We are on a cross country tour from Southwest Florida and are full-timers for 5 years. This is by far the best resort we've ever stayed in. We were here for 5 days and just hung out at the pool. The tiki bar served great food. We had one of the best steaks for dinner that we've ever had. There was plenty to do but it was just a bit too hot to take advantage of the 9-hole executive golf course. read more

Spent 2 days here at this resort and had a blast! We loved it so much we ended up joining the membership! The sales lady wasn't pushey you either want it or you don't. It works for our family and what we want to use it for weekend trips. We don't have a trailer yet so we're able to rent the cottages or RVs that are there on site for less then a hotel for a family of 7. The pools, bar, store, golf, tons of trails (with donkeys to greet you) and clean showers/bathrooms on the site are very nice. Trails galore across the street you just have to pull your trailer because you can't drive your utv in the park, but there's a sign less then a mile down that's a OHV park. You can pull in and park there with restrooms near the parking lot. At the resort all the employees are super friendly and everyone we came in contact with was just super nice. Not crazy or super loud there, quiet time is 11pm and everyone seems to be respectful of that. Can't wait to go back and start our adventures!! read more

There going try to hit you with a 15 K membership don't fall for it then they'll show you another membership don't fall for that one then they'll show you another membership we didn't fall for that one then the lady walked out and came back in and said someone in the other room grandparent passed away and they want to sell their membership to us that was very funny . This review is ONLY based on the shitty-shitty Salem trailers that are for rent and the crap-tastic showers. One word disgusting!!! Oh my god. The walls were so gross and filthy. I will let the pictures of the dirty ass air filter speak for itself! I will never ever rent one again. The air filter cover was on the floor. We asked to move and we were told that we needed to speak with reservations..... they were not available. It was so god damn cold and you are only provided a tiny heater that wasn't nearly enough to warm the trailer. The shower room is actually nice and I was hoping for a great shower but that wasn't the case. The shower heads are so corroded with lime all you get is a few needles of water. My husband and I enjoyed the Emerald Cove RV resort very much. The only thing that would make our visit more enjoyable is that they would have more people helping out at the snack bar in the front and cooking in the back to speed up the process. Also it would be nice to have Internet that really works. I would suggest not purchasing their Internet at the market. Outstanding customer service! We are Coast to Coast members and visited the Emerald Cove Resort instead of spending crazy $ to be at another resort (down the street) where some family members were staying last weekend. (And let me just say, that other resort could use some training on customer service and making things right for people spending A LOT of money there.) We decided to rent one of ECR's travel trailers instead of bringing our motorhome. The rental trailer (Salem, 36' bunkhouse type) was fine, nothing fancy and not close to the water at all, but we were only using it to sleep and eat breakfast as we were spending our days with family down the street. The unit had two air conditioners which worked really well except didn't reach the bunk bed area so that part of the trailer was always warm but overall impressive considering the 4 nights we stayed, the temp was 105-114 degrees. I'd say the facility itself is average and to be honest, we didn't use all of the amenities, but we did use the launch ramp, laundry and shower facilities and bought necessities at the store. I absolutely have to give five stars because of the service. Every single employee we were in contact with, at check-in, store, security were absolutely wonderful! Helpful, happy staff. Overall, It was a fabulous stay. I highly recommend it! read more

