BRILLIANT! We ordered the Italian Stallion (spicy, they add jalapeños) and the Cuban along with a small container of mac salad and one of potato salad. We found a table outside in the sun, as it was in the low sixties and was perfect outside. We did not have to wait long for our food to come out to us. A woman came out to take our order while licking her fingers, which was not a great first impression. Communication was also extremely difficult, as neither of the two employees working appeared to speak enough English to understand basic questions or concerns. When our food arrived, both meals had the wrong side orders. We had ordered sweet potato fries but received regular fries instead. The biggest issue was my brisket sandwich. It contained very little actual meat and was mostly fat. The brisket was tough and difficult to eat, and the orange cheese on top wasn't even fully melted. The employee watched as I picked large pieces of fat out of the sandwich, yet when I brought it back and explained that the meat was mostly fat, tough, and simply unacceptable, she just smiled blankly and appeared unable to understand what I was saying. The second employee was unable to help as well. In the end, we spent $42 and essentially ate a handful of fries. The food quality, incorrect order, lack of communication, and inability to address a customer complaint made for a very poor dining experience. Wasatch Bagel has been added to our personal "do not return" restaurant list.
