The aesthetics of this charming cafe is welcoming and I love the natural light coming through all the windows. They are known for their homemade churned ice cream and it is DELICIOUS. You can enjoy a scoop, order from their signature scoops menu, and even build your own. If there's a group of you, consider sharing one of their "signature plates." I had one of their signature scoops with strawberry ice cream, freshly chopped strawberries, topped with crushed pistachios and a drizzle of honey ginger balsamic. I asked to add a scoop of their honey ice cream to go with it, and wowww, it was so yummy -- soo creamy and soft without it being too sweet. And I'm not even much of an ice cream gal. We visited the Milkhouse several times while in Midway for Christmas. We had tapas in the snow globes twice and EVERYTHING was delicious! The chef and the entire team made it feel so special. Makari went above and beyond making sure our kids had fun too! We can't wait to come back! read more

Honestly so psyched about this place. I've longed for a cute dessert place in the area for years... the time has come and we finally have one! First off- the inside is darling. Overall, I really appreciate what they have done to this hotel. Before I was a little nervous to step foot anywhere near The Homestead because it was so old and musty. Now, everything feels totally elevated and inviting. When it comes to the food- I only got around to trying the ice cream. I got the almond ice cream with blood orange olive oil and Himalayan salt- the flavors were so unique and already has me thinking about my next visit. Perhaps the batista was new but the coffee was weak more cream then coffee and the peppermint mocha was sans peppermint but made to proper kids temp, so that's a huge plus. This review solely reflect the pastry/coffee options and not the ice cream. The ice cream looked decent! Based on other reviews I was expecting pastries that didn't come prepackaged in a a bag. At least outsourced by a local bakery or something. There were very few options and all the parties looked dry and overprocessed. as the calendar move forward this year, I thought to try out some of Heber and midways cafés and coffee shops that I have never been to. As my friend and I were sitting relaxing, enjoying their high-quality Park city, coffee, and a blueberry muffin. A beautiful little cafe tucked back in the parking lot of the homestead. I had a very tasty chai latte & cinnamon latte. My family enjoyed varies ice creams like honey and almond. Pro tip .. take the first turn into the homestead hotel parking lot.. not the second. Drive the whole way to the back. If all else fails ask the hotel desk where to find it. Had a great time hanging out in this adorable little cafe before heading to the Ice Castles! I got a vanilla latte and it was so delicious and smooth. The best coffee I've had throughout my week in Utah. The barista informed me that they used the Cowabunga Dark Roast (by Fluffy Cow Coffee) which they sell in-store! It is the cutest little coffee shop tucked away on the Homesteads property. It used to be their actual milk barn, but it has undergone quite a few renovations. It has a beautiful modern interior with big windows that bring in amazing light. But really what makes this place special is their homemade hand-churned ice cream! It is quite possibly the creamiest I've ever had!What I really loved about them was their classic ice cream flavors, but their super unique toppings! They have some of the best sauce options like honey, peanut butter, and balsamic vinegar. You can choose from their flavor pairings, or you can create your own.
