wet burrito ... must have crack in it cause its addicting
    Libby V.

Two words...wet burrito. These are so damn addicting I suspect they have crack in them. My son didn't believe me, so I showed him today. I get the shredded beef with a side of sour cream. Next time I need to remember to ask for extra sour cream...this little paper cup does not quite cut it. Don't worry if you don't want shredded beef...they have chicken, pork and ground beef as well. I get the Mini Wet Burrito cause I can't eat the regular portion it's so big. I doubt anyone could. Staff is always helpful...they even made a virgin margarita for the little one. Even had whipped cream and a cherry. Of course there's a bar, and they're famous for their Bad Juans. It's very strong. You can even get a shirt that say's "I got a BJ at Elsa's." I didn't buy one, but I could have. So if you're craving good Mexican you want to come here. It's so worth it. If you're into mediocre Mexican, drive thru the Border. But no Bad Juans for you. Just sayin.

    Disgusting, burnt beef
    Jarvis W.

DISGUSTING!!!!! This used to be one of my favorite places for TexMex but I will not be returning after tonight. I ordered a burrito which was served to me with a long, dried string of burnt beef hanging from the front of the burrito and dangling off of the plate. The rest of the beef (inside the burrito) was burnt to the point of being charred - and it was dry and rubbery. It was not edible and frankly I would not have fed this to a New York City subway rat! My dining companion ordered chicken fajitas which featured a generous helping of brown guacamole which looked like a pile of cat vomit. I asked the manager if he would eat such food. He replied "um, no." I asked then why such disgusting food was allowed to be plated, sent from the kitchen and served to a customer. "I dunno" was his reply. We left the restaurant immediately and ate elsewhere. (It also took a really long time for this disgusting food to be served...) DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!

They have a great selection of food on the menu, so was just right for our group. I enjoyed the buffalo chicken wrap with blue cheese dressing and loaded mashed potatoes, others in our group enjoyed wings, soup & salad, salmon sandwich and chicken quesadillas. Our food was served hot from the oven & was so good. Great service, and our waitress filled our soda, tea & water several times. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

The restaurant is located in a strip mall area off of Stroop road. It's near the Vapor Haus vape shop and the Speedway gas station that sits at the corner of Stroop and Marshall Rd. If you pass that Speedway, you've gone too far. Inside, the restaurant has a typical sports bar vibe. It's well lit, clean but nothing spectacular. The menu does offer a variety of choices. Service is really good. We were seated fast and orders were taken shortly afterwards. I got the fish and chips. The deep fried fish was good but average in my opinion. The fries were tasty. It satisfied my hunger but it was just average to me. My girlfriend got the chili bowl with jalapeño cornbread. She liked it but again felt it was average fare. The portions are pretty big but bigger doesn't necessarily mean it's better. I will probably try again but I think the burgers are a better option than the fish and chips. There was a decent sized crowd here, so TJ Chumps is doing something right. I'd like to try some of their other menu choices. I recommend. The service is good and the wait crew enthusiastic.

We met our kids in Dayton, which is about a halfway point for us each, for lunch this Saturday. We'd been wanting a good burger so I started looking for options and when I saw this place it was a no brainer. Slyders did not disappoint! The burgers are done on a flat top that's probably been in their kitchen since they opened in 1948. Talk about flavor!! The burger is good quality, tender, and full of great beef flavor, cranked out on that flat top to a crispy brown exterior. Great fresh tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles and cheese make this burger oh so good!! Add a basket of perfectly fried HUGE onion rings and a cold beer, there's nothing better!! Top top it off the service was incredible. We had 3 or 4 guys stopping by checking on drinks, napkins, ect... The energy in this bar was comfortable and you felt like you were a "regular" even if you'd never stepped in the door before in your life. With big bear hugs and handshakes we left full of great food and a warm soul. Slyders is going on my "ride for a burger" list this summer on the bikes. It'll be well worth 2hr ride to get there!! .

Jukebox music, normal conversation din, plus the happy drunk at the bar shouting his words. The food was above average. The "medium-well" burger contained quality meat but was dry. Next time I would add cheese. Burger toppings were fresh - lettuce, onion, pickles. The fries were good but not great. Overall four stars.