Came to Emerald Cove to have a peaceful, nice and free camping trip. Arrived on Friday, Dec. 1 2023 and scheduled to leave on Monday. Camp property is all dirt, no grass and several of the sites are on the river edge. Be prepared to smell your neighbors sewer, watch their TV and see through their windows what all their decorations are and like feeling like a sardine. Then liking that, you make your way to the "Sales" and administration office for the required presentation from the "most" experienced sales person you have ever met, (just ask them) and "Tim" the grounds manager will tell you so as well. Then you will be greeted with their anger, sarcasm and insults. Upon arrival, we politely requested to meet outside, since the lobby reeked of smoke, It was a beautiful day and there was a picnic table just outside the door - so a reasonable request due to our smoke allergies. We were told that there was no smoke odor, 'no one was smoking in the office' and that meeting outside was not possible. As soon as we pushed back on their refusal to meet outside, the rudeness and insults started. We were told that we probably wouldn't fit in to their family-oriented RV park. They also indicated that they wouldn't want us as members because they could tell we were chronic complainers. When we objected to their insults, we were told to leave the sales administration office area or they would call the Sheriff and have us removed from the park. We asked for the owner's name and number, but they refused to provide them. We also asked for their business certificate, but were told they couldn't find it. When we mentioned that we believed our civil rights were being violated, they told us to enjoy our free stay and to leave the sales office area. So, we left along with my service dog. So, if you are looking to have a free camping weekend, this might be your place to meet the "sales" and "grounds" attendants who only care about the money and not you. I absolutely love love love it here! My only pet peeve is that the staff in the market are not friendly and seem very unhappy to be working. Wish they had fresh produce to purchase not just junk food. (Some people like myself enjoy eating a clean diet ) The bar staff are equally not friendly. Some people just don't appreciate having a job. Hopefully management pays attention. A place that gets super busy should have staff that are overly friendly, not staff complaining that they are at work or ignoring you. They do not have a liquor license so you get served crappy wine drinks that make you feel sick. The food quality here is not good at all so I recommend that you drive to the local market to buy groceries and cook yourself.. The restrooms get cleaned first thing in the morning and the housekeeping crew are always friendly. It's a shame that the people who come here are disrespectful and dirty birds they leave a mess with no regard. I guess they assume they are on vacation so they don't care to clean up after themselves. Otherwise I would say shower in the mornings because it does get cleaned. Things I like here .... I would say the amenities ... pool, jacuzzi , karaoke, River. Laundry rooms are always clean, free power, sewage and water. I love coming here for the views and the serene experience and environment. Check in process is simple and easy. I take away 1 star due to unfriendly staff otherwise I would give 5 stars . Hopefully in the near future they get some fresh produce, better food at the bar and better drinks. read more

My wife , kids (13 &15), and I stayed July 21-25, 2017. I was nervous due to some of the other reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. Upon arrival to the check-in kiosk, Martin greated us and checked us in, then another friendly guy led us to our site (252). Our site was a pull through site with clean small gravel, a picnic table, two faucets, sewage and electrical hook up. During our stay the sites on both sides remained vacant. Very peaceful. Internet services were hit and miss. Security at the park was friendly and advised us to contact them if we needed anything. We were next to one of the street lights in the park, so we put towels over our windows to help darken. The temps were over 100 degrees every day. We were mostly in the water or trailer. My wife and i attended the required membership meeting for our free stay. "Lanie" gave our sales presentation 1200- 205 pm. She was friendly and the presentation was similar to a time share sales pitch when they sell it having different price options etc and then give you an alternate purchase option. Typical swag to include a "free trip" and free gas; each with their own hoops to jump through. She wasn't rude and she explained the membership well, it just wasn't a fit for us at this time. Perhaps if we become full time rv'ers. We went to Walmart in Parker and bought some rafts ( 2-person $20, 1- person $5). We brought our kayak and tied the tubes behind us. Great Exercise towing the kids south and then north against the current. Extreme Frogger paddling across the river twice with water skiers, jet boats, jet skis, pontoon boats etc. That night (Saturday) we used our free dinner coupon for the steak dinner at the pool. You could choose between two sides of coleslaw, beans, and potatoe salad; all were of the out of carton variety. It included free drinks to include drinks from the bar. Prices at the bar were great $3 pitcher beer, cheap eats, etc. The bar has a pool on each side. Kareoke was the entertainment. The crowd was varied young and old. Not many of the 20-30 year old drunks though. My wife dropped the kids and i off at the "Rock House" boat ramp just north of the park. We float tubed down to camp. I had to get into the water so the current pulled us south as the wind otherwise pushed us into the west shore or would slow our float. There were lots of burros, we stopped counting at 33. If you want to see them just drive north toward the dam, they are everywhere. Parker dam is the deepest dam in the world!! We went fishing and spear fishing and caught a nice bass. Review regulations regarding fishing regs. Both CA and AZ licenses work for the river. For you bass fisherman, the big bass we caught had four crawdads in it's belly!!! Also saw catfish jumping and a huge dead carp. North by the dam is much more mellow, less boaters/people. "Cable Car" day use area has a nice eddie area , just north of the path to the water, that has some nice bass. Next time I will bring my crawdad trap. Bring snorkeling gear but have a dive flag or at least someone with a flag so you don't get boated over! A couple of neat thunder lightening storms happened. While we were here i did not note mosquitoes or flies. The bathroom near our site was clean and appeared remodeled. We drove to Lake Havasu (50min drive) rented a boat from Paradise Wet n wild. I highly recommend them. We will definately be back. read more

