We decided to try this place for my sons birthday. We were not 100% sure where it was and if it was a restaurant or a pick up place. We had a larger group and I tried to call to see if reservations were needed. I was unable to reach anyone. We were happily surprised it is a sit down restaurant ( some of the yelp pics are deceiving) We came on a Sunday and were seated within 5 minutes. Loved this place. I've been searching for some good menudo and they came through. It was delicious. No hominy but good flavors. The eggs benny was also very good the sauce amazing. Large order of enchiladas also. The service was outstanding and we will be back. So many menu choices to choose from mad they all peeled food. Soooo...finally I got to try you guys out You guys now moved to the westside of Las Vegas. Don't know who came first Casa de Desayuno or Elys??? I'm sure it's easy to find out but I am too stuffed...lol. Anyways yes I've heard of this restaurant but it a bit too far and today I discovered you guys just opened in October. First sight yes very nice clean and busy. Very large restaurant with Bar(I'll come back to the bar) and outside sitting. Anyways sat down and man this menu looks epic Mexican American breakfast restaurant. Soooooo much to see and I want to try it all. But I only got one stomach. So the battle of menudo and casa wins by K.O Unfortunately it looked a bit overcooked maybe that's the way it's supposed to be Anyways taste a bit chewy and taste a bit lacking. But I fixed it with side ingredients and condiments that little bastard chili oil it was good caution!!!...lol Ok second course chilaquiles bowl topped with carne asada...delicious that green sauce awesome and love the tangy side of it. I'll go for the Ribey next time and to top off a breakfast meal some sweet stuff...I was half and half on it... Abuelita chocolate pancakes. My opinion needs more chocolate ..maybe put some Hershey kisses bits hey Mexican American I'm i correct the pancake seemed a bit lacking in Abuelita taste also some lechera and dusted with Abuelita chocolate on top would have a homerun my opinion. Now service was excellent mostly by Belen and multiple other servers...my cafe de olla was never empty. I went to Ely's this morning for my sister's birthday breakfast. This place was beautiful inside and the have an adorable patio area. The food was absolutely incredible! They have this Mexican coffee... WOW! I had never tasted anything like this coffee before. The service was quick and everyone was attentive to our needs. You have to try the coconut waffle pancakes. I was excited to try the new location, but I was disappointed in the quality of the food. The restaurant was nearly empty and the food was not fresh. Food was also missing some flavor. Sadly, the food tasted like it had been cooked hours ago. Great location and ambience, but the customer service we received was just ok, lack of attention to detail and pride. Incredible! The food is always delicious, cooked to perfection. My favorite is the chilaquiles with the steak. I always order green. The restaurant is very beautiful and the staff is super friendly. We came for breakfast yesterday. For a Sunday at 10am it was busy but not overwhelming. We have never been to any of the locations they have and decided to try a new place. We order the chicken fried steak skillet, the eggs in green salsa, green chilaquiles asada bowl, cinnamon roll pancakes and the gansito pancakes. The menu is large but selection is good. Sadly the food did not standout at all. The pancakes had a very doughy almost yeasty flavor and they were very chewy. The flavor was somewhat there but the pancakes felt over mixed and it made for a tough pancake. The gansito pancake was blank with some dry pieces of gansito thrown in there, cinnamon rolls pancakes were a little better but like I mentioned very tough. The chilaquiles were ok, flavor of the salsa was tasty and spicy but nothing special, the asada had a good flavor. The eggs in green salsa had a very sour salsa and the cheese was not good at all. The rice and beans were bland. The chicken fried steak skillet was definitely a never order again. It lacked flavor and the potatoes were dry. There are many other places that have similar food but much more flavorful. The service was possibly 3/5 stars, they brought food out and that was about it. They don't check on us or ask us anything until we asked for the bill. Great to try maybe once more but definitely not on the list of places to go. read more

Extremely disappointed. I have eaten at the Tropicana location and was impressed with the food, service and ambient of that location. The location on Sahara is way closer to me but the food, service and ambient leave a lot to be desired. This location definitely doesn't share the charmed and atmosphere of the Tropicana location. I've visited this place many times and usually have a great experience, the food is amazing and the service is typically decent. However, my most recent visit with my family was disappointing. After being seated around 12:15, we weren't asked for drinks until 1:00, while other tables were already being served whom arrived after us. The waitress who seated us only sat us down, left, and never came back. Multiple servers approached us, and the first was rude when we explained no one had helped us, not a single sorry at all. He raised his voice and attitude towards one of my family members. Overall, the service was poor, and I'm disappointed with how my family and I were treated. read more
