Throughout our appointments, there was constant upselling of additional products and services, which made for an uncomfortable experience. Nobody mentioned the extra costs until AFTER all four appointments were completed (3+ hours later). When I questioned the bill, they refused to reduce it or work with us. I asked to review charges with my insurance before paying, but they submitted the bill to insurance that same day anyway. ADVICE: Before your exam, explicitly ask about ALL potential non-covered charges. Cost info is buried deep in their paperwork. Find a more transparent practice that respects informed consent and clearly discloses all fees upfront.

I only had to wait a short time before the optometrist was able to see me. The staff was very friendly, and there was a pretty good variety of frames to browse while I was waiting. The optometrist was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and, thankfully, not at all judgmental of how I routinely punish my eyes and wear my contacts to bed disturbingly frequently. This place has some serious management issues with how they operate. After my eye exam I ordered…read moretwo pairs of glasses, same prescription, because the reason for my visit in the first place was I had broken my only pair of regular glasses. I made a point to tell them this and that I couldn't see. I only had a pair of sunglasses from a few prescriptions ago, which is not at all ideal for daily wear. They said, on July 12 that they would be ready in about a week and a half which would have been around July 24. I never heard anything so I called them on that day to check and they said one pair had come in. Not sure when that happened or why they hadn't called me but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Now it has been 2 1/2 week, I still had not gotten a call about the second pair and so I call them again and they say they are ready. For being a company supposedly passionate about people's vision, they sure don't seem to be in a rush to get you to see properly. If I hadn't called, how much longer would it have been? I'm beyond disappointed and will be looking elsewhere for my eye exams and glasses in the future.
