Unavailable hot tub we weren't notified about when booking or checking in.

Definitely a bit disappointed with the poor communication by front desk, the equipment malfunctions and the unsightly furniture.

My go to place to stay while in Amarillo. Rooms are clean and service is perfect. They offer valet parking as well. Location has a bar that offers two drinks before 6pm and a restaurant if you don't want to venture out after a long day on the road.

The Embassy Suites was a great hotel for us to stay in during our road trip vacation. This Embassy Suite was missing something that all I've seen at all other Embassy's where I stayed at...an Atrium. My wife loved this property as she commented that more Embassy Suites should like this one without an atrium. She hates other Embassy Suites because of the atrium. This property is located in Downtown Amarillo, away from I-40. Check in was easy. We were given a room on a higher floor. I don't know if we were upgraded or not. As a lowly gold member, I didn't expect any upgrades. The room was everything that reserved with a king bed, adequate work space and tables, and a sofa. Bathroom had a nice shower. Toiletries were from ZERO%. They have a nice gym with ellipticals, treadmills, and dumb bells. The equipment was clean. Sanitizing wipes were available for cleaning the machines. They also had a nice pool that I did not use. Breakfast is served downstairs in the morning. I like Embassy Suite's breakfast with their cooked to order eggs. The nice chef made me his special eggs with chorizo. They had a big selection of breakfast items. It was a nice hotel. I wish more Embassy Suite's were like this one no with atrium, so that I can stay with this brand. It had everything that both my wife and I wanted in a hotel.

First off a huge thank you to all of the Embassy Suites Amarillo staff. The front desk, bar staff, engineers, valet and restaurant staff were all beyond helpful and friendly. Any question we asked or assistance we needed was greeted with a smile and done right away. Decky in the restaurant area was so sweet and lovely to chat with. When you walk into the lobby it smells and looks very clean. Rooms are great as well. I was placed on the 5th floor which is the Premier floor. This apparently means you get a tray with an array of free snacks and beverages. Bed was super comfy. Also another reason Embassy Suites are my favorite is the complimentary evening happy hours and breakfast. I highly recommend staying here.

Great location. Clean, well appointed rooms and friendly staff. Only downside is the hotel's signature scent is so overpowering in some parts of the common areas that it will make you gag. Just need to turn it down. Other than that, an enjoyable, comfy stay.

Comfortable room, modern property. Complimentary Breakfast was good and they do a nice guest reception from 4 to 6 PM with limited offerings of complementary drinks. Check in was fairly easy, although they were training a new front desk employee and the line was moving fairly slow. While only six stories high, the footprint of the building is enormous; on appearance, Embassy can accommodate large groups and busy seasons. Heard from the locals th this is best hotel in the area. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

One of the top hotels in Amarillo. I've stayed here several times for business. Located downtown and walking distance to everything. This current stay was nice, came down for NYE. Looking forward to my next stay!

One of the biggest issues was the lack of consistent air conditioning throughout the building, which made common areas feel uncomfortable at times. I also found the terrace layout inconvenient since there are no stairs providing direct access, making it less practical than expected. Unfortunately, the room had a funky odor when I arrived that never completely went away during my stay. While the staff was courteous and the location was convenient, the overall experience didn't match the quality I expected. With some renovations and improved upkeep, this hotel could be a much better place to stay.

I am the single mom who brought her kids here to share the Mesquite room on October 9-10, 2022. This bed and breakfast is located in a somewhat remote area of Amarillo, Texas. The surrounding landscape is a bit reminiscent of Palo Duro Canyon - which is just a short drive away - but not in an extreme way that the Lone Star state park yields. The view from the hot tub at 7:30PM was amazing with a glorious display of sunset colors. Robes were provided behind the bathroom door. Near the pond on the old red, white, and blue amusement park ride chair, we found a walking stick. A friendly orange Tabby cat kept returning to our front door. My 8 and 9-year-old couldn't resist petting the stray feline. We weren't crazy about the continental breakfast which comprised of a cherry turnover, Yoplait yogurt, and Tropicana apple juice so we'll pass on that if we don't stay on a morning when they offer a hot meal. Just a couple of other cons: I leave to pick up pizza in town and someone takes my spot in front of our door. Lol. Also, my stupid Sprint/T-mobile coverage was terrible here. The other accomodations definitely overrode the somewhat lacking Monday morning breakfast: quiet neighborhood, calm weather, microwave, mini fridge, iron & board, lots of programs on the TV, free Wi-Fi, walk-in shower, and private gated area with code access.

We stayed in the Pinion. The positives. It's remote and really close to Palo Duro Canyon (18 minutes) That was nice. It's about 12 minutes from the Big Texan. It's in a pretty setting. The bed was comfy. We stay at B&B's because there is a level of expectation where hospitality takes over and you feel like you were being treated like royalty. This is not that place. It almost felt like our stay was a little bit of an inconvenience. The room is small and very dated, but covered in wood plank and not very clean. A lot of dust. This particular room did not have a shower and only a bath tub with the hot water trickles out. I'm not joking. It took about 30 minutes to fill the bathtub. Tip 1. Make sure to ask if the room you are booking has a shower if you're needing a shower for medical reasons or handicap accessibility. According to one of the reviews, and in their pictures, there appeared to be a nice shower in the mesquite, but we weren't given the chance to stay there. Once you get in the room, you're given two towels for the bath and two towels for the hot tub. I uncovered the hot tub to see that the water was very cloudy and it wasn't a result of the bubbles. So I put the cover right back on. They don't give you anything with respect to toiletries when it comes to soap or shampoo or lotions or bath bomb. So it really does feel like you're not being pampered. Bed And Breakfast should always feel like you're being pampered. And inside the room, you're not giving any type of bottled water, filtered water and so you rely on the bathroom sink in the bathroom tub. Which I thought was really bad. The outside of the room was covered in Pineneedles on the walkway, and so we tracked some into a room. When we were trying to get into the door, some even to get into the wheels of our suitcase. It was kind of annoying. The area is just really dated and not well kept. However, that does give it a very rustic feel and so if you're into that kind of thing that it may suit your fancy. It does have a really cute cat that keeps you company in the random deer that you will see from time to time. Overall, I'm sure it meets the needs of a specific clientele that would enjoy that atmosphere but when I go to a bed-and-breakfast, I consider myself to be high maintenance. So they certainly could meet the need a specific individuals however, it's not a place that I would really return to .

Honestly, we went in and out a lot and not once did we see her smile in the 2 days of staying there. It would probably be in your best interest for your hotel by getting rid of her. I could give a description of her but maybe you can figure out who she was by the date and time. Also, if you advertise a bar it should be open. Ridiculous!!!! I'm sure this will never make it to the right people because it looks like there are a lot of complaints about the check in process.

Really unfortunate. None of us slept well. When we woke and quickly left in the morning, the hallway was at least 10 degrees cooler than our room. Honestly, don't sell the room (or at least discount it) if it's that bad and you know it! No continental or provided breakfast either. You can buy breakfast from a "cafe".
