They posted that they are closing this location 5-1-26, so I went to cancel my membership because the other locations are too far from my house. The manager (very young brunette) said I already paid for my last month but they couldn't refund me. She said the last month could not be refunded even though they are closing. I canceled it effecting today, 4-13-26...but they are still taking another pmnt from my checking account on 4-28 even though I can't use my membership bc they are closing. I don't have time to argue w her so I just decided to let folks know, la fitness (shocker) is out to rip us off. They don't care about doing to right thing, close their location without 30 days notice so they can scam customers out of another months pmt for something they can't use. read more

I went here after not visiting for a while. I like this location. It's less crowded, easy parking, and not a lot of "posers" like some other locations. Staff is very nice. There is a nice trail behind the fitness center also. I recommend going for a brisk walk on that, enjoy the hot tub and sauna after that, then get a coffee from one of the many places in Town Center after that. I like here for classes & swimming. In my opinion, weight machines here have more varieties than any other locations. However, I don't like the cleanliness & parking here. I found many times mold around the water fountain, so bring your own water. Also, dust & hairs around the machines that have never been cleaned for months. The parking is challenging, especially in the afternoon or weekend. It's not only hard to find the spot, but also spots are too narrow. My car got dent at least 5 times. Now, I have specific location or time whenever I park. I wish the gym can be open longer on weekend. read more

This is easily the most mid gym I've been to everything is poorly maintained to such an extent that at the butterfly machine they move a bench press bench over to it because the seat fell off and it's no longer there. There's an entire area that's gatekeeped out of you unless you want to pay for an additional class to use something as simple as a sled which is available at other gyms openly. Punching bags are poorly maintained half of them are broken or missing. Treadmills are poorly maintained and there's no elevator to the top to access them. Locker rooms or gross and dirty and for some reason they allow plenty of children to just run around in there. There's a juice bar but I've honestly never seen anyone there to serve so the whole point is functionless. The freeweight area is way too small there's not enough benches and there's too many people in there for the area. The gym overall has a funk smell and gives off the idea that they do not clean. read more

Frustrating gym. It's not cleaned regularly, so grime piles up during the 2 weeks in between cleans. In addition, you have a 20% chance of the gym not opening up on time at 5am. So if you have a carefully crafted early morning schedule, do NOT consider this gym to be reliable. I really wish there were better options around the area. I'd be willing to pay 4x the price of this gym for a reliable, clean environment with high quality members. read more

I usually go to the two Everett locations to swim but both pools are down for broken heaters. I drove to this locations and was really disappointed! This place has the dirtiest lockers rooms I have ever seen. One of the showers was blocked off and the others were disgusting with dirt and hair on the floors. The pool temp was ok but the air was freezing. I swam next to the doors and I could see an inch gap on the bottom of the door to outside. No wonder my arms were freezing while trying to swim. I could not get out of that place fast enough! The Everett locations are clean and enjoyable to be in. This club would get zero stars if able to rate that low. It is unfortunate also that LA fitness has frequent closures of their pools for maintenance issues. read more

The workers here are inappropriate as hell. The fact that one brought her boyfriend in and was grinding on him taking a video of it on the machines is probably the trashiest thing I've ever seen at a gym, let alone by someone who works there. If you are lucky enough to attend Isabel's classes or purchase her personal training, I am confident your life will be better for it! I had pain throughout my body when I started her kickbox cardio class, which resolved my low back pain. I was fortunate to purchase personal training from Isabel for a year in which I got stronger and had the discipline to work out myself between sessions. Isabel is so good at what she does. I do things at her pushing me that I would never do on my own, and it's fun and it's safe because she's looking out for me while I do it. Isabel cares. She knows how our muscles work and she and pays attention to her clients. She knows how to push me so I always feel amazing after her workouts. I know she puts a lot of expertise and effort into the variations of her classes and the music she chooses, which is super fun! There's a lot of things in my life that want my time, and my time with Isabel is not optional. It's what the ratings suggest. If you are using the club, you can see what it's like when you visit. It doesn't need an in depth review. The training program is not worth it whatsoever. I liked my last trainer who was an outlier. But otherwise, there was a lot of trainer churn as trainers leave frequently due to dissatisfaction. When a trainer is on the way out, they show up 5-10 mins late for a 25 minute session and you're going to do random exercises to fill the remaining time. The available trainers are overbooked, so it's impossible to have a pre-set cadence or a training schedule. You'll find yourself coming different days and times based on the trainer's calendar. The club doesn't keep track of your goals and progress. Their enthusiasm is high until they lock you in for 6 months and get your credit card on file. It's also hard to cancel your program. This is by design and intentionally not customer friendly. No online cancellations. There's a snail mail option (coz it's definitely easier than online?). Else you have to go in person for an interview with the cancellation manager. Sign ups can happen during club hours, but cancellations are weekdays until 5 pm and only if you catch the cancellation manager. No other employee nor your trainer can cancel your program. If you miss your cancellation deadline as you're trying to find the cancellation person, you'll be billed again. The club takes their cancellation and refund policies more seriously than their training programs or customers. read more

