This is the last time I try to order food from them. First off the service sucks now that the went out and bought an AI answer system. Secondly this was the 3rd time I tried to order delivery and they told me they were only doing credit cards tonight and I'm sorry I'm not paying a 3% credit card fee when they are refusing cash payments. Their is no real customer service with the AI answering system, yes you can get to a person but you shouldn't be told by the AI to order online where they will only allow you to play the order if you're paying with a credit card so the cash customers like myself who don't believe in using credit cards all the time because you can spend more than you have. This place lost my business for good and now I'll make sure everyone knows how crappy their customer service is and how they are trying to force you to pay with a credit card and then you have to pay 3% more than cash customers. Sadly I see this place going out of business with the crappy service they now give you. read more

This place is consistently good - not great, but far from bad. Delivery has always been delivered hot, correct and ahead of schedule. They don't make subs or pizza out west like they do here! Always a must have when I come home, Ellies is a SC staple! Great pizza, and chicken finger subs! The prices are very reasonable and the delivery is always on time (typically 45 minutes.) if you don't feel like waiting for a pizza, and just want a slice you're able to stop in and grab one to go! Amazed. 6 people working at 6pm on a tuesday... Already see red flags when we walk in and the guy is playing with the register and refuses to acknowledge us. A simple "We'll be right with you" would be great but, whatever, I know the feeling of getting sidetracked and overwhelmed in an understaffed pizzeria... After they decided to figure out one of the 6 should be at the front counter... they managed to have us sit and wait a bit (again whatever, minor hiccup, but it's adding). More people came in (about 4 people in total) and each was an adventure. A couple of middle aged women came in to eat a slice and they managed to cock-up the next guy in line's request to be served after the women sat down and they left him standing there with his....bag in his hand, asking if he had to have a "call sign" to get served and they laughed at him without serving him. He packed up and left. Then another person came in..because they are so understaffed at 6 people already... Then upon our food finally being ready they tried to cash 2 of us out at once, cocking that up as well. Clowns. This visit was after they screwed up our order and we were returning to get it "fixed" with a new pizza. We ordered another large pizza (ordered a med on our own) and 2 subs. The large Pizza was meant to be a white pizza... but what whatever grease or mishap that happened to the recipe left us with simply this: Dough, Cheese, Cubed (not sliced) RED onions, and cubed tomatoes (again not sliced). If you know why I paid an extra four or so bucks for this "speciality pizza" then you know I wanted a pizza a bit different and tasty... but with NO OIL or ANY SAUCE? What a dry, expensive, brick of dough, and cheese. I grew up in this area and knew the subs from Silver Creek used to rival Gowanda's local place... now Gowanda is closed and they are playing at running a pizzeria at Ellie's Deli. I ordered two large pizzas last Sunday, they were ready when they said they would be. The staff member that waited on me was friendly and helpful. The pizza tasted good, it was still hot when I got home with it. I think it was a little bit more expensive than I am used to paying though. read more

I've been going to Ellies deli for about 20 years. I call ahead for my orders. I pick them up they usually wait on me in under a minute. They seem never to take any longer than 15 minutes to complete the order from when I call to when I pick them up. I usually only get the pizza logs. They are always cooked to perfection and they have the best marinara sauce I've ever had. The recipe has never changed. It's the only reason I go there is because of the sauce, you can get pizza logs at any pizza place. I give it four stars because the place can use some updating and some paint. read more

Worst service ever. They got the order completely wrong. Within 15 minutes the sub was soggy from too much oil it was assembled like a complete mess. The only thing they got right about the sub was which meat to use and even then didn't even sauce the fingers at all! The bacon was horrible on the blt, which some how was also soggy. The calzone was disgusting the dipping sauce tastes like it was mixed with dish water and was mostly all bread with little to no cheese or meat. read more
