First time bringing my Siamese and Ragdoll in and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Johnny was communicative the whole time, patient, and clearly knows what he's doing. Both cats came out with matching sanitation shaves, trimmed nails, and fresh baths, looking and smelling like they deserve. I've been coming to Pawlish Paws for over 15 years, and they have always provided good service until I brought my Bernadoodle in for grooming. My son brought our Bernadoodle in to be groomed, and they convinced him that he was matted and required a summer cut. My son reluctantly agreed, and they completely shaved him. To do a summer cut requires no finesse in grooming, and they charged me $189 for a cut that took less than 15 minutes that is no different than a farmer shearing his lambs. Here is a picture of what matted hair looks like, and pictures of my dog before his summer cut. If you look at his summer cut, check out his ears and tail, you can see they did take the time to brush out. Which means they were too lazy to accommodate us. I also pointed out to them that when I brought him there last year, they were accommodating to my request of a trim and could pull up the record on their system. They made the excuse that they couldn't do it because their system was in transaction mode. I question their integrity because they used to list the prices of the services they provided. Now they can subjectively name their prices. I expressed my concerns, and this group of employees quickly dismissed me, saying my pet was a big dog, therefore it cost more, no bigger than my Huskies, which I paid far less for grooming. If you have experienced this type of customer service, stand your ground and demand that they meet your needs/desires for your pet's grooming. Stevie was AMAZING with my two kiddos! Blooper & Lilly arrived stinky, fluffy, and with long nails, but thankfully after Stevie's patience, hard-work, and attention to detail, both kiddos look perfect and smell SO clean! Blooper (white dog) has some anxiety, socializing issues, and wiry fur which was growing unevenly due to our previous groomer; but Stevie was able to shave Blooper down to the perfect length and even everything out. She even got Blooper's face trimming so beautifully so she can see again! Lilly (brown dog) has long nails that grow out quickly. Stevie was able to cut Lilly's nails to the perfect length and even trim her facial hair beautifully too! When I returned to pick up Lilly & Blooper, they were calm, happy, and excited to go home! I I've been taking my dog to Polished Paws for over 10 years. I have seen a change with the owner, she is passive/aggressive and has been rude during my last two visits. You ask her questions and she answers sarcasticly. All she wants to do is set in her chair and take your money. My dog always looks happy and smells good after coming here. They have been helping me groom my dog since I adopted him, and the cute bandanas around his neck as he runs up to me in excitement always make my day. Although the haircuts vary quite a bit depending on who cuts him even though I request relatively similar haircuts, they all had their own charm. They are also able to get him super white compared to what I can do at home with my standard dog shampoos. Also, not sure how they get him to smell good for weeks since the shampoos I use only last a few days before he starts smelling like grass. read more

I don't even know where to begin... the disappointment is beyond words. After years of taking our furbabes to Cassidy and being completely loyal to Pawlished Paws we will no longer be back bc of the way we've been treated by Heather the owner. I cancelled 24 hours per their policy and was completely shamed by Heather, please know I understand that our groomer blocks out a certain amount of time so I make good effort to never cancel unless absolutely necessary however I shouldn't have an issue about having to cancel within the allotted time frame. I've never had a problem with any of the other girls at the salon they are all great. This truly unfortunate as our babies loved and adored Cassidy. The emotional stress Heather's has caused our babies is devastating. Having to find a new groomer because her ego couldn't handle a direct response to her tactics and manipulation. I offered to pay the late cancellation fee Heather and you said No, to be clear I rarely cancel any of my appointments. We've been coming to Cameron for several years now, and we're always happy with her work. Even though it's about an hour drive for us, it's absolutely worth it. We've called other salons closer to home, but their prices are much higher, and the quality and service here keep us coming back. In all our visits, we've never experienced any rudeness or negativity quite the opposite. The staff has always been professional and welcoming. As for the cancellation fee some people mention, it's important to be realistic appointments here take hours, and that's valuable time set aside specifically for you. It's completely fair for a business