Wonderful Food and Service. The Lingenberry crepe is incredible. There was 6 of us and we ALL loved our food. WE 100% recommend. The food is AMAZING.

Large and heavy breakfast--stuffed hash--was more meat and egg then hash...but good

Solid breakfast restaurant--typical American breakfast fare made fast at a reasonable price. The German pancake was awesome--like an eggy but thin enormous pancake. I asked our waitress which German pancake she prefers, which was the Lingonberry jam one, and she was spot on correct. I'd recommend to eat these by cutting them into small pizza slices, add a bit of that jam on top, and then rolling them up. Awesome treat. Service was great--efficient and friendly. Though this place gets crowded on weekends, we were easily able to get a table. Great family establishment!

I was very impressed by the many choices in the menu. When our food arrived it looked so yummy I couldn't wait to start my meal. The service was excellent. Professional, friendly and fast. We loved the ambiance. Lots of booth seating, as well as table seating. After going to so many restaurants that are so loud we really enjoyed sitting down to a nice meal in a quiet environment. We will definitely be returning.

I can always count on Elmers to eat breakfast for lunch. My potato pancakes were perfectly cooked- crunchy on the outside. Letty really liked her patty melt, she enjoyed stretching the cheese like crazy. And Rudy liked his chicken fried steak. We were all happy with the service.

Yukon French Toast with a side of eggs & bacon. Plus a Belgian waffle!

We are so Thankful for Elmer's being open Thanksgiving morning for us to enjoy a great breakfast! Rebecca was a wonderful waitress and the hostess's were sweet and friendly as well. The restaurant was warm and cozy. It was a nice experience all the way around!

    Heaven!

Food was decent, but not nearly for the price. My salad was 17.99 and my boyfriend's eggs Benedict was 18.99. Ridiculous prices for a diner.

We sat down fast and ordered pretty quickly. I ordered a pesto bacon and egg biscuit sandwich it was 10/10. I actually used the raspberry jam my mom got with hers and mixed it with the biscuit which made me end up buying the jam to go. Fresh homemade jam for $8 what a steal!! I fell in love with this restaurant, it's too bad I don't live in Medford or I'd be a frequent customer.

It is a small, intimate space where we were greeted with a big smile by the hostess and our waiter came by soon after we were seated. It was a chilly walk around the corner so I was looking for a hot coffee to warm me up. Having never been here before I opted for the special of the day, which was something with lavender in it, and I was surprised at the delicate way the latte both supported the robust coffee flavor and the delicate lavender addition. It was better than I anticipated and I knew that we had stumbled upon a gem of a spot that emphasized quality of what they serve. Now, for breakfast, I love a good gravy but I am always disappointed by my order. The country gravy is usually too thin, to bland, too chunky with some sort of meat product, and too small of quantity to really enjoy a good biscuit with it. With this skepticism in mind, I ordered the "The Works" assuming at the very least, the addition of fried eggs and ham were good enough to eat on its own when the gravy, which I also assume will disappoint me, runs dry. I apologize for my assumptions, ButterCloud Bakery, because I was served a thick, seasoned, peppery gravy and plenty of it. This is actually the best gravy I have ever ordered from a restaurant, if I was not traveling, I might have bought a few sides of this delicious concoction and brought it home for the next several mornings! Nothing skimpy on my plate. My husband ordered the beef and blue and devoured every last bite. I managed to steal a few bites off his plate and was pleasantly surprised, I did not expect to like it as much as I did. I stole a few more bites when he was in the bathroom! We left very satisfied with our meal, our drinks, and our service. Fast forward a few months later and we are traveling with my parents to California and we insisted that we stopped by ButterCloud Bakery to share our gem of a find. My mom considers herself quite the cook and she also was skeptical of the gravy. One bite and her eyes popped...she was also impressed. This time round I had the scone and gravy and enjoyed every last bite. My mom tried a specialty hot chocolate and I, again, had the latte special of the day, both were rich with flavor. Our second round at ButterCloud Bakery did not disappoint and we have decided it will be our go-to spot when we are in the area, there is still a lot of menu items to try!

I usually order the chilaquiles, and they are hands down the best around. The chips are perfectly coated in sauce without getting soggy, and the flavor is bold, rich, and comforting. Even though I stick to my favorite, everything else I've tried has been just as impressive. The quality is consistent, the portions are generous, and you can taste the care in every dish. This place just reeks of honest intention and care. It's not worth reviewing particular dishes because you can't go wrong--just remember this is basic straightforward food, whether you go with Mexican or North American breakfasts. Nothing will blow you away, bit nothing is bad either. What is a signature feature here is how many different Mexican options there are--this isn't a "let's throw huevos rancheros on and check the box." I got nothing but respect for them here. Do be prepared to wait a touch for your food--it's that care thing. Oh, if you're a senior, they have some specials, along with an "early riser" menu.
