I came in to get my bmw looked at . I told them a couple of problems I knew it had and I wanted them all to be fixed . When I came back which was over 4 hours later they told me they only had fixed 1 of the problems and tried to charge me for that and a diagnoses . I already knew what was wrong I never needed anyone to diagnose it and on top of all of this that older lady in the front desk is obviously miserable with her life she's rude as hell and think she knows everything . Once they fixed it I made them take the part out and undo what they did because they fixed the smallest problem that my car had I could've done at home I wanted the whole problem solved but instead I wasted 150 on a diagnoses and my time . read more

I wanted to thank the staff for taking great care of My son's 328i xdrive (foot well module) repair in a timely manner.

Took my vehicle in for a diagnosis, and unfortunately, they found that my motor was on the verge of seizing. The repair costs turned out to be nearly equal to the value of my vehicle, so I decided to pay the diagnosis fee and retrieve my car. I had AAA come to pick up the car and tow it back home. However, there was an issue with the tow truck being too big to fit into their parking lot, which meant the vehicle had to be manually pushed from the back of the lot. Emma, who handled the invoice, made it clear not to start the car. During the loading process, one of the technicians disregarded the instruction and tried to start the car. I intervened and reminded him that it was not supposed to be started and that it needed to be pushed instead. Unfortunately, he responded rudely, saying, "Well, you need to get to pushing it then, and the damage is already done." Eventually, he called his fellow technicians to manually push the car out. Overall, the interaction was quite unpleasant, mainly due to the technician's attitude and disregard for the given instructions. read more

The best auto repair in town!!!!! The best!!! I took Mercedes here because the sunroof is broken. Because it wasn't at a drivable condition and I'm at Sac which is 35 mins away from home, they let me leave the car a week before my appointment in their garage. The repairing simply cost too much so he helped me to close the sunroof without fixing it and charged me little. It took him quite a long time but he didn't charge me that much. The battery light came on in my 2015 c300. A friend of mine recommended this place which was very convenient, since I live about 15 mins away. I called and they were able to get my car in the next day. I was quoted for a battery plus installation and I asked if there was anyway they could lower the estimate. I brought my car to this horrible establishment Ellio's German auto place with One problem just one problem but when I picked my car up, a bunch of other problems that wasn't going on with my car before dropping off is now a problem it's almost like they tore my car apart things that wasn't wrong prior to me dropping my car off was now needing repaired. so now I gotta take it to somewhere else and pay more money and it's sad because I feel like I've been taking advantage of as a woman a single parent and I don't have money like that for them to tear up my car like that so they can earn extra money that they don't deserve. I'm telling you do not take your car there I'm telling you you'll regret it. They weren't even friendly no smile no nothing no genuine jester or anything it just kept saying that I had all these things wrong with my car however my car passed smog and has been checked out prior and nothing was ever wrong with my car but this one problem of a battery turned into a whole bunch of things not working in my car to this day and now I'm telling you do not take your car there I'm just praying that people will read this and listen to me when I say don't do it. read more

I had the privilege of taking my wife's car here and I was actually happy when I left. I think I'm going to trade in my Land Rover for a BMW. Not only did my Wive's car warranty pay for the work, the didn't try to sell me a million things other than what I needed by the time I left. I'm sorry but 99 out of 100 repair shops will tell you a million things you don't need. I'm tired of that crap when I go to a dealer service center, and then they charge you another 30% on top of it. I waited for the work, they made me 2 coffees and I later asked for soda but was offered a beer, since they were out of soda. Overall I'm quite happy and I would recommend Ellio's to anybody with a BMW. I saw a few Mercedes there but we can go down that road when it comes. read more

I took my BMW to see if I really needed an oil filter housing gasket done along with an oil pan gasket which I was told by another shop! Emma from Ellio's is so honest and helpful and thank goodness I came to them as not only I needed the oil filter housing gasket but my belt needed to be replaced along with something else important and the other shop never stated these issues ! Fortunately I came to Ellio's as my son was going to take it to Vegas ! The repairs were done with not having to do the oil pan gasket and my son made it safe to Vegas with no issues! Very dissatisfied and disappointed. We bought our Mercedes s.u.v for a oil change $155,we were then told we needed breaks changed,and were qouted $560+ another $400 in labor (break jobs shouldnt even take 3hours)though we were aware that was a steep qoute we still agreed because we were already there.With h. Buyer beware! I was fooled by the positive reviews and the family owned values of shop and dealership. Unfortunately I purchased a vehicle under false pretenses and there was several thousand dollars of undisclosed issues. I didn't think I needed an outside inspection done because they seemed like hardworking honest people who had nothing to gain from willfully misleading someone into making a purchase (especially when I have in writing several times the alleged state of the car's condition) but it appears that was a big and naive mistake. When I brought the car in for a post purchase inspection I was shocked when the dealership told me all that was wrong with the car. When I called Ellios to hold them accountable - they got defensive and said the dealership was lying to make money. Genuinely wanting to agin take them at their word I went out of my way and got a second opinion... and surprise! The second mechanic corroborated everything the dealership said was wrong and outed Ellios for lying. Now they have ghosted me and left me with a very hefty repair bill. Shame on these people for taking advantage of a young persons first big independent purchase. I geniunly hope they get the karma they deserve read more

I brought my mini cooper in for an oil change and because the check engine light had lit up. Emma and Robert were so helpful! Robert found out that my warranty was still in effect, so he was able to save me money right away! I will be in the market soon again for a E Class CDI as my current S class is not practical as a commute vehicle. I bought a CDI from Ellio's back in 2016 as my first car when I was 16 years old. Emma and I believe Robert? And Sergio...Assured me that this was a reliable vehicle and good for a first car and they were absolutely accurate about that. Flash forward almost 6 years and the CDI I bought is now driven by my sister and has 200k miles compared to the 65k miles in had when we bought it and has only needed normal maintenance, compared to my 6 year old S class that is nickel and dining me to death. It has been the best vehicle purchase I have made (and I've had over 12 cars since). I will probably be coming back to these guys as Emma was great to work with back then and I'm sure is still a pleasure.
