I went here on a Saturday evening to get dip powder on my natural nails and didn't even have to wait. Staff is super nice and I loved how my nails turned out.

EM nails did a fantastic job with my nails! I have previously had really bad experiences getting my nails done and was wary of trying again, but Chloe did an awesome job. The nails I got were just like what I had shown in my reference photo. Even though I was definitely being a little indecisive and annoying, Chloe was so patient with me and really gave me the sense that she wanted me to be happy with what I am paying for! I loved how she took her time without doing a rushed job even though it was so late. Anytime I wanted something to be fixed/modified, I didn't feel like I was irritating her and she was quick to see what I was trying to communicate. Although this set was a bit more expensive than what I've gotten previous times, it is well worth the quality and service. I am incredibly happy with my nails, will definitely be coming back.

Found this nail salon googling from my Waze app. Want to find a nail salon on my way to Dallas without going to far off I-35. I called them while I was about an hour out and they were very helpful with scheduling me an appointment for that day. Once I arrived I was kindly greeted. The salon had all different options from powder, gel, acrylic and so many colors to choose from! KN was very nice and made me feel comfortable in the new establishment offering a complimentary beverage. Q was attentive and ask how I wanted my nails and finished up my gel fill beautifully. The salon was very clean and they even book karaoke birthday mani and pedi parties. I would definitely recommend this salon if you are local or just passing through Waco! They even accept Apple Pay!! PS Q never rushed on my nails. He took his time and they came out just as I liked!

honestly don't listen to the bad reviews great place. very friendly and clean. price is a bit high but so worth it,i LOVED the way my nails came out. i also didn't have an appointment and took me in as soon as i walked in (they also weren't busy). this place never misses!

Every time I have gone I have gotten tips with dip and my nails have always lasted about a month! They do charge extra for shaping etc. but it's always worth it. I've seen a few reviews from people who did not like their shape, or were not happy with the results, but they do their best to communicate with you while you are getting your nails done, and if you speak up and do the same you will most definitely get the result you want, there's also a sign in their store saying "we want you to love the results if you're uncomfortable speaking up text this number" which is nice! The only problem I've had before is they get VERY busy (they're servicing basically all the baylor girls) so even if you made an appointment online, chances are they don't really care about that and they focus on first come first serve. Lovely place, I would recommend :)

Overpaid for a mani/pedi to begin with. The girl doing my nail (dip) said she was finished and i asked her if she could please cut the dry skin and get all the paint off my skin. It looked awful. She was ready to leave as it was 6:30 but they close at 7. Then that night the toe polish peeled off so I went in to have the toes repainted. The male owner the night before said they have a 10 day satisfaction policy (free repair if paint is defective). When the girl who did my nails was assigned to fix my toes, she sanded the black polish off and it splattered all over my white jeans. Then she rubbed it and smeared it. I asked for a partial refund and the female owner (i think) said "no refunds, go home and bleach your pants". I will never return here and will tell my local friends not to frequent this place either.

I came here last Tuesday to get my dip done for the first time since moving back near the area. I travel 30 minutes just to go here but their stuff has decreased in value. I had two nails break 5 days after having my nails dipped. Went back to get it fixed and the same nails broke again that night. I'm going out of town so I was hoping having my nails done would take away some stress for me but it only added to it. I don't recommend getting dip done here! Will sadly be looking for a new place to get my nails done at.

Great service! Friendly techs! Clean location! Big selection of high quality nail colors! I was in Waco for work and thought I'd get my nails done since I have some time to spare. Honestly, disappointed. We waited 30 min after they said 10 min wait. the man doing my friend's nails left her 5 times to tend to other customers' nail care. They were very rushed doing my nails so the outcome was disappointing. felt like I over paid for my experience and outcome. The tools they used weren't clean and my towel still had cuticles from the most recent customer all over it. I do feel bad because they only had about 7 workers to get to 20 clients. But I'd rather them have told me that they were too busy or be honest about the wait time, so that I could have saved time and money.

Had my bachelorette party in Waco. My six ladies and I were welcomed with wine and awesome massage chairs! The pedicures were amazing, the atmosphere was awesome. The nail techs were very skilled and hilarious! One of them cheered with us with his alcohol bottle! At the end of it, we were all very happy and relaxed and ready to go play party games. Thank y'all so much!

I'm just sad. I have been here a while ago and don't remember any bad past experiences so I decided to try again after not wanting to travel the extra 15 mins to my normal salon. I didn't see the prices listed anywhere to begin with. I picked out my color but once she put it on it looked nothing like the one on the color list, I think those colors need to be repainted after sitting out because the color I chose looked like a soft nude and mine came out light peach/pink. Whatever, that's not necessarily their fault. I then asked her if she could trim my cuticles, she continued to make each of them bleed :( i also asked her to round the edges but to not make my nails shorter and I walked out with tiny nails. All on top of that I looked at my nails this morning to see all the dip has cracked. I haven't even done anything and my nails look like this. Im just really disappointed and I hate writing bad reviews but there's so many places that can do better for $45.

so dirty. words can't describe how dirty it is. and the guy doing my nails was sick and it was absolutely horrible. worst experience I've ever had at a salon.