to protect that time. We personally do our best not to cancel, but when something unavoidable comes up, we understand and respect their policy. I called the grooming salon today to book an appointment and also ask why it takes from 9am-5pm to groom my 8-pound Maltese. I believe it was Heather who answered the phone, and she was very unpleasant. Honestly, a customer service class might be helpful. She claimed my dog is "aggressive," but in reality, my dog has anxiety which is understandable in a salon filled with large dogs, cats, and constant loud noises. I even give her animal CBD to calm her nerves, since she's there all day. If my dog is supposedly so aggressive, why would the salon continue servicing her? And why put a groomer at risk, if that's really the case? That doesn't make sense. On top of that, it has never taken this long to groom her before. For years, her appointments were reasonable, so why all of a sudden does it take eight hours? While I was trying to have a conversation, Heather was talking to the groomers in the background, trying to validate her points. First, she said no dog stays longer than four hours, but then quickly changed her story, saying dogs with color treatments can take six or more. Meanwhile, my dog has been here for seven years, and yet she still spends an entire day at this salon. What makes this worse is that I no longer live in the area, but I was still willing to continue coming here out of loyalty and what I thought was a good rapport. My commute during rush hour is a total of three hours round trip and yet, after all that, we get treated like we're invisible and always serviced last. Heather saying "what are you getting at?" You charged way too much to have such a trashy attitude. I expect this from places like Petco not places where I am paying over $100+ tip. Heather hung up on me, telling me "have a nice day," then actually called me back I'm guessing not to resolve anything, but to argue. After that, she sent me a follow-up text trying to explain herself, but by then I had no interest. I've decided I will never return and will be advising my friends not to either. Professionalism is at an all-time low. Focus on grooming the dogs properly instead of constantly worrying about dyeing your own hair. Oh and NO NEED TO REPLY GERALD ... GOOD DAY SIR read more

We've been taking our our Fur children here for a while. Only one time did they listen to our instructions. We really Brush our dogs well before taking them in. And instead of clipping them they shave them very short and I have told them I don't want them with super short hair but yet they did it again. Not listening to us. They just want to take the easy, lazy way out and shave your dog. They did not clean or dogs face and around eyes at all. They have tears that run down their eyes. It looks terrible!!! So we are taking our business somewhere else.Not only that, we bought some dog treats little bites and on the back I read it has toxic ingredients in them.They need to be taken off the shelf. I am here to leave a super thank you note to this grooming salon whom always went above and beyond with my rescue doggy Harus. He was a client of Taj, Cassandra and then, the last 3+ years or so, with Lauren. It is with a heavy heart that I inform Pawlished Paws that my best boy ever , Haru, has crossed the rainbow a few months ago. His health was worse beyond his severe arthritis, which I am forever grateful that Pawlished Paws did their best on taking care of Harus without forcing him (in 2024 he began to not want to stay up for the groomers to trim his hair anymore for long periods of times). I took my dog here for the first time yesterday & her appointment turned into a nightmare! When I dropped off my dog she was in perfect shape and when we arrived they told us they had accidentally cut her paw and had let me know ( that was my first sign ) then 5/10 minutes into going back home her eyes started shutting completely! I called back and asked if anything else had happened & they said no, we picked her up at 4 & fast forward to that night we ended up having to go to the emergency vet because my poor dogs eyes were hurting her and she wasnt able to open them! While we were there for hours they finally told us she had gotten ulcers in both eyes and were pretty large and caused her significant damage! They had let us know it was from either getting cut in the eye from their shavers or from whatever soap they used it caused severe burning to her eyes! From this single appointment she now has to have a cone on for 2 weeks, we have to put eye gel in her eyes 3-4 times a day, & now have to make an follow up appointment after already spending hundreds at the vet! Mind you when we first called and had let them know all heather did was offer a free service grooming for next time. I thought that was pretty ridiculous after what she just caused my dog! I would definitely never go back there and if I can rate it a zero I would! This was completely traumatizing to my poor dog! It's so sad seeing her like this. read more