Bought a new trailer. Got a year free camping here. Just had to go to their speech about buying into the resort. They scheduled us to do the speech the first day. It was a little rushed and didn't feel like I got the right info. After staying their for 4 days. I loved it. But we had to decide right than in there if we wanted to buy into it or we wouldn't get the discount Now I'm bummed bc it's a great place. Guess I'll enjoy a couple more times here.... if I can get in they didn't seem like they wanna call me back! But they could sure call me 100xs to get me to come! read more

I am a new CRA member and this is my first trip to Emerald Cove. I have been to over resorts and I joined at another resort. I was very happy when we pulled in last night and I looked around the park. They have mini golf with old boats and jets skis made into the course. The mini golf course made my boys happy. They also have a playground for the kids and plenty of beach for the kids to play. My kids haven't been to the kids center yet but they are excited about it. Since it is Halloween weekend there are a ton of activities planned. Trick or treating for the kids, a Halloween party, a monster ball, and it all seems fun. I am excited to decorate my trailer with my Halloween decorations for the first time. Checking in at 9:30 pm was easy and the gate guy was sweet as can be. We have a water front spot without neighbors. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 2013- 18/100 **This is a CRA Member Park**. I came down here to visit my boyfriends Mom and Dad who hold the membership. His sister (and her family) joined us to enjoy a simple and relaxing Family Memorial Day weekend. Bonus.. Place is pet friendly.. His parents arrived early and setup their RV and landed a beautiful spot on the river before the remaining crowd arrived. The park offers parking lot style gravel sites with cement pads, limited landscaping, picnic tables and barbecues throughout. They also offer a nice pool for those who don't want to mess with wading in the river. The have a stocked general store on site for those last minute items that you forgot to pack- which is a nice touch. There is a safeway within 5 miles, too (if that's more your speed). They have a kids club during the day by the pool area. The bathrooms were nothing to brag about- but they weren't filthy or too smelly. The best part of the vacation was enjoying the river and the sunshine. My french bulldog came along for the trip and the entire family got a kick out of watching him bite at the waves and play in the river. It was also nice to tie a raft out and soak up some sunshine as others speed by on their jet skis and motorboats. We all really enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed the pleasures of basic camping. Only Tip: It gets really (and I mean really) hot there so make sure you pack a ton of sun screen. ohhhhh.. they also get burros coming down the mountains to drink from the CO river- I enjoyed seeing them. My family and i visited and camped here in our RV over the memorial weekend. We agreed to attend a presentation In hopes we would purchase a membership which is very OVERPRICED for what you get/what they offered. Memberships range from 7k-13k DOWN and once a year after the memberships dues are $449 annually (but they tell you dues are usually $649 but today if u purchase we will knock off $200 lol obviously think we were fools) The facilities are very outdated and in much need of an update! It could also be a lot cleaner (restrooms,showers) I honestly can't believe they expect ppl to pay this esp without basic amenities!! no wifi, cable television (not even basic channels) or gym. Yes the point is to get away but still I would like to have these amenities as an option especially if I'm forking out 7-13k up front!! Once our "sales rep" can't remember his name he was rude AF once he sensed we weren't gonna buy. We spoke with other couples that attended the same presentation and said they were also treated the same. Also, we were all given different prices at least with an $1k difference!!! As my husband and i said we didn't expect it to be that expensive he said in a rude tone "well how much did u expect it to cost" literally kicked us out and made us walk back to our RV which was kinda far away. (we were picked up and driven to the sales center for this presentation). Anyway, I wouldn't wanna be a member to this place even if they had just given it to me! read more

This place has To be one of the worst RV parks. After reserving a spot weeks prior I had informed the person on the phone that my RV is 50 amp. After driving 5 hours and getting to the place the lady at the gate informed me they do not have 50 amp and that I would have to dog bone down to 30. With almost the same breath she told me if I don't want to do that I could go find aother RV park to stay at. Then to find out that I was to attend a 90min "timeshare" Type of membership pitch . I was Not told that when I called. There was another employee there that looked at me and said "come follow me ill find you a spot" it was Thanksgiving holiday and I didn't think I would be able to find another RV park that would have availabilities. So I did end up staying. . The spots are very tight, The sewer lines are positioned to the front. I ended up having to run 40' of hose. The smell of sewer (methane) in the air was so bad I have to close all the windows in my rig, witch didn't make it go away. You would think if they wanted to sell something to somebody they would not put them in the back row where it smelled like sewer for the whole weekend. Actually ended up pulling out on Friday I just couldn't take the smell anymore. The only reason I gave it one star was because of the employee that Got me set up. The best he can. read more