Honestly really bad experience - I came in got my nails done they were filed uneven and the nail tech who is the manager was being rough and rude and rushing for no reason and I was nothing but respectful and patient. 2 of them popped off the next morning so I went in and got them fixed and not even 2 days later they came off again. And they want me to use the warranty on already partially grown out nail? And for it be uneven and look weird? They Refused to give even a partial refund and i literally paid in cash $70 for my nails to just come off less than a week later. I know they're going to respond to this and refute this claim or make excuses - but there's no explanation for being rude, rushing, and inconsiderate to my time and money - I am a college student and wanted to treat myself to getting my nails done now that won't even last a whole week...the least they could do is give me a partial refund because I don't have money to waste on this bad service. Not only that they glue the nails on my skin and completely ruined the sides of my nail beds. read more

I stopped in while I was in town visiting family. The interior of the salon was ok, what surprised me were the prices. $35 for a 20 - 25 minute pedicure. I get pedicures regularly in my area on the North side of Houston and I'm used to paying around that for a 45 minute pedi and they serve wine. They did not serve any type of beverage and the massage chairs were ok. The pedicurist did give a good massage and the actual polish looked good. I don't know that I recommend this salon but the staff was friendly. read more

EM nails did a fantastic job with my nails! I have previously had really bad experiences getting my nails done and was wary of trying again, but Chloe did an awesome job. Only come here if you want to have to have chipped nails the same day you got them done. The staff here were nice but the nail service itself was horrendous. My gel nails began to chip that same day when I got home. I went in the next day to get them redone and they just filed some of the ones that were chipping at the top. Again, the next day some of the other nails began to chip on the sides after I had just got them "fixed." I called asking them to redo them again and they said they were gonna have to charge me 3 DAYS after getting them done. I have never gone to a place where my nails have started to chip within the same day of getting them done. On top of this all, they were very careless when it came to redoing them, I do not recommend this place at all. read more

We stopped here while in town for a business trip. I wish I would have scrolled down deeper in the reviews. I felt it was seriously overpriced for the experience. None of the tools were sanitized, he completely skipped cleaning up the cuticles, lotion or any hand massage. My dip is very very thin by the cuticle. He filed so hard that my mail bed bled. My co workers hands are two completely different lengths. Followed by the pedicure. Not entirely bad but rushed for the cost. Not sure a mani pedi completed in 30 minutes was worth $100. read more

Everyone there was very kind and welcoming. However, I would absolutely not go back. I called ahead and asked if they accepted walk ins and if they were busy. They said no. I showed up and waited for 45 minutes. I showed her a photo of what I wanted the tip to look like. I wanted dip, and I have gotten dip with a colored tip before. I knew as soon as she pulled out the blue that she didn't know what she was doing. An hour 1/2 later she admitted that it wasn't working. My nails looked ATROCIOUS. Instead of redoing them or giving me a huge discount, she put gel over my NUMEROUS layers of dip. My nails look so sloppy. They're thick, the color on the tips is an absolute mess, and she only gave me $5 off. Also, the gel on top of the dip made the dip bubble, so my nails look awful. I could have done better myself at home. She even told me that she knew they looked bad, and apologized. I was expecting her to offer to fix them, give me a WAY larger discount, or a gift card, but she just gave me $5 off, still leaving me paying $45 plus tip. I really hope they get it together, because I really did think they were nice people. *****UPDATE I went back and they agreed to remove my nails and refunded my money, but sent me out with dip residue all over my hands and nails, and my nails were jagged and uneven. They also had me soak my nails for 45 minutes. It should have taken 5 minutes. read more

Terrible nail salon do not waste your time... The receptionist is RUDE and he talks about customers to other customers! He even said "Everyone wants to be treated like they're special but you're not." The rest of the staff has terrible attitudes. I had dip put on my nails, they cracked after 2 days. I went back the lady was rude and told me to find my own color if I want then fixed because it wasn't her job to look. She fixed them with an attitude, they cracked again 3 days later. Don't waste your time, pay the extra $10 to go to Posh... ***I was not able to "take a picture of the color" as suggested because my original nail tech said he doesn't use the brand I picked because it's cheap and see through... read more

The best experience! Nails, brows, lashes, and toes! I am always using my phone and while I was getting my nails done they had to be foiled and they even brought me A small phone pen so I can still use my phone! The pedicure was so unique with a special jelly material read more

