Stopped in here for a lunch and was thrilled that I did. The Hot Italian Sub was delicious - and, so reasonably priced! My husband had the Hot Swine pizza and really enjoyed it. Both of our meals were delightfully flavorful and served quickly and hot. The place went under new ownership in March and the new owners have made some great improvements, while still keeping the history and charm of its past. You will now find an updated food menu, a great selection of liquor and wine, fountain pop/soda, and a great patio to enjoy on a nice summer day. Those changes pair nicely with the "home of the 40." Where else can you grab a 40 of beer, a koozie to put it in, and relax on a patio with friends and a pizza? If you haven't been there (or been there in awhile), be sure to check it out soon.

Great option for a casual spot to watch football games and eat some pizza! Bartenders recommended the Hot Swine pizza, which was very helpful. The Mac and cheese bites were also good. There is also plenty of merch available, as well as a wide selection of beer and liquors. This place feels nostalgic, with all the vintage touches (including the turntable style beer racks behind the bar.) Will definitely stop by again.

I've only been to Kramers a couple of times over the past few years, and thought I would give it another try after hearing about new ownership. The pizza was very good (love the crust -- tastes like a pretzel dough) and they have added to the drink selection from what I remember before. Bourbon and beer on draft! The place overall is clean and has a more welcoming feel and has an awesome outdoor seating area. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.

I visited Kramer's under somewhat unusual circumstances... a large group of Chaminade alumni converged on the place and essentially ran the 'regular' crowd out with their raucous ramblings and alcohol-fueled reminiscence. And I was tagging along with that group. We were a little late to the party and when we were heading in, a group of 20-somethings were heading out and I heard a, "what is happening in there" snatch of their conversation. The last group held out a bit longer, in the picnic table side-room, but ultimately they succumbed to the takeover as well. Like everyone else has said, they have 40-oz beers and lots of them. That's because Kramer's is the largest distributor of 40's in the region. And as a subsequent result, they have quite a few varieties to choose from. I may never know what this place is like on a 'normal' night, but I will say it's definitely one of the most well illuminated bars I've been in recently, they have a legit cigarette machine in the corner, and a phone booth to boot. Cool stuff. Pizza also looked pretty tasty - and what better compliment to beer is there?

Amazing pizza and a very casual, fun place to hang out. I come here once a week. Great hangout in the Oakwood/UD area.

Definitely a dive bar with zero ambiance. But my Italian sandwich, the hot curds and husband's mushroom Swiss burger were all terrific!!

The pub fits right into the neighborhood's character -- lively, full of personality, and steeped in history. Inside, the atmosphere is pure rock 'n roll: casual, energetic, and welcoming. I tried their famed pickle soup, which was cream‑based and reminded me of broccoli and cream soup, with just a subtle pickle flavor that wasn't overpowering. It was okay, but the real standout was the IPA collaboration with Toxic Brewing, a neighboring brewery -- crisp, flavorful, and very good. Nicole had a burger and enjoyed it alongside two of those same Toxic Brewing IPAs (I don't recall the name, but they were excellent). Our host was friendly, service was quick, and judging by the tables around us, everyone else seemed to be enjoying their grub too. A colleague from work joined us and generously picked up the tab, which made the visit even more memorable. Blind Bob's is a fun stop in the Oregon District -- great local beer, unique menu items, and a rock 'n roll vibe that matches the historic setting.

We met our kids in Dayton, which is about a halfway point for us each, for lunch this Saturday. We'd been wanting a good burger so I started looking for options and when I saw this place it was a no brainer. Slyders did not disappoint! The burgers are done on a flat top that's probably been in their kitchen since they opened in 1948. Talk about flavor!! The burger is good quality, tender, and full of great beef flavor, cranked out on that flat top to a crispy brown exterior. Great fresh tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles and cheese make this burger oh so good!! Add a basket of perfectly fried HUGE onion rings and a cold beer, there's nothing better!! Top top it off the service was incredible. We had 3 or 4 guys stopping by checking on drinks, napkins, ect... The energy in this bar was comfortable and you felt like you were a "regular" even if you'd never stepped in the door before in your life. With big bear hugs and handshakes we left full of great food and a warm soul. Slyders is going on my "ride for a burger" list this summer on the bikes. It'll be well worth 2hr ride to get there!! .

Our server, TAYLOR was the best. So friendly, patient, accommodating, and fun. She made our meal experience. The selection of beers is impressive, and Taylor helped my decision with giving me samples of beers. I went with the Imperial Head Hunter and was happy as can be with this IPA, The food? Incredible. We started with mozzarella sticks and faux chicken tenders as appetizers. Both were great. The mango habanero sauce is more sweet than spicy. But both the cheese and chicken tenders were wonderful. Our appetizer +, was the tequila vegan chili. We don't find veggie chili very often, but this was prepared with veggie chili, beans and soyrizo. It was wonderful. My wife chose the jackfruit Reuben sandwich. Those of us that are vegetarian, miss favorites like Reuben sandwiches. This jackfruit Reuben met the challenge. Delicious and plentiful. I had the Fierro burger with an impossible patty. Definitely not as spicy as I wanted, but delicious nonetheless. Lucky's was a fun place either way, great food, cold beer, lots of vegan options, and a friendly staff. Go there!

The restaurant itself is a bit of a hole in the wall. Nothing fancy but they have a lot of interesting and yummy sounding dishes, with many vegetarian and vegan options.