This is a membership RV camping resort. After joining the group we thought we would see what this one was like. We thought it would still be cool enough in Mid May, but we were wrong. High 90s low 100s during the day. There is a nice breeze most of the time. Staff is friendly and lots of things offered in the park. A miniature golf course and a regular golf course across the street, a newly remodeled arcade that is sure to please the younger ones and young at heart, 2 covered pools, jacuzzi, wading pool, with a bar in the center that serves drinks and food, horseshoe pits and a laundromat. The clubhouse was closed for remodeling so we didn't see it. The meals are a great price and the store is fairly reasonable. Some spots are right on the river. This is a great place to stay if you are into water sports and have a boat or other watercraft. We didn't so didn't really get the full benefit of the park. There are a few things to do in Parker, but some were closed due to Covid. We like browsing in thrift stores and found a few to visit. Parker Dam is good for short stop on the way to Havasu City, 45 minutes from the resort. We visited the Lobdon Bridge, but tours are not offered this time of year. The visitor center closed at 4 and we got there after that. Our timing was bad and with no watercraft we were limited in what we could do. Overall a nice resort for families that like watersports on the river. read more

So we went to this place because we got a free trip as part of our new travel trailer purchase. The only catch was to sit through a 90 min presentation. The park itself was average. Nothing special. We were in the the third row three spots from the pool. Spot was spacious and had 30amp only and full hook ups except no cable. The two pools were cool and the kids loved them. The best part about this place was the pool bar food. Fish and chips on Friday was good. Steak on Sat was not bad either. Overall food was perfect when it's hot and you don't want to be in your RV. Be prepared on the weekends if your close to the pool you will hear music till late but it didn't bother us as the kids were pooped from playing all day. Be prepared if you come in the summer that your RV will struggle to keep cool during the day but that is not the parks fault. WIFI is terrible there. We even got the premium service so I could work and save your money because I never connected. Had to leave a day early because I planned on working from there but with no ability to connect it was terrible. Next thing is the security doesn't enforce the rules very well. We had two dogs in a site right by us that were left in crates all night and barked and barked and barked at everything. Security rolled by and didn't say a word. The beach area to the right of the boat ramp was not really a beach. Lots of rocks and no sand entrance. The beach to the left was perfect but extremely packed and very hard to find a spot because all the people on the river front have their boats and jet skis beached and tied up. We did find a spot late Friday night which worked out. The mini golf was super cool my kids loved it. They need to blow the leaves off occasionally as there were a lot of leaves. Lastly the time share presentation was not terrible. Peggy was our sales person and she did such an amazing job at explaining everything. She understood our family dynamic and did not overly pressure us to buy. She was a pleasure to deal with. Overall not a bad stay. If you have a boat place would be a good place to come. Wish they would allow non members to stay from time to time. read more

The experience once at the park is great for those who enjoy camping. Reservation line is hit and miss with quality service because one time you get someone who is on their worst day and sometimes its a great and easy experience. They send bills by mail versus electronically and did not update our address correctly on 3 occasions. We got stuck with late charges and it went to collections almost affecting our credit. I luckily caught it in time because I happened to call and try to reserve. CRA did split the feed with us though they were not rightfully ours to begin with because they did not update our address. Not the most consistent customer service in reservation and if you have to deal with billing they are some of the best at using political tactics to traduce a customer. Also, Don't be confused by "Resort" because its not a luxury resort location for Resort goers. It is resort style for Rv'rs and campers. Very different. If you want a guaranteed resort stay find somewhere that you are willing to pay top dollar for to get top quality. read more

Many complaints about the dogpark beach which is SUPPOSE to be for dogs to use and play in the water is blocked by boats, jetskis, fishermen and other people using it instead of what it is for. Staff needs to address and monitor this! read more

Very nice and clean resort. We had a nice time by the pool, as well as by the water with our chairs and floaties. We didn't have a car to leave the resort and there isn't anything within walking distance. I recommend bringing bikes and water activities. They had two vegan options at the bar which was good. We recommend this resort for anyone wanting to visit the Parker area. read more

My wife and I spent a complimentary five days there last year. We checked in Monday night and had the "presentation" Tuesday morning. After hearing all they had to offer my wife and I were impressed, we told the sales person we would like to see if we enjoyed the park before we made a decision on investing in a membership. the RUDE salesman then proceeded to tell us he needed a decision NOW! or this "deal" he was offering was gone there are no come back laters, its now or the price goes up significantly. Turned us off completely, pools, bar, Jacuzzi, food all were good people nice, but the sales guys high pressure BS presentation turned us off. read more
