The aesthetics of this charming cafe is welcoming and I love the natural light coming through all the windows. They are known for their homemade churned ice cream and it is DELICIOUS. You can enjoy a scoop, order from their signature scoops menu, and even build your own. If there's a group of you, consider sharing one of their "signature plates." I had one of their signature scoops with strawberry ice cream, freshly chopped strawberries, topped with crushed pistachios and a drizzle of honey ginger balsamic. I asked to add a scoop of their honey ice cream to go with it, and wowww, it was so yummy -- soo creamy and soft without it being too sweet. And I'm not even much of an ice cream gal. There's also a variety of homemade fudge, pastries, and your ordinary coffee beverages. But definitely try the ice cream! Service was kind and friendly. Horrible experience! One person working, all food is prepackaged then heated up. Husband's burrito got burned in the oven and was dried out. Croissant was hard and dry. This little cafe/house has a ton of potential-it's super cute, well branded and designed and smack in the middle of the Homestead Resort, so it gets plenty of foot traffic. I love the vibe here. My partner and I ordered some coffee and took it outside to the globes for covered outdoor seating-they were so incredibly cute! The coffee itself was fine, but we were disappointed that several items were unavailable. Maybe they'd just had a rush and ran out of lots of things at once. Service was also a little sub-par. The people behind the counter seemed to be bickering and were not very friendly when taking orders. Again, maybe they'd had a rush right before us, but they didn't really make us feel welcome. Very cute. Sat outside in leather couches. Took forever but most of the food and drinks were good. I wasn't a fan of the burrito. Dry and mostly potato with very little flavor. The place is cute, though not super easy to find. We went for ice cream after a hike given the great reviews. I am a self-proclaimed ice cream connoisseur, and was quite disappointed. The chocolate was fine, but I was disappointed that the waffle cones aren't homemade. My husband got a strawberry milkshake - there were no real strawberries in it, and the color was not a natural pink. He ranked it in his bottom 3 strawberry milkshakes he's had, and threw more than half of it out. read more

We were really excited to stop here while traveling through midway. The exterior and interior of the coffee shop is beautiful! It's so quaint, modern farmhouse. We all ordered coffee and pastries and sat for a bit. I have to say, I was pretty disappointed in the taste of the espresso (seemed a little burnt). Honestly so psyched about this place. I've longed for a cute dessert place in the area for years... the time has come and we finally have one! First off- the inside is darling. Overall, I really appreciate what they have done to this hotel. Before I was a little nervous to step foot anywhere near The Homestead because it was so old and musty. Now, everything feels totally elevated and inviting. When it comes to the food- I only got around to trying the ice cream. I got the almond ice cream with blood orange olive oil and Himalayan salt- the flavors were so unique and already has me thinking about my next visit. Perhaps the batista was new but the coffee was weak more cream then coffee and the peppermint mocha was sans peppermint but made to proper kids temp, so that's a huge plus. This review solely reflect the pastry/coffee options and not the ice cream. The ice cream looked decent! Based on other reviews I was expecting pastries that didn't come prepackaged in a a bag. At least outsourced by a local bakery or something. There were very few options and all the parties looked dry and overprocessed. Unfortunately even the espresso machine was broken and the black coffee was not remotely worth drinking. Great opportunity but lacking substance. read more

as the calendar move forward this year, I thought to try out some of Heber and midways cafés and coffee shops that I have never been to. As my friend and I were sitting relaxing, enjoying their high-quality Park city, coffee, and a blueberry muffin. We were able to have a conversation and relax and enjoy the music and ambience. Very enjoyable, casual, café atmosphere was great music. Highly suggested, and the only observation I would make is make it easier to find. The first location we drove to was the pro shop. Chris gave us some of his time and we enjoyed talking with him. Chloe helped us at the counter. She was very professional and friendly and suggested a couple of copies. read more

A beautiful little cafe tucked back in the parking lot of the homestead. I had a very tasty chai latte & cinnamon latte. My family enjoyed varies ice creams like honey and almond. Pro tip .. take the first turn into the homestead hotel parking lot.. not the second. Drive the whole way to the back. If all else fails ask the hotel desk where to find it. Had a great time hanging out in this adorable little cafe before heading to the Ice Castles! I got a vanilla latte and it was so delicious and smooth. The best coffee I've had throughout my week in Utah. The barista informed me that they used the Cowabunga Dark Roast (by Fluffy Cow Coffee) which they sell in-store! It is the cutest little coffee shop tucked away on the Homesteads property. It used to be their actual milk barn, but it has undergone quite a few renovations. It has a beautiful modern interior with big windows that bring in amazing light. But really what makes this place special is their homemade hand-churned ice cream! It is quite possibly the creamiest I've ever had!What I really loved about them was their classic ice cream flavors, but their super unique toppings! They have some of the best sauce options like honey, peanut butter, and balsamic vinegar. You can choose from their flavor pairings, or you can create your own.