Be careful when u sign up with this gym. First the fees are not visible for you to sign up while they said all your fees are paid upfront and your next billing cycle will be xyz and you are all done when I haven't even utilized their gym I cancelled and was charged an annual fee of 65 - they do not prorate "annual" even thought u signed up for just two months that u paid up front! Be careful also on freezing account, the reps there was not aware of 10 fee they deduct from your monthly - it isn't free to freeze your account. The contract was never visible to u, u just have someone reading u only one sentence n tell u to sign a box! They need to change this and allow for the contract to be printed out or allow people to read it where it is visible!!!!!! Not sign a pin pad with no contract for u to read! After u paid it is then they will email u a receipt and if u don't check right away they charge u an annual fee two weeks after that even when they said you are all good to go and only will be paying 39.99 a month - the place is also dirty and old don't go here. Go to 24 hr fitness! No hidden fees there and u can see what u r signing! read more

This is a chain gym but I give it a three stars because it is particularly filthy compared to other chain locations. The place was full of hair when I visited for the first time and there were also sticky dried up liquid on the floors. This place does offer a small basketball court with low quality rims. They also do not turn on the heat in the basketball gym so it relies on people playing to warm the place up. When I went, it was just myself and two other people so I left after a few minutes to escape the arctic temperatures. This place also have the standard array of cardio and free weights. There is also a pool and three racquet ball courts. In terms of membership, you pay a one time initiation fee (between $100-$150 depending on the promotions taking place), an annual fee, and the monthly dues. There is no contract and membership freezing is possible for $10 a month. read more

Isabel R is an amazing teacher/trainer at the LA Fitness Mill Creek. I have been doing her Body Work plus Abs class on Monday mornings since February . I couldn't do a push up when I started and now I am stronger than ever. She is great about explaining the exercises and form and muscle group that should be working. She stresses safety and proper form so students don't get hurt. She encourages students to work hard and challenge themselves while reminding us to listen to our bodies. She takes the time in a very large class to correct form when needed and I really appreciate that. read more

They have not cleaned the gym at night for months, so when I go into work out in the morning, the gym including the bathroom are littered with trash. They recently got rid of the paper towel and the soap dispensers throughout the entire gym and replaced them with cheap wipes, the kind you get at Fred Meyer to clean your grocery cart. My membership just went up 13% and this is what I get for paying more? It's becoming a good breeding ground for the next pandemic. read more

Today, they dusted the gym equipment and walls during opening hours letting it fall on top people and on the floor. Didn't even vacuum or sweep the floors. Originally, I was so excited to get my membership here. I promised my mom that, as her Christmas gift, I'd get her a gym membership and go with her once every week so we could workout together. I was really surprised at how rude the membership manager, Brittany was to me as I was willingly signing up for a membership without ever using a guest pass. I explained to her that I was originally going to go to the Totem Lake club and sign up for a signature membership, but this location was better for me to meet with my mom. I openly addressed that I was offered a really great membership price at the Signature Club, with zero initiation fee, and she openly scoffed at me. She spoke terribly of my friend at Totem Lake, then she started treating me like I was stupid when she quoted the Mill Creek membership prices. I couldn't believe how terrible she was... speaking poorly about someone at another gym and then treating me like an idiot... and thinking that would make me sign up as a c If my parents didn't live so close, I would have politely shut Brittany down and walked right out the door to go to Totem Lake. My jacket, keys and money were stolen by someone breaking into into my locked lockers. I filed a police report since it was a class 2 felony however I never heard back from them. Note too many teenagers use this gym and If you are an adult just stay away from this location. Over this their machines are old and broken and I would just go over to 425 fitness. read more

They could bring up my account, take my payments but wanted to "teach me" how to use my phone for the app. Almost refused to let me in if I didn't let them reinstall their app on my phone(WTF!) I've been to a lot of gyms in my life and have never experienced worse gym etiquette anywhere. There are backpacks and duffel bags all over the floor. People "reserve" equipment with jackets, dirty shirts, and even shoes. The dumbbell hoarding is out of control. I just joined this gym because it's close to where I live, and my workout partner uses the Aurora Avenue location so we can trade off working out together. I use the pool regularly and the temperature is good although it's a bit chilly in the environment. The hot water situation with the showers is tenuous. Sometimes I'll be taking a shower and it will go cold and stay cold. it's hard to get warm shower prior to using the pool. The reason Im placing this review is because yesterday I went to the gym and when I went to use the shower, it was beyond disgusting. There was so much black hair on the walls on the floors on the drains, everywhere. I chose not to shower there. There is also a large crack in the paint/wall as you enter the women's locker room from the pool. That looks really bad. When I used the pool yesterday the same piece of garbage I had noticed two days previously was still there so that tells me that no one is cleaning the pool deck. So generally, it's just seems pretty dirty on the weekend. I noticed during the week there is a person cleaning and I had no problem during the week but the weekend was absolutely disgusting. I also noticed in the area that people are resting in between sets, hogging machines and weights on their phones. Everyone's on their phone and holding up anyone else using the weights between sets -- very poor gym etiquette. The trainers seem attentive from what I can tell, although I have not used one myself. I gave two stars because the front desk has been friendly, And the pool itself seems clean. I'm very disappointed with the locker room. When I told the Front Desk the state of the locker room as I was leaving, he nicely said there was nothing he could do about it, but that he had heard that many times. I asked him to please make a note of it and pass it on to someone who can do something about it. read more
