I was referred to Emerald City by a friend when my Fiance' was pulled over while driving my truck for one thing yet received a ticket for a different infraction which would go on his record as a moving violation. I used Emerald City Law Group to reduce a speeding ticket and I felt the process and results were not great, but adequate. Most importantly they did part of what they said, but the most important parts of the results of the case were NOT what I wanted. Firstly, Brandi and Freddie and the whole staff are incredibly prompt and efficient which I really appreciate and think is a great part of their service. For the most part, they did what they said they would do throughout the process: they represented my case in court and negotiated a non-moving violation. Pricing was also very reasonable and would say generally more competitive/cost-efficient than other competitors. I was told that this would keep my driving record "clear" from ECLG. HOWEVER, let me be crystal clear this was not the case. I pulled my driver's abstract and the non-moving violation was on there. When I hear "clear" from Emerald City Law Group I take that as non-existent. Insurance carriers may not be able to see this or use this to determine premiums, however, employers, car rental services etc. will see this violation which was not the result I was looking for. ADVICE: please explain further to your clients on what exactly "clear" is before they decide to use your service! I was looking for a complete dismissal of violation if possible, which is what I told was possible from Emerald City Law Group. On a better note, I do commend this organization for their ability and willingness to take my phone call and hear my complains, which Brandi did. Because of this I would recommend Emerald City Law Group, however, it would be a qualified recommendation until they are able to better articulate what "clear" means and who exactly can see the non-moving violation. read more
