The veggies and chicken fajitas were flavorful and cooked just right, the rice and beans were spot on, and the bread/tortillas were perfect for tacos. We cater from them on a regular basis. I've tried their Crepes, Pancakes, French toast, and quiche. Crepes Benedict was good as usual. but the Hollandaise sauce is in the heavier side. Made me feel full quickly. The pound cake is my least favorite. It's dried, flat, not fluffy. Croissant, danish and muffins are usually good. Packages are really nicely layered with foil sheet to keep them warm. Breakfast entrees are around $16, comes with main entree, juice, fruit bowl and a pastry. Pretty good value. Working in a hospital during Covid can be daunting. With the cafeteria being closed for months now and us Healthcare workers being apprehensive on be out and about to grab food is our only recourse. Moving to the present, our job has been catering our lunches from this amazing catering company. I've tried many of their entrées and I find myself searching for their teriyaki children with white rice and vegetables. It's something I would order at a restaurant and that's the quality you'll be getting. Attention to details with their food is evident as the flavor is there and everything is cooked perfectly. I just had the most delicious dinner from Entrees Unlimited, delivered cold and ready to heat when you are ready. The chicken marsala was highly recommended and was even better than I expected. It came with rice pilaf, romaine salad with balsamic dressing and garlic bread. The dinner pack price for 5 for the chicken marsala is $65. I have been ordering the oven ready meals a few months after a neighbor recommended and it has been such an awesome time saver! The service is excellent and it's very easy to order. Our favorite meals are the Sonoma menu (steak balsamica) and I like the party packs because they work for a couple meals for a lot of kids. My review is just based on my first phone call with the company. I called to inquire about their catering services for my upcoming wedding and the person spoke to was rather unfriendly. Firstly, he just asked me a few basic questions and he could not stop talking and imposing his "ideas" on me. And he told me, if i do not like his proposal or did not want to adhere to it(implication based on words and tone of his voice), i could look for another caterer (he really said that!) Although i appreciate his valued opinion since he is more experience than me in the catering business, he did not take the time to listen to my questions and concerns. We just had Entrees Unlimited cater our annual Thanksgiving Feast at our company for the first time. Ordered for 70. We usually use them for smaller meetings of about 10-20 but decided to try them out for this very important entire company event. They did an exceptional job and the food was AMAZING. The turkey and the ham was to die for. It was so tender and tasty. The ham was better than honey baked hams in my opinion. The stuffing was incredible and all the fixings that came with it were all made to perfection. They set up everything, provided all the utensils we could possibly need and even provided take home containers for the leftovers. Which I must say was a lot. The amount of food they provide is always much more than we expect. For the past few years they have always provided us the very best of service and the best quality food possible. No matter what is chosen from the menu that day, everyone raves about how delicious it was. Probably the most amazing catered food that I have ever had. Their food is very fresh and they have an amazing amount of variety in what they serve. Their sandwich plates were great with a delicious entree and well-matched side dishes (the grilled chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious with a fresh fruit side!). Their salads are also out of this world! If you think a salad can't be a full meal, you have not seen the salads that this place puts out. Poor service. We used them recently and they completely under delivered on what they promised. (1) They promised a continental breakfast and the 30 people it was for couldn't even eat the food, most left and purchased their own food {it was that bad} (2) They charged us for lunch after we (and the 30 others) saw what a scam the breakfast was and after we cancelled we were still charged. (3) The person on the phone had poor customer service when we tried to resolve this and I see I am not the first person to point this out. (4) They were a complete nightmare to deal with and I feel incredibly bad for anyone who gets duped into using their services. (5) I myself tried to eat their breakfast and got sick off of it, I should've walked across the street like some of the others did but since it was on my tab I tried to stick it out. It's not that they didn't provide breakfast, it's that they didn't provide what they advertised and on top of that wasn't good, then they tried to scam us on the lunch and still charge the card. If I could give zero stars I would. Recently used them to cater a breakfast for 30 people. When I order food for 30 I expect what is delivered to feed 30. There was barely enough food to feed 10, and what paltry amount we were given was disgusting. To make matters worse, when an associate of mine called to complain, he was treated with utter disrespect by the owner, who apparently took