They said they were able to deliver on a certain amount of orders. I saw here and was quick to response. I had a family dinner of 20 ppl and gave Co Hoang a try. We did everything through text. The day of which is Saturday, 12/20/25, I was to pick up the food at 5pm. You have to text the 15 minutes before meeting them up at a parking lot. Texted and met up with them, food was still piping hot. The whole process was very smooth. What I ordered: * Small Soúp Măng Cua/Bong Bóng Cá Asparagus Crab Meat soup - $120 * Small Gỏi Sứa Tôm Thịt Ngó Sen- $50 * Small Mì Xào / Chow Mein - $50 * Chả Giò / Egg Rolls- $1.50 each * Small Bò Mông Cổ / Mongolian Beef- $60 for 3 lbs of meat * Small Cơm Chiên Cá Măn / Salted Fish Fried Rice - $55 REVIEW FOOD- Overall the food was delicious and not overly salty, so it's great for the older people's taste. We had two tastings, one upon signing the contract and a final one closer to the date where we were able to bring along family and a close friend. They served us full plates of every dish so we even left with plenty of leftovers, which was such a fun bonus for us! Throughout the planning process, they were very easy to communicate with and were highly responsive via email. It was super convenient having them coordinate the table design at their warehouse, including the linens, plateware, and glassware. While the design meeting isn't a "boutique" curated experience, their warehouse has plenty of options to choose from if you already have a general color palette and vibe in mind. On the wedding day, the staff was extremely attentive and brought us hand rolls before cocktail hour even started to ensure we actually got to eat. The live hand roll station was a massive hit with our guests and absolutely delicious. I also appreciated how open they were to our custom cocktails; I provided my own recipe and li hing powder for a pineapple li hing margarita, which they executed perfectly. Cost-wise, this is not a budget vendor and is on the more expensive side. However, the full-service, high-touch planning and day-of experience, from the tastings to the seamless coordination of all design elements, completely justified the price. You truly get what you pay for, and we have no regrets. If food is a top priority for your wedding, we highly recommend Michi's. Their expertise made our day so special, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

Went to their website to order catered buffet lunch for a board retreat happening the next day in Los Altos. As before site easy to navigate with a variety of options to tailor. The first clue that there might be issues was I wasn't able to see or select my ideal delivery time for later in the day. I thought they were already booked for the time. Then when I confirmed & paid for my order, the interface provided a message at bottom of my receipt that catering orders must be made 48 hours in advance. I did it the night before our retreat. (Made note to self to order 48 hours in advance in future) I was disappointed that the website did not clearly note must be made 48 hours in advance or message before I paid that I was ordering less than 48 hours. After making a decent size order for 9, I went in mode hoping to salvage this order. I sent email to restaurant and left a voicemail that night with intention to call in morning to ensure they can fulfill order or provide a refund if they cannot. I called in morning to leave another message in hopes they check messages before their Saturday opening time of 11am which would not allow enough time to cook & deliver. So while setting up for our retreat and searching for a plan B for lunch the hour before retreat starts at 9:30am, I discovered several missed calls. To my delight it was Lorena confirming that they can complete the order, to call back & that would need to pay $20 to deliverer (lunch delivery is complimentary during weekdays near to their restaurant). She left voicemail and text. When I called back, I thank her and Athena grill for coming through. Fast forward, food delivered in mobile hot boxes as expected on time by a couple, quietly arranged in the back of room, generous serving for 9, and very hot for traveling from Santa Clara to Los Altos. I confirmed with Lorena via text and expressed my gratitude who again was responsive. The food was enjoyed by all. We had salad (crisp w/dressing on side), grilled veggies (chunky cut that were firm not mushy), spanakopita (crisp phylo w/good size filling), vegetarian moussaka (would not miss the meat), rice (loose and more than enough for 9 of us), grilled skewered chicken (always moist), grilled salmon (first time and was good portion), and baklava (tasted home made). One of my colleagues asked if food was Halal, which I think they confirmed. Unsure if correct, so suggest contact restaurant directly. Brought leftovers for Hubby & Dad to enjoy. I found this event managing company while looking for event managers for our daughters wedding, that happened this year in May 2017 at Nepradak Hall, Montague expy , sanjose. We started to work with Maria since 2016 June. We needed a Wedding coordinator, who was flexible and patient, as we had to do the 3 events on same day. An Indian Hindu wedding in the morning + lunch, American christian wedding in the mid afternoon + tea, ice cream and a reception in the evening + dinner. Indian weddings tend to be opulent in decorations, arrangements and service. Not an easy job. She was in charge of all the events for all table settings, floral decorations, reception settings , all of silver ware, chivari chairs, backdrops, up lights. For Hindu wedding, Maria's team had to build Mandap ( 16 x 16 , wedding ceremony stage) and decorate as per Indian wedding ceremony needs. Mandap with very well draped canopy with floral arrangements had to be ready by 7am. Her team started at 4 in the morning and had it all ready by 7am including the out door seating arrangements for 250 guests. Finished work was simply too good. As a prep work, she did multiple trail settings for us with out any extra fee. For american wedding, she provided excellent wedding stage, floral arch, backdrop. Reception food had different variety, indian, american type. Maria supplied american food. Every one just loved her Salmon. I can write forever about Maria's unconditional service for a very fair price. Since then I and several of our friends have recommended her to other friends. read more

