After struggling with installing a keyless deadbolt on my front door, I called up Robel and he was able to come out the next evening to save the day! I had Robel come out to re-key 3 locks to use the same key. He initially scheduled the wrong day on his calendar one day later, so he arrived late. He apologized and gave me a 20% discount for my troubles. He successfully re-keyed the locks but could not give me the 8 copies I needed because he ran out of blanks. Unfortunately, I could not get useful copies of these keys made anywhere (!). So I called him back, he came out to the house and re-tested all the locks, made some minor adjustments and made me 8 copies of the keys - all at no charge. I would have knocked him down a few stars because of the issues I had with the key copies, but his commitment to resolving my issue AND doing it free of charge is what customer service is all about. read more

My entry doorknob somehow got jammed shut. Husband and I tried to unscrew it and pry out the pieces ourselves, but the last piece still wouldn't come out which made it impossible for us to open the door. I sent Robel a quote request through Yelp and he replied quickly and scheduled an appointment for the next day. He freed the door open within minutes, and then installed all brand new doors and locks that I already had. Some were easy and others required more work (like the door that had a hole that was too small for the new knobs). He was even so kind and professional when I actually made his job more difficult by messing up one of the smartkey locks (hint: do not DIY, let the pros show you how it's done!) and said he had to come back since he needed to bring another tool (due to my interference). From what Robel told us, he works a lot during the busy summer season, so if he's running late it's because he's working nonstop. i was heading overseas on vacation. He was very willing to help walk me through trying to pick the lock myself.
