugaring and was not anything more than a small discomfort that immediately passed as you would expect from any service like this. I had not one concern or area in need of extra attention, and at my first appointment I received a small goody bag of after-care products. Her prices are very reasonable and her skill is excellent. She has appointments throughout the day, making scheduling around work a breeze & she is located within a salon. Her room is bright, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. I prefer this nail salon over others that are the same diatance from me for a few reasons…read more 1. It looks and smells a lot nicer than the average nail salon, which is usually run down looking. Its well lit and very clean inside. 2. Service is great. Ive never been turned down for a walk in appointment or had to wait excessively long. And im always offered a glass of wine or bottle of water. 3. The massage chairs are a cut above the rest. I would honestly pay just to sit in one for 30 minutes without getting my nails done! Ive never been to another salon with massage chairs this nice. 4. They always get the shape of acrylics right when i get them done. I had nearly given up on ever getting acrylics done again because other salons kept giving me terrible looking acrylics but ive always been happy with what i get here. That being said, i took 1 star away because prices here are higher than average. I personally feel that if im getting a pedicure or acrylics, the upcharge to come here is certainly worth it. If all you want is a simple or gel mani, the experience and result here is fine but not worth the upcharge.
