Hidden gem! The location is perfectly tucked near the Metropolitan Market in the plaza. There is a huge merchandise wall with protein powders, protein snacks, energy shots, and other pre/post workout items. I ordered a PB&J smoothie and my husband ordered a Peanut Passion smoothie - delicious and refreshing! Although they do have indoor seating, and it's a laidback vibe inside, our smoothies were perfect to-go drinks for finishing up the rest of our errands. My husband has also stopped by in the mornings for a "breakfast shake", a great spot any time of the day. read more

I'm only bothering with this review because I'm 100% certain that the person who made my smoothie screwed me over on purpose. Background: I hadn't eaten all day. Because of medical issues, I have to avoid sugar and have 90 grams of protein a day. I used to go here a lot so it looked like a good option. I ordered a smoothie that was supposed to have strawberries, banana, cranberry and whey protein, and I added a caffeine boost. As I asked the employee about smoothies, I mentioned that I don't like too much sugar. What I got was a blended strawberry sorbet. No protein, banana, cranberry. No real fruit. I'm 100% certain. This, after tipping her 18%. If the intended result was to make me sick, well - mission accomplished. I drank what I could because my blood sugar was so low I had to have something. Anyway, congrats on your tip. Good job. This was at about 3:20 pm on 10/23/24; employee has long, dark, wavy hair. I wasn't rude. I was sick. No idea why you wanted to make my day even worse. Of course I won't be back. I sincerely hope mgmt. sees this, because she's posing a danger there since she's willing to tamper with food. This is NOT a Jamba Juice, but a smoothie place offering truly healthy choices. Parking is really easy as this location is in a large shopping center on Gig Harbor. While visiting a friend we decided to visit this spot for a quick healthy breakfast. Customer service was excellent and the young man working, Chad, helped me make a super yummy choice from the vast menu of various categories of drinks. The categories are; Nourish My Body, Bulk ME Up, Help Me Lose Weight, Go Green, and Boost My Immune System. The many other additions from bee pollen to vitamin C supplements. I chose the guava sunrise, which had, Guava, Strawberry, Rasberry, Orange, Whey Protein from the "Nourish My Body" section. Super yummy and not too sweet. I loved it! Great experience all around. The store was clean and had a great variety of smoothies, açaí bowls and supplements. The girl who took my order was friendly and efficient. Drinks were fine, service from redhead girl was horrible. Left drinks on the counter and I did not see them until I looked up while she was washing dishes in the back. I had to yell back there to make sure they were mine. She was probably pissed because I only gave her $1 tip. I usually leave more as I buy from here five times a week. $100 a week in smoothies. But for some reason the two same smoothies I always order that usually come out to a little over $17 for some reason were over $19 this time. I always round up to $20 so she got a dollar. Unfortunately I'm going to be a stickler here because I paid $7.xx for a 24oz drink. It tastes good-simple. however here's my issue. The nutrition info they're advertising is false. I ordered a lean body that advertised 40g of protein. I asked if I could scan the protein label into my app to track my macros, she was very kind to let me do so and had no problem with it. Come to find out the one scoop of protein she added was only 17g of protein, paired with the oat milk is a total of 20g of protein - half what they advertise to be in the drink. I asked her to add an additional scoop which she was very kind and did. I'm just not into how if I didn't know any better I would be paying for and consuming what I was told would be 40g of protein. Their açai bowl was amazing!!!! I only have tried one kind but they all sound amazing. They're really customizable and you can mix and match however you like. It was a beautiful warm day and we got to eat them outside in the sun. There could have been better signage and a system for keeping patrons distanced etc but overall it was an easy and fast process. I think they even are on doordash! I highly recommend especially since there's not a lot of places in Tacoma area with açai bowls. read more

This place is my go to since I had my baby. Every time I walk in here the staff as I was very attentive and wearing masks. They are always kind and very helpful I never feel rushed or alone. If I have any questions or if I want to do any modifications it is ever a problem and I never feel like what I want cannot be made . This guys are superstars ! That's why . The atmosphere is always clean and super tidy. The smoothies always taste amazing even when you're feeling Burt out get a smoothie ! They always have so many great options and combinations they always have exactly what you need. This place needs a lot of work. I ordered a builder you can actually taste and feel the powder of the of ingredients and the mix became so watery too. I always go to the one in Lakewood and over there they make really good smoothies. The price is more expensive than Lakewood. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I've been a fan of ECS for years, but I had to write a review today for a very special experience. I called right at 8:30a, when they open, and told the sweetheart there that I had just gotten the Covid vaccine the day before, and woke up sick as a dog at 2am. She could tell that I was really sick, and suggested the Energizer smoothie with amino acids and probiotic. It was perfect! And she wrote a very sweet message wishing me well and hoped the smoothie would help. And it did! Lovely store and extraordinary staff. Thank you so much! read more

My grand daughter and I stopped in for a 4 o'clocker.. she had a Fruity Supreme, me an Energizer. What a great alternative to the coffee establishment a few doors away. To top it off. I feel awkward about this review given the fact that I enjoy smoothies in general. Really, I do love me a good smoothie. However, I can't see myself getting behind this one as much. Which is sad, because I really want too. I can't remember the smoothie I got, which is sad. I do remember that the smoothie was very water-y and had little flavor. The other thing that really bugged me was that I had maybe 1-3 choices since a majority either contained protein powder or chocolate. I can't digest either, thus making it a poor situation for me. I highly doubt I'll go back just because of the lack of options. If they added more, then maybe. read more