Para empezar La senora que Iva a areeglar la iglesia estaba poniendo las flores al momento que todos ivamos a entrar a misa....dejo todos los arreglos florales en el piso! Le pague por flores para la iglesia y aparte para el salon, pues no solo me robo el dinero de las Flores que le pague para el salon, porque me llevaron las de la iglesia pero tambien no fue lo que yo le pedi ni por lo que yo le pague. En la comida le pague aperitivos que jamas sirvieron porque se les olvidaron llevarlos a la fiesta....sirvieron chips y salsa en platos de papel cuando le pague serca de $300 Dolores por cristaleria.....pague por meseros que jamas hicieron su trabajo solo se la pasaron metidos en la cocina! A final de todo quice hablar con la duena y despues que le pague nunca me volvio a dar la cara y me pidio 15 Dias para devolverme una ridicula cantidad de dinero comparado a todo lo que le pague por todo lo que hicieron mal! I was running out of time and I had already settled in a caterer. key word settled. I was still unsure of the quality of food and was not willing to settle. giving it one more try in google I came across Elma's catering. I meet them and they gave me a tasting. I was amazed with the type of food they provided. everything was so exquisite and their price is very affordable. I recommend their birria de res. It was to die for. Maria the owner, was very patient and very helpful throughout the process she went above and beyond the day of the wedding. EVERY and I mean every one would not stop talking about how good the food was. It was delicious. You know that people remember the food and I am glad that our food was unbelievable. Maria and her team did really well and organized thing well too. The only thing I would say it needed to be better but it was ok was the bartenders they told guest there wasn't anymore tequila and there were 4 big bottles left.... We just had our wedding party this Saturday! Elizabeth and her amazing team were so awesome! Elizabeth did an amazing job at our wedding she helped out a lot! She is organized, she knows, everything about how a traditional wedding is. We had so much fun! It was a blast! We ordered food and decorations they cleaned up afterwards. Her team was on it! Over due review :) Elmas catering hosted our Christmas party and it was all very delicious. All my co workers where very impressed with the decor, the flowers , and the photo booth . The food was so great a lot of people ate twice . We where very happy with the results and plan to use them for our company luncheons in the future . The delivery's came in the day before and the fresh flowers where deliberated in the morning . The food was set up beautifully and it was very presentable and very tasty . read more

In front was the table for the bride, groom, and their two kids. They left space open in the front and in the middle of the room for dancing and the food. Come dinner time, they set up a buffet style table and we grabbed food that way. Downstairs, they had a photo booth set up up by the entrance of the building. There's a beautiful round staircase that takes you upstairs to the dining hall. Nice venue for a wedding. The building from the outside doesn't look like much, but you can do a lot with the space inside.
