Overall this place was good. I went on a Thursday around lunch time and it was very busy - so expect that, whether you're dining in or getting take out. The wait staff were just okay- she was not very friendly and was making us feel rushed. We also couldn't decide on the sauce for the fingers and her questioning made us feel like we should already know what we want. For the food I would rate it 4/5 overall. They've skimped on lunch slice sizes. When they were near Utica the lunch slice was like 7 inches long, on 6/11 I got a slice that was like 4 inches long. Wise Guys and Ricotta's have bigger lunch slices for nearly the same price. And those places give you 2 slices and a pop, instead of 1 slice cookie and soda. read more

I had Casa di Pizza quite a few years ago and remembered it was very good! Had it last night for the first time while eating there and it was as good as I remember! The service was great, seat yourself but waitress came right over. Sound level was a little loud as all of the sound bounces everywhere. Otherwise great experience! Got stuck in the rain after leaving Zoo. We were wet and hungry. Only pizza and saucy wings could fix this situation. We weren't too far from downtown Buffalo, so Casa Di Pizza, we went !! They do have a pretty sizeable patio, but it was raining, so that was out of the picture. Their dining room was quite packed but still had seats available. They have full bar and also offer take out in the front of the restaurant. So we order their small family pack that comes with a large pizza w/one topping and 20 wings. We got cheese and pepperoni and 10 medium and 10 BBQ. I love their pizza !! The nice cup and charred pepperonis with beautiful cheese pull finished with a tangy sauce!! The wings were made just how I like them crispy yet saucy, nice, plump and juicy!! I also had Lemon flavored Deep Eddy Vodak and soda water with cherries and lemon bc I was feeling fancy,lol ! I have now gotten food here twice but the first time, I was one week away from giving birth so nothing was safe around me. I will comment on both experiences. The first time was for a party and again, very pregnant so I ordered the fettucine rather than eating the pizza and wings that was served at the party. I will say *best fettucine I have ever had. (Asterisk because clouded judgment haha) But AT THE TIME, there was nothing better. The second time, was served to-go and the pizza and wings were okay. The person who had ordered ordered them extra crispy and they were not at all. But I still thought they were good. The bruschetta was the perfect amount and cheese Pepperoni Pizza 8/10 Pizza was good. Nice and cheesy. Sauce was regular but had a slight sweetness, it was also very light. The pizza could have used more sauce. Wings - med - crispy 6/10 They were a little too crispy. So much so that the chicken was dry. The medium is more like a mild, no spice to it at all, and didn't coat them very well. The blue cheese is not the best either. Cheese ravioli 8/10 The kids said the marinara sauce on it was a little spicy for them. I didn't notice it much though. The cheese inside the raviolis was really soft and a good flavor too. French fries 8/10 Pretty good. Could use a few more seconds for some more crunch though. read more

Miss working downtown and eating here weekly, so door dashed to get my fix! The pizza is always solid. Sauce is so good, pizza always cooked to perfection. But my favorite is their subs. All the goombadi subs are just so good. For me, the best steak chicken or sausage subs in the area. Their stuffed peppers are really good, then throw that on some good seasoned meats, winner! First time coming to this spot and was so glad I chose it. Nice bar area where I sat and ordered a pepperoni pizza while I had a blue moon. Mike behind the bar was very friendly and got me everything I needed once the delicious pizza came out. The pizza was perfect tasted like a pan pizza crust and had lots of cheese and crispy pepperoni which had a little kick to it. Im staying in a nearby hotel and was looking for a decent pizza. I found it about a block away @ Casa di Pizza. I opted for the small deep dish and it was more than I could even think about polishing off. That just means I have dinner for the next night of my stay. The crust was about was expected and the sauce, cheese and toppings were all stacked on just right. One suggestion, and they will tell you as well, let it sit for five minutes once it's brought to the table. It'll still be screaming hot and letting it sit helps the toppings all connect with the crust. This is a cool location with the dining area in the back. The to-go counter is at the front. It was kept clean and tidy as folks were coming and going. There are at least 7 tv's going to keep you up on sporting events as well. Music is piped in with song choices being available by a digital jukebox. Definitely worth a try if in the area. read more

I love the location. Here I am on a nice June day sitting in a great patio with a great breeze facing the public library in the hotel Lafayette. Yeah ambiance is above average for sure. Had a couple of drinks and the large pizza special which is $19 on Monday and Wednesdays. The pizza and wings here are the best Buffalo has to offer. The roast beef on weck is in the top three I've ever had in Buffalo (and I've had many). No other place does wings so well, balancing crispiness without being overdone. The pizza uses quality cheese and pepperoni. Service has always been friendly and accommodating. Restaurant is small but is clean and updated inside. Parking is a challenge nearby but it's worth a small walk to get here. read more

Had a pretty average experience with JJ's on a Friday night! Unfortunately, I don't know that this review is based on the full potential of their pizza. I preordered on the Slice app for a 6:30 PM pickup time. I got a notification at 5:30 that my order was ready. Neither me or my boyfriend were available to get it then (which is kinda why I preordered the food), so it was sitting there for a good hour before I was able to get it. We got an order of the spinach bread and a small brick oven-style pizza, half cheese, half mushroom. The food was cold, as you'd probably expect, but the taste was pretty decent! I really enjoyed the bread and the pizza was thin, which I enjoyed. One thing that was odd was that there was a LOT of what we think was cornstarch (to keep the pizza from sticking to the tray while cooking) on the bottom of the pizza. Like a lot a lot. It was all over our table and our clothes by the time we were done eating. I might try here again in the future, but I was kinda bummed that I spent $30 for food that wasn't even warm. 5 minute walk from work and a call ahead order and reserved table. Couldn't ask for a better to have lunch with my co-workers. We only get an hour for lunch so we called ahead to place our order. This review and stars is not about the food. The deep dish pizza we had was really good. The issue was the server. My friend and I went yesterday 12/19 at 11:30. We were looking to try a deep dish pizza and decided on Casa Di Pizza. The menu price is $15.99 for a cheese deep dish pizza. We added pepperoni. We both had waters to drink. So you would figure it was pretty simple to figure out. Our waitress dropped off the bill. The bill read ( I may be a few cents off) $25.63. The bill said something like $21.00 for cheese pizza and $2.49 for pepperoni. I brought this to the attention of our server who blamed it on the pricing in the register. So , She change it. She then brought back a new bill for $23.26ish. The price of the pizza with pepperoni was now $22.00 roughly. Knowing pepperoni is $2.49 going of the last itemized bill. The pizza was still overcharged by $3-$4 . I told my friend I am not going to say anything and just pay it. I'm fine with it. Sometimes it is just easier to pay and get out. My friend left $6 for the tip. So , I gave her a $50 for the bill of $23.26. I joked with my friend that I better count the change. My change came back, She gave me $25 even. So she shorted me $1.74. I am not sure if she thought we would not notice. At this point it has me wondering if she was trying to pocket money all 3 "mistakes". I did not mention anything about incorrect change. I unfortunately just grabbed $3 from the tip. I am not happy that I did that and feel bad for it. But something was definitely up with this. I would go back for the food. If you do go there. Eating a slice of their pizza brought back memories of the Elmwood of yonder years. Memories of my nearby Catholic high school, leg-warmers, poofy hairdos, ripped off the shoulder t-shirts....
