My husband and I dropped of my Mercedes for routine maintenance, the shop was clean, people were nice, I thought this would become my regular auto shop. Until we ended up paying $240 for a visual look and a supposed oil change- that did not occur! When I went in to pay, my husband checked the oil - that they claimed was changed - but it was very dirty. The woman said "that's what it looks like our barrel, let me show you our oil" BUT it was nice and clean - her tested only proved her wrong! Then another employee did a comparison and he was wrong! They said some of the other fluids were slightly low - but for $240 why can't they top it off?? They called the owner but he would not do anything except insisting that he changed the oil and wanted me to agree with him, which I would NOT! it was dirty! Everyone agreed that it was still dirty. not even a $5 discount to keep a customer... gee.. what ever happened to customer service? Just got a bmw 335is. New to bmws and I knew mine needed some work. The mechanics assured me my car was running good and noticed the oil leaks I was planning on fixing. I haven't seen a leak since(been two days) but the whole reason I'm leaving a review is I brought my car in dirty and they returned it to me washed and clean! I dropped off my BMW For an inspection, oil change and a diagnostic . the quote was reasonable and affordable... they got my car done in a day or so which was not a problem for me. they called me up and I picked up my car which I noticed was really running very smoothly plus, they also washed my car really good . A couple years ago my car (2011 328i Bmw) was brought to here from Carmax because they were unable to deal with the repairs. It was brought in to replace the serpentine belt because it had snapped and parts went flying all over the fan and engine. I did not really deal with Ellio's because Carmax had handled everything. Ellio's was able to fix my car and give it back to me as good as new. Most recently I had another issue come up with my vehicle (replacing spark plugs, coil #5, resealing differential and oil pan reseal). I gave a call to Ellio's to set up an appointment to have my car checked out. From that point on I was working with Emma who was extremely helpful during this process she kept me up to date the entire time. Turn around time for my car was about 3-4 business days which might have been done sooner but I told them to take there time with it because I didn't need it right away. When the car was finished Emma had notified me and when I went to pick up my car it was running great and they even washed it for me. This place provides great car and customer service. I will continue to take my car here in the future for Major and minor repairs. read more

I come here for a smog related issues that my C -class wasn't passing smog. After doing the diagnostic they tell me to change my EGR pipe on the car due to it being clog for the smog not passing, however, I know they were trying to scam me because I just change it prior taking my car in for their service. I told them no, I change it already and then they say yea its fine. LOL... If you know nothing about cars they will try to jipped you. Furthermore, my car still wasn't able to pass smog until I took it to the actual MB dealership they were able to pin point the issues and fix it. I took my 2007 BMW here for an annual service and they changed my oil ($60) and did an inspection and charged me $235. Little did I know that inspections are generally free everywhere else. They also told me that my front and back brakes need to be done even though they were done 9 months ago. When I told them the brakes were recently done they said "don't know what to tell you, maybe it is how you drive." They also found some other problems and gave me quotes as well as recommended when I should have these services done. I emailed their quotes and recommendations to my dad and he quickly realized I had been taken advantage of and told me not to go back for any of it. I then took my car elsewhere to Capitol City European after getting a recommendation from a used BMW dealer and they did a full inspection for free, which is standard except at Ellio's who charge $200. Capitol City European told me that the brakes did not need to be done until they are at 3mm and mine currently have 6mm left and they recommended that I wait until the brake light warning comes on. They also said several of the items Ellio's recommended were not indicated at this time. Additionally, the belt and tensioner quote that I had from Ellio's was $100 more. I really wanted to like Ellio's as it is family owned and the front office staff were very friendly but after getting a second opinion I realized that I was deceived and lost $235. Very disappointed but I am glad I got a second opinion or I would have spent thousands of dollars having unnecessary services done. read more

Hello there, I have a 2006 325i. I have been to he'll and back dealing with Niello BMW. Ellios was highly recommended to my husband by sagovia car detail in dixon BTW he is outstanding for the work he does and super reasonable. But anyways I called Eillos this morning Emma told me she would send a tow truck to Niello to pick up my car which I was thrilled to hear. My car just stopped while driving my daughter around town for errands (she just had surgery and can't drive). AAA came to our rescue and said it was a battery--but they don't provide mobile service for MBZs batteries. Once the car was jump-started I needed to take it somewhere because I couldn't risk turning off the engine. This is officially my favorite place to take my BMW Z3. After just buying it, the transmission light came on and I was very freaked out. Who wouldn't be!!?Emma helped me out with setting up my appointment and assured me that everything was gonna be fine. They set me up for an appointment early for the following morning. I dropped my car off and when I picked up the car they explained to me what had happened and what to do from here. Trying to buy a set of tires + wheels combo from this shop that is advertised as new. Called in and spoke with Sergio and was told the tires are 2 years old thus bargained the price and made a deal. The day before pick up, I called in again and ask Sergio to please send me a picture of the tire production date (because the pictures they used on eBay are blurry and you can't see either the size or the dates printed on the tires) because I plan to mount these wheel + tires on and drive 3 hours home safely but he told me there's no production date on the tires. Every single tire is supposed to have molded-in production week and year regardless of the brand or size. and it is a legitimate question to ask before handing my cash over. On the 2nd phone call, he then told me the tires has been sitting in the shop for at least 2 years so now it is possible the age of tire is at least 3 to 4 or maybe 9 years old since these wheels were made back in 2006 and was purchased new from the dealer. Knowing that, I then asked him to please lower the price since the tires are pretty much no use and all that's left in the deal that are usable are the rims. He quickly told me he doesn't want to sell it to me anymore and he'll sell it to someone else. In a recent industry conference presentation an agency representative said 90 deaths and more than 3,000 injuries were "probably caused by tire aging or where tire aging was a significant factor". And according to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says aged tires are "prone to failure" and that "tire aging occurs whether a tire is driven or not" I am writing this not because he is not willing to sell the wheels and tires to me, but because I think they should not be annoyed by customer when a customer requests to know the age of tires they are selling. I urge those who are going to purchase tires from this shop in the future to verify the age of tires before your purchase because this relates to serious safety issues. read more

I looked for a shop to service my 1991 Mercedes 350sdl, when I moved here last year from S. California. I had extensive work done a few moths ago, over $4,000...all new front end, water pump, fuel injectors and lines, tensioners, belts, motor mounts and more. Just took it back in for some leaks. I needed to replace a bunch of worn gaskets and O rings, new fuel filters and some other parts...my car has NEVER run this GOOD!!!!!!! They take very good care of what needs replacing or is due to fail, this car is 22 years old but looks great, and now it runs like it was NEW!!
