We were looking all over for a great place to order our balloon and party decorations for for our son's 1st birthday party. Our goal was to order decorations that would be fun and look amazing, while being simple and easy to execute. Well we got all of that and more with Lisa from Paradise Sweets. The giant balloon arch was the star of the show. Hundreds of balloons caught our guest attention as they walked through the door. Then the giant balloons that were hanging high off the ceilings really blew people away. She made a giant picture frame "Photobooth" with my sons name in balloons on the top, which was a huge hit for the party (without being a huge $1000 photo booth rental hit). To finish it off, she made these great centerpieces for all the tables that really took it over the top. This was my first experience with paradise balloons and it was the best one ever. My uncle was coming home from hospital on Saturday after being there for more than 3 months. It was around 930 pm on Friday when I texted the number to just try and see if I can order something to show him we are so blessed to have him back home after 3 months. From a small gift for your special someone to a public gathering decor, I can always trust and depend on Paradise Sweets to handle it with perfect professionalism, creativity and originality. I have entrusted Paradise Sweets in creating a gift for a family (whom I was very close to). I mentioned that it was a gift for no special occasion, that the family was originally from Hawaii (perhaps a Hawaiian theme?), and that they are home at x hours everyday and to have it delivered at x date. Paradise Sweets prepared, created, and delivered. Right after the gift basket was delivered I received a phone call from the family thanking me and spent hours on the phone admiring everything that was included in the baskets. From a teddy bear, to the birds of paradise theme flower, hawaiian related chocolates, to the balloons that came with it. (After the long phone call, you would think they just received a brand new car! lol) As for the decor, I experienced first hand as a temporary staff of Paradise Sweets to help decorate a gathering. The pressure was on, setting up balloons from Paradise Sweets headquarters and transporting them to the set up location, to setting up right on location. We were running around perfecting every detail. If one balloon was under blown, it was to be reblown. If the center piece was facing and/or angling the wrong way, it was adjusted so that all center pieces were facing and/or angling the way it looked right. Out of the hard work and pressure, the finished result was well worth it. Everything came together and I felt most proud of being part of the team to help set everything up. (Ahh, the memories) Paradise Sweets professionalism, understanding, creativity and approachable attitude helps consultations and collaborations easy. We decided to go with them based on the good reviews here, but soon realized this is not a company that you can depend on! Just to get a simple quote from them, took us a month, as they are extremely slow at getting back to people. With 24 hours until the first birthday of a very special baby girl (in a different city), I knew our options were horribly limited. Paradise Sweets Balloons & Gifts...hands down the balloon vendor of choice in my book! I simply didn't research any further for a balloon vendor once I found out that not only were they local to my venue but that they deliver and have done some awesome balloon creations I have ever seen! While I would have loved to have gone all out with their creativity in balloon designs for my son's 1st birthday, my budget just didn't allow for it. Working with LisaMarie was wonderful as she is very personable and willing to work with you in whatever way she can. Given what I had in mind for our table centerpieces, I saved myself on cost by doing half of the creation on my own while LisaMarie provided her creativity in putting the bouquet of balloons together and providing me with balloons you can't find at a Party City or Diddams store. On the day of the party, while preparing the décor of the venue, one of my centerpiece pots cracked when it fell to the floor. LisaMarie saved me as she happened to have a similar pot available at home and even went back home to get it so that I would not have one table without a centerpiece. All we had to do then was switch the decorations from the broken pot to the new one...thank goodness I went with simplicity in design to pull this mishap off! Thanks LisaMarie!
