Sea Lions from the boat's view

This was a really fun ride. Captain Ryan made the trip really funny and interesting! He was very polite and nice to everyone in the boat and even gave us all a chance to steer and drive the boat! Next time I come to San Francisco, I'm going to take this tour again and I want to bring more people along. Thanks for making my trip memorable and awesome :)

My kids and I did the 30 min tour for 15$. It was so fun and the kids (9 & 7 years old) had a blast!! Probably one of the best adventures of the day. The kids got to drive the boat for a min and the captain made them laugh and feel totally comfortable. I highly recommend this adventure for anyone looking for a fun, cheap and memorable experience while in San Francisco.

Everything was fantastic about this boat ride! While we were eating our Dryers ice cream, we sat down on a wooden platform just behind the booth and heard the call for the 30 min boat ride. $15 for adults and $10 for kids. We figured it was a great end for our son's 5th birthday. From the start Capitan Ryan was a terrific guide. He wasted no time getting us boarded safely and moving. With a lot of comedic flair, he kept us engaged from the time we casted off and all through the trip. The trip included a close look at the resident sea lions and a great look at SF lit up. Although we are locals, it was still fun excitement for the evening. The rocking boat and waves gave us a light thrill to end the warm night. The kids and adult Hams all got an opportunity to take a photo op with a Skippers hat steering the boat. It was a wonderful treat for my boy as Captain Ryan led a sailors birthday song in honor of his birthday! Arrrr! Totally Awesome!!

One guy waited in the distance for interested tourist for a $10 boat ride with a small print out of things to see on the boat ride. The actual captain arrived after dropping off some people from previous ride. The staff is quite friendly although the ride wasn't quite what we expected. It was probably a good deal though. The boat went around the dock rather than closer to the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Thirty minutes went by quickly as the Captain talked and steered around. We got an upclose look and sniff of the Sea Lions. The boat ride didn't make me nauseous but toward the end of the ride I did make my stomach start to feel a little uneasy. So I got off at the right time. The photos were a little misleading on the "brochure" as far as how close they were captured. I would recommend this to families and anyone who want to try out boating for the first time. Optional to wear life jackets.

I just recently took some friends to Pier 39 and we took the Emerald Lady Boat Ride. This 30 min ride was fun, informative and just $10 per person. It felt like our little private ride! Since we were 10 people and the boat just about 15 people max. My kids and our friend's son had a blast, sailing the boat while wearing a captain's hat and even got the sailer's sticker !!! The ride gets is close to the sea lions, the world war boat and you will definitely get a closer view of Alcatraz. I will highly recommend it !!

    Adorably lazy Pier 39ers.

The Emerald Lady boat was very beautiful inside and outside. Captain (Michael) was super entertaining and explained about the features seen from the boat a lot. I was so excited to see the sea lions so close and was even more excited to have steered the boat. You cannot have this experience at anywhere else, I believe.

This took about an hour or a little longer. You go under the Golden Gate Bridge and then pass by Alcatraz on your way back. There's even a recording playing telling you what landmarks are across and near you aid gives you a little back story of things. Overall; a must do!

But, once we boarded everything was smooth sailing - mostly haha. The take off and docking were a bit choppy, but other than that it was a smooth ride. The route and duration were great! We are all from the area but have skipped the touristy things. Well we sufficiently got a taste of everything on this cruise. It was properly 2 hours - passed Golden Gate Bridge, bay bridge, Alcatraz, and Oracle Park which was cool to see from the water side. While there was no sunset, we did get good weather and clear enough skies. The one and only thing we would change is the narration - it was awful, awkward, not super informative, and could use major improvements. The staff was fantastic and made for a smooth onboarding. Overall, great cruise around the bay and for a super reasonable price for a 2 hour cruise!

So I took a chance and honestly it was the greatest thing I could have done! Such amazing hospitality and a small enough space for an intimate setting but also large enough to fit a group of 30! I have no regrets, everyone that came really enjoyed the ride and the service!! 10/10 recommend to anyone thinking of booking them for a private party or even just to do a public tour. Water was slightly bumpy on the way to the bridge but that's because we were going against the current. Still, we enjoyed the views and beautiful breeze. Route takes you to and under the Golden Gate Bridge then back towards the Bay Bridge. You definitely get your entire time on the boat! We were served our glass of wine, 3 whites offered and a red and they were yummy! Crew is of 2 and both gentlemen are nice and knowledgeable. The owner is super fun and sweet, we had such a lovely time onboard. Whether a local or a visitor, 10/10 recommend booking this sunset cruise!!

We boarded the boat at 5:30am and departed exactly at 6am after they checked all of our fishing licenses (so make sure you buy yours online prior to the trip). The captain and deck hands were extremely patient and non-judgmental. The bait was constantly replaced and the deck hands always helped if the hooks got tangled. We were allowed to bring our small Yeti with breakfast and drinks. There is a restroom in the boat which is kept clean and accessible. I caught a large striped bass in which I was able to get cleaned and cut to take home! The views of the city were beautiful and the surrounding areas like Alcatraz and Angel Island. For sure will be planning another trip soon

I've had goose eggs trying to get my boy to reel in his first fish at lakes. Even though his first catch was a throw back I couldn't have been happier. The crew was a thousand more times than awesome as well as the fellow fishermen and fisherwomen who put up with my boy playing with the bait. Also a shout out for the great price compared to others even though gas prices are through the roof. Yeah I paid for two and we only used one rod but that was on me,even though they kept trying to set me up with one, because I just wanted my boy to catch something. Again great crew and their tip jar is too small. I threw in $80 and thought that was too little. Will do it again soon!
