So my wife drove us over to Jamms. Small strip mall vibes from the outside. Inside the diner kitsch was cool. Our server Juan deserves a shout out from his supervisor. Juan was awesome,along with the several other servers that assisted us. They always came by and checked on us but never really interrupted us. Just spot on. Now to the food. I ordered the chicken tenders. No fries included, had to order those separate. 4 lonely chicken tenders sitting on a huge bed of lettuce with a large bowl of Buffalo sauce on the side. The fries were served in a cute wire basket on a small plate with a side of ranch. The tenders and fries were good. Tasted my wife's potato thing,not bad. I want to come back and try more. It's further west of the strip, but the further you go, the more local it feels. Jamms is a great example. No neon lights. Just great local food, service and vibe. We went with a mix of sweet and savory dishes, and they started us off with a pot of bread (apricot and raisin). It was so good....especially with the icing. Honestly, I could've just kept eating that. The birthday girl ordered the Irish skillet with over-medium eggs, and it was packed with flavor... really good corned beef hash. The little one got the stuffed French toast... that one fell a little short. It didn't have much cream cheese filling, but she made it a combo with bacon and scrambled eggs, which helped balance it out. Grandma ordered the Chicken BLT green waffles and that plate was stacked high, super flavorful and definitely a hit. I kept it classic with a side of chicken fried steak and gravy, and it was moist, tender, and just really well done. I had been here years ago when I lived closer, and when a friend asked where we could go for breakfast, this place instantly came to mind. It's in a strip mall near Home Depot and has been renovated very nicely from past years. It's a homey place with friendly staff and overall good service. But I was really dissapointed in the food this time. The corned beef hash I had was simply awful. The eggs were cold and had clearly been sitting for a while. The potato casserole thing was hardened. The only decent thing was the "pot-o-bread" which is their signature thing. It's hard to screw up breakfast, but this place did it. I can't recommend it, and I wanted to so badly! Hands down THE BEST! I'm from out of town and fsmily brought me to Jamm's for breakfast. Atmosphere was bright and classic in a 50s diner kind of way. The food was delicious. Got a denver omlet (which was true to tradition) and fresh fruit (which was all prefectly ripe). The Pot of Bread was a new expierence and all four flavors they had were sooo good. I couldn't get enough. But the stand out of my expierence was Juan. Hands down the best service I've ever had IN MY LIFE. He was friendly, on point with our order. When the food came someone in our party was away from the table and without asking or hesitation he took the plate and put it back under the warmer. As soon as he saw her return, he brought the plate back. Never in my life have I seen a waiter as awesome as Juan. Food is decent. I've called in orders multiple times that were not ready in the time frame indicated to me. I called an order in at 9 AM, was told it would be 5-10 minutes, got there at 9:12 and didn't get my food until 9:35. (I was at work). I was also given a different total over the phone than initially told in person (I am not talking about taxes). Overall the food and service are good they just are not time efficient and their prices never reflect the same through call, website, and in person. read more

This diner/restaurant is so cute with all it's tea cup decor. Remodeled about 4 years ago with a classy look and comfortable booths. We've been here many time so I can attest to their delicious breakfasts and amazing pot bread. Today we ordered lunch. I had the Reuben sandwich on marble rye and my hubby had their tuna sandwich on wheat. Everything was so good. They have great ranch dressing which I had on my side salad. The coffee was fresh and their iced tea was not watered down. Now the service...amazing! Sandy has been here for about 26 years and she knows her menu and, most importantly, how to treat her customers. Not once did we have to wave her down. Was looking for a place to have brunch and decided to check out Jamm's. The seating was quick during mid day and our servers were very quick and friendly. They are know to have bread in a pot as a choice for your side however, at the time I visited they were all out. So if you want to get lucky to try it come early. There is ample seating and the waiting area has a comfortable area to sit. The food was very delicious and comforting. Its only been around 11 years since last time we were in. :O Its just that its on the other side of town from where I live so the only way I would ever come here is if the die chose it and it did today! So my brother ordered steak and eggs--He said it was good but 1-2 pieces at the end were overcooked and he could not chew them. He didn't like the coffee which I believe is Illy brand. It was ok. I drank it... Anyways, I ordered egg whites and hashbrowns and these were perfectly cooked--I didn't even need Ketchup. We also got The Pot O Bread-Mixed Jelly and wow, Yum. The booths are tight so I have old injuries from a car accident that act up when its cold + I have metal implants, lol, sigh. and so its really cold out and I get nerve pain and such and so I said I have to sit in a certain way in the booth--like I can't sit straight up like a normal person because I know the pain and how to kind of adjust in my seat... and so I could not do that as the booths were tight--also bigger people may have issues--so choose a Table! Sandy was the waitress and she was a delight--checked in on us several times and was so kind and friendly. Amazing! We will be back but again, more likely when Instructed to do so by the die.... Met a friend living in Vegas for a Sunday brunch, and he brought us here. I did miss a breakfast cocktail, but the food is tasty. The special bread thing is really good.