I went in yesterday afternoon for a basic manicure. Within an hour of leaving the salon, the colored polish under the clear coat began to crinkle and lift. By the next morning, the polish on my ring finger has partially torn off. I was planning to have professional engagement photos taken today (the reason I got the manicure in the first place), but will have to reschedule until I go to another salon to fix my nails. read more

I had such an amazing experience at this salon. The owner and her employees are so kind! She took her time on my nails and catered to all of my requests. Their quality of work was fantastic and they turned out just how I like them. Coming from a different state, I was worried I wouldn't find a place that I liked, but I will definitely be returning! The salon is clean and they play calming music that makes the experience more relaxing. I highly recommend this salon!! read more

The best pedicure I've ever had. Everyone is really friendly. The massage chairs are comfortable and the remotes actually work :) my pedicure is almost over and I don't want it to end. This will definitely be my new go to place also- my toes came out cute and my feet feel so much better read more

I was looking for a nice,clean place to get my nails done and I definitely found it! They were so nice and welcoming and they had so many colors to choose from! Kim was my nail technician and she did an AMAZING job. She was so sweet and paid attention to detail! My nails turned out just like the picture I showed her. Can't wait to go back! Me and my boyfriend went in, he got his toes done and i got my nails done. he had a little trouble with the lady, thinking she was in a bit of a rush. my lady however on my nails, did awesome. highly recommend. i have short mail beds and i chew my nails, and out of many places in waco, the lady i had did awesome on shape and skill. on my end, 10/10! read more

One of the worst nail salons I have visited. I was shown a price sheet when we walked in. We told exactly what we wanted. After we had started they kept adding costs to remove polish, shaping of nails, etc. wouldn't have been so bad but for the simple mail stripes desired and shown from a photo looked awful and had to be removed and the polish applied in both manicures and pedicures failed to cover entire nail and nails had rough edges. Very disappointing place read more

I have been here numerous times and i've always left feeling slightly unsatisfied. They seem to rush through the service and not care for details. In my opinion it's just overpriced for what you get. I paid $90 for a 15 minute normal polish pedicure and a gel manicure. If you're gonna rush through it, at least make it cheaper. read more

(For example: I'll "joke" about having my platysmal bands removed, and it becomes clear the person has no idea that platysmotomies are even a thing. Yeah. I just have them Botox my crows feet and be on my way.) I quickly got the feeling that Dr. Smith both knows a LOT about facial structure and has some aesthetic sense, so I was willing to go for something a little more involved than I'd normally be: 7 syringes of Bellafill in temples and under eye. Despite popping Arnicas for 2 days prior, I swelled up unrecognizable after the 2nd treatment (3 syringes). The 4 photos left to right are: before, immediately after, 36 hours after, and 6 days after. So obviously if you get a few syringes of filler, maybe don't schedule an appearance that week, and don't freak out if you swell up like I did. (From what I can gather, I'm in a minority of people who swell up this badly.) Dr. Smith knows that he's doing and I'll definitely be returning next time I'm in Waco.

After checking in at my second appointment, I went back up to the front desk because I had a simple question about a product that I purchased during my first appointment. As I started to speak, she cut me off saying that I needed to have a seat and that Sam was going to be with me shortly. Before I could even say another word, she turned and walked away from me. I didn't say anything during my appointment because I wasn't going to let someone who was clearly having a bad day ruin mine, but I thought it would be important for the salon owners to know how she is treating clients. I will be returning to see Sam, and hopefully the other woman is having a better day when I return.

In September 2025, the cost for having my lashes done went from $59 to $75. Pretty extreme if you ask me. I voiced my concerns to the owner. Her response was that they are now offering their own line and have more options for their clients. Nothing whatsoever is different about the lashes I am getting, so why the increase? In addition to increasing my charge - no one bothered to let me know ahead of time. I found out when I was checking out. Seriously bad customer service. Then, less than 4 months later they increased the cost AGAIN. Mariah called me the night before my next appointment to let me know because she knew I was very upset with the last increase and not being informed ahead of time. She's a sweetheart and really cares about her clients. Once again, I spoke with the owner about the increase. She told me that Mariah's level was raised so they were compensating her for that increase. Mariah deserved the promotion!!! However I further questioned the owner and expressed my displeasure with the increases. I informed her (since she didn't know and apparently didn't care), that their pricing had increased 44% in just 4 months. I told her that she was making decisions that would obviously impact customers negatively and had she given that any thought. Again, she didn't appear to care. Now, today I open the receipt for my service yesterday.... They charged me for some hairspray and my lashes and I included the tip. Once again to my surprise, a new fee had been added with no notice. I can't even believe they have the audacity to charge it - a "CONVENIENCE TIP FEE" of approximately 5.5% if you put the tip on your credit card. I immediately called and spoke with Layla asking her what the heck was that fee. She told me that they have a new system for checking out and it automatically charges that fee if you tip on a credit card. She did offer that I could avoid that by tipping in cash. My response - YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!' let me get this straight, your new system charges me in order to pay for the new system? She then asked if I'd like to speak with the owner. I told her no because she continues to charge her customers for anything she chooses without any regard for or any communication to the customers and couldn't care less. I will be submitting this review anywhere and everywhere I can over the next couple of days. It's a shame that she doesn't care that Mariah has now lost another client due to her poor management and business ethics. Done and done