it personally that we were dissatisfied. Well, you should take it personally, because it was you who promised enough food to feed 30 people and it was you who did not deliver on that promise and still had the nerve to charge almost $500 for the equivalent of what would have come out to 40 bucks at Costco. We used these guys for our wedding and we wished all our vendors were like this! We worked with John, and he is great. Here was the scene at our wedding -- I am Indian. My husband is part Chinese-Thai and Hungarian. That means we had Indian people(traditional and non-traditional), Thai people, and European people. We also had people who really don't like spice and those who only want to eat spicey foods. We love food, so needless to say the menu and having people love the menu as much as we do. We wanted people to eat what they were used to, but feel comfortable enough to try something different. We worked with John at Entrees Unlimited, and he made that happen! He discussed the menu with both my husband and I at length. He coordinated getting the Indian food from a local restaurant, and then made the rest of the entrees a fusion of East and West. PEOPLE LOVED IT!!!!!! The best part is how he scheduled the tasting with us. He brought us enough food for about 10 people, told us what it was, and then left us to eat it or share it. He brought it over, just as he would on the day of the event. His hands off, not in your face approach to figuring out whether or not we were going with entrees unlimited was what I really appreciated. We were not pressured one bit, but were able to decide based on the food. So, the food was great, but more than that, John coordinated everything with our venue, and he coordinated the venue staff. In order to have people enjoy the food, it was imperative that everything was labelled properly. Not only that, he and an assistant were there supervising the buffets and answering questions about the food. John seemed genuinely concerned about our wedding and seemed to care about its planning (even in areas not related to food.) He was willing to make whatever we wanted, and he kept doing retastings based on changes we were making to the menu. He also made sure that the left overs were packaged and delivered to our honeymoon suite so that we could enjoy it later. We'll never get married again, but I know we'll be using Entrees-Unlimited in the future. Our menu (non-Indian) Kobe Chicken, Jerk Chicken, Spring Rolls (non traditional), Spinach salad with Pinapple Vinagrette, Grilled Tofu with Dijon Pepper sauce, Grilled Ahi with Wasabe sauce, Pork Loin Picatta, Pesto and Marinara Pastas, Tiger chicken skewers. I work in Utah and coordinated an event from there for Santa Clara that was flawless (at least as far as the food goes) they were easy to work with on the front end and the delivery folks were on time and professional and even better...the food is absolutely awesome. Not your boring salad & sandwich place. So many options and decent pricing as well. I was a little nervous that I didn't get a formal order confirmation...simply an email from the owner saying you got it! However they totally came through and the local office in Santa Clara told me they use Entrees Unlimited all the time and they always come through flawlessly. Again, great food, great service, nice presentation & chafing dishes....they even came back later in the afternoon and picked everything up, took leftovers away (although there hardly were any because everything was so great) didn't even have to clean up!!! How awesome. Can't wait to try more things on their menu next time we have a meeting there. Contrary to one of the other comments I read.....they are VERY accomodating. They even helped me build the menu and think of things like salads and snacks and stuff we could munch on all day which was so helpful. Since we were having a private event in our home(April-2009) for 50 peope, we decided to try them out and save us time from all the details, since there were enough things we needed to focus on. As an Event Coordinator planning out my first big brunch event in the South Bay area, I was calling a handful of catering companies based on my research on Yelp and going through the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce Roster. Honestly, nothing could compare to the service offered by Entrees Unlimited and the owner, Peter Carlino. He answered all my questions and actually worked with me versus just taking an order and dropping off the food which was the vibe I was getting from other places I was calling. The communication between Peter and his team is quick. You'll usually get a response right away or within that same day. He knew that we were on a tight budget since we are a non-profit. Peter really listened to us and worked with our budget to feed 180 people. He made recommendations that we ended up implementing in our plans. I really appreciate him going the extra mile by coming to our Hall the week of to see where the best placement for catering will be and even letting us do a taste test. Let me tell you, that breakfast food was DE-LI-CIOUS. Nothing but the best on the day of our event. The service was A+. All of our guests had nothing but positive remarks on the food. More than enough was made for guests to get seconds and we also had a bunch of leftovers. Peter's team was amazing. They made things easy for us.