Update 6/25/2019: They are so accommodating when it comes to trying new ideas and color combos! Show a picture of what you want, and theyll do their best to make it happen! Their dip powders are so vibrant, and their new technique for blending strong and otherwise clashing colors turns out so well! Chloe's free hand nail art is on point, and so so cute! She does a wonderful job everytime I come in! Update 6/10/2019: I am in love with their special colors!! They can put any gel on top of the dip, so your nail can stay healthy with the low-chemical dip powder! This is one of their 25 or so cat eye colors! I love it, as it matches my hair color almost perfectly, plus it's a subtle sparkle that's not over-the-top. I like subtle designs! So the little pop of silver is all the glam I need!! Absolutely wonderful job, every time! Update 5/23/2019: Absolutely gorgeous nail color!! Sahara eye has surprised me with its depth and shifting colors. Each way different lights hit the powder revealed a new color! Dark green in shadow, teal in bright daylight, royal blue in florescent light, and dark purple in sunset light! I also went with a more sustainable nail shape for computer typing, lol! 5/15/2019: Everyone in the shop was so friendly! Even when I couldn't decide on the colors I wanted, they helped me find things I'd like and toe polish to match. Honestly, that was the hardest part of all of it!! The pedicure was great, she got rid of my callouses and didn't shorten the massage at all. Plus! She definitely wasn't wimpy about the foot rub! It felt great, and they have different sets of mud and lotions to customize the pedicure. I got the vitamin one, but they also had chocolate, jasmine, and a honey sea salt! The interior is bright and elegant, the massage chairs were plush and comfy. And to top it off, my nails are amazing!! Its my first time getting fake nails, so I was a little hesitant, but they walked me through every step, and I couldn't be more in love! I got the dip nails, which are healthier for your nail, if removed properly. My colors were metallic blue and green with a base coat of black. FAIR WARNING: dip nails can take up a lot of time, as it requires many layers to build up that rich color, and the metallics take time to press onto the nail, as they are little flakes that must be rubbed on, so plan accordingly! I will definitely say to make an appointment or plan to spend 2-3 hours here for both mani+pedi, as they take their time to do things right! read more

They are not only incredibly friendly but also genuinely considerate of your time, making sure that your appointment is efficient without ever feeling rushed. Just visited the Magnolia Market in the morning and found this place nearby. I had a classic pedicure with Rubi. She was a sweetheart and I much much enjoyed her massage on my shin and feet. The salon has so many colors that I am impressed. There are large windows that sunlight can come in and make the space even bigger. The staff are smiling and being polite from check-in to check-out, they offer soda drinks and wine as complementary. I picked a moscato, then asked for a bottle of water and the staff was quick to serve without hesitation. I love their attitude. This place is newly open. Just moved to Waco to study at Baylor's in Spring 2019. Got referred by my roommate and decided to try EM Nails. This place is awesome, I've never found a similar place when I was in Houston. The goods - Numerous choices for color: lacque, gel, powder, chrome, cateye, mood changing - Brand new facilities: everything is new - Customer service: i like their smiling and caring serving attitude The bads - Ceiling: I want to like their interior, but the ceiling spoils it all - Low speed: it took more time to finish my manicure with mood changing color In general, I love the place and the people here. I've visited this nail salon five times now, and each time I've noticed unexpected charges added to my bill after the service was completed. There's no clear communication upfront about these extra costs, which is frustrating and feels a bit deceptive. The interior is decent and the staff are friendly, which I appreciate. However, the quality of the nail work isn't consistent. My nails have chipped far too quickly after each visit, sometimes within just a few days, which is disappointing given the price. I really wanted to love this place, but between the surprise charges and the short-lived results, I'll be looking elsewhere going forward. read more

The place is so beautifully designed and so many different colors and nails choices to choose from!!! They offer so many ideas rather than the basic nail color and design. This salon is obviously new and still trying to figure things out. However, the staff is very nice but I do think the prices are too high and I was charged additionally to shape my nails. It did take about twice the normal amount of time to do my nails then usual for a dip manicure. I was happy with the immediate results but my nails began to break off and peel away which has never happened to me with dip before. Overall I think this place is okay but definitely needs some work if they are going to charge the prices they are. read more

I had an amazing experience! I went in for a basic pedicure and the staff was so welcoming and nice. My nail tec was super thorough and detailed even though I had gotten the cheapest option!
